Chapter Four

The next day glowed bright as Siva walked through the corridors of the Hotel toward her sister's room. She walked in noticing that the room was more quiet then usual. She watched Ebony sit mindlessly at her boudoir. Siva slammed the door behind her. "You must feel REALLY guilty."
"SHUT UP!" Ebony quickly snapped.
Siva sighed. "This is definitely not normal so I suggest you snap out of it and explain."
"You should have seen the Jay the other night. It was horrible; I didn't think it would happen I just wanted Trudy off my back."
"Well, that's always been your problem you jumped before even thought about the fact that you could break a leg." Siva walked over and leaned against the wall crossing her arms. "That's why I'm here I saw Jay the next morning, and the frankly the guy has completely lost it. Lucky for him I woke up early for a run or he would have been massacred by Lex."
"And this is completely my fault God I'd never thought I'd actually care."
"Well congratulations you're human, so now what are you going to do about it."
"Any suggestions"
"Well you're his superior give him more work to do, or something."
"There is nothing to do. City-Leader Salene and Judge Amber have turned the city up side down since the days of the Locos."
"Well I can help...a little."
Ebony looked at her sister suspiciously. "How?"
"Did you know I dated a con-artist?"
Ebony laughed. "What Lex? Are you serious? The guy's kinda rusty you think?"
Siva rolled her eyes. "Do you want my help or not?" Ebony sobered trying to stifle the last of her laugh. "I was going to suggest that Slade help, but that would mean you'd have to explain everything."
"Everything?"
"Everything"
Ebony sighed. "Fine"
"Good, the only missing piece of the puzzle now is a very forgiving Siria."

Far from the city, Siria stood trying to steady the bow and arrow in her hands. She concentrated hard on the target in front of her as Aravinda watched. Pulling back Siria let the arrow fly just barely missing the target. Aravinda clapped gleefully. "You got it!"
"No I didn't. I missed."
"But you understand what you're doing. Now it's all about practice."
"Well it wasn't hard."
"I never said it was." Aravinda took an arrow and with smooth motion hit the target. "But it did take your mind off thing; I could tell."
"True." Siria pulled an arrow back going through the same motions as before.
"What's his name?"
Losing her concentration Siria let g of the arrow too quickly letting it sore into the trees. Siria turned. "What was that for?"
"Just testing your concentration," Aravinda smiled. If want I'll go get the arrows."
"No I'll get them." Siria walked toward the target picking up arrows. When she was looking for the last one she cursed under her breath. She hadn't the slightest idea were the arrow was. Finally laying some rocks Siria saw her arrow. Going to pick it up she heard a sound and stopped. Crouching low to the ground Siria watched area she heard the sound come from.
"Mouse, were are you?" Siria recognized the strong masculine voice of the guy she had met yesterday; Lev. Siria looked around until she spotted the little girl who was hiding in the hollow of a tree. She heard the voice again, and then she saw him. He was still the same: sort wavy hair, tanned skin and strong looking. Siria watched him in awe. Suddenly just as Lev was near the tree, Siria felt the urge to sneeze. She tried to hold it but couldn't and letting out the small stifled sound she attracted Lev's attention. He was soon standing over her in surprise. "What are you doing?"
Siria looked at the ground. "I'm looking for my arrows."
"They're in your hand."
Dumbfounded Siria looked at the arrows in her hand. "Oh...silly me"
"Uh—are you lost?"
Siria stood. "No" She looked around trying to find where she had come from."
"Were you with Aravinda cause I can probably help you find her."
"But I'm not lost."
Lev smiled. "Ok then which way are you going."
"I'm going..." Confused Siria looked around.
Lev smiled placing a guiding hand on her shoulder. Mouse who was still in the hollow watched her cousin lead Siria in the direction she had came. Leaving the hollow the girl followed them making little sound as she walked.
Aravinda was seated on a rock separating pebbles from dirt when Lev and Siria showed up. She looked up. "What took you so long?"
"I got lost."
"And he helped you?"
Siria shrugged.
"I'm nicer then you think." Lev retorted.
"I know that, but you're also the worst persons I've met."
"Whatever"
"By the way; where's Mouse?"
Lev's Eyes widened as he realized he still hadn't found his little cousin. Aravinda looking behind Lev called Mouse's name. Mouse poked her head out from behind a tree. Lev turned and grabbing Mouse picked her up. "Where'd you go Hope is going out of her mind?"
"I hate their stupid games; they always cheat!"
"We'll see about that," Lev turned back to Aravinda. "We'd better go; let you get back to your lesson and things." He looked at Siria. "Um, bye—"
"Siria" She returned the smile and watched as Lev and Mouse left.

Did someone light a match or is it just me; if you see where this is going, shhhhhhhhh!
