The 4 force users are back from Hradeek. During the mission, Luke found a red crossguard lightsaber and used his anger to take down stormtroopers alongside his masters. Ahsoka and Ezra were deeply concerned about the outcome.

While Luke was practicing his defense with his father's holovideos, his masters were conversing a distance away.

"Luke used his anger when we were on Hradeek. I get the feeling that wasn't his first time testing the dark side like that," Ahsoka said, staring at the Seventh Sister.

The Seventh Sister rolled her eyes, "Ok! Maybe it came from some of my private lessons…"

She continued, "But you are holding him back. He is ambitious like Ezra and eager to use his power for this alliance."

Ahsoka replied, "I don't view it that way Spectre Seven. If we are not patient, then we are more prone to be controlled by our negative emotions like anger and hate."

Seventh squinted her eyes. Ezra looked at both of them, not wanting to choose a side. He will be a sort of "negotiator", like Kenobi's nickname during the Clone Wars.

"Look Ahsoka, I understand what she is trying to do. She wants Luke to be familiar with both sides of the force, trying to find a way to balance it like she does."

"And Seven, don't rush Luke too fast. If we gradually ease him into everything, then he will be good to handle any tough situation."

"Thank you Ezra," Seventh replied genuinely. Ahsoka was happy to see Ezra easing both of them.

He held Seventh's hand, "Don't mention it."

Ezra turned his eyes to Seventh and Ahsoka. "We are all family. It is best not to hide anything from Luke. I don't want him to resent us like his Uncle hiding his father's past from him."

Ahsoka reflected on Anakin during the Clone Wars. She remembered the gossip on how he was supposedly "The Chosen One". He was meant to bring balance to the force. Now that he died, was Luke supposed to fill in his father's shoes?

"I remember when I was a Padawan and the stories of Anakin on how he was the Chosen One. How he would bring balance to the force. Perhaps Luke is the one who will help achieve that balance."

Seventh Sister added, "Well first we have to have him be driven by his positive emotions, having the urge to protect who he loves and cares for. In terms of my balance, it is my obligation to repay him…" Seventh pointed at Ezra.

She added, "And for Luke, it might be the drive to protect and grow this alliance, the urge to protect us, and the ambition to avenge his father and Kenobi by defeating Vader."

Ahsoka nodded. "Well Spectre Seven, we agree on avenging those we care for."

"Glad we made a compromise, Tano."

Ezra chuckled, "Alright enough of this already. What are we teaching him today?"

Ahsoka and Spectre Seven pondered in thought.

"Well, Ezra let's get Luke to figure out what he is driven by, reassure he knows his purpose. Then, we can have fun with some offense. We made him learn too much defense, from the Holovideos to the combat remotes."

"Hey! Remember I told you how those Holovideos helped me!"

Seventh chuckled, "Oh Ezra, I don't doubt it is helping Luke since he is the son of the man in the Holovideo. It's that you already had enough combat experience, especially with me…" She gave her signature grin.

"Oh force… don't bring those memories back…" Ezra said, rolling his eyes.

"Better memories than others I have." she replied.

Ahsoka rolled her eyes at Ezra and Spectre Seven's banter.

The three masters approached Luke.

Practicing his defense, Luke noticed their approachment and stopped the combat remote. He turned off his lightsaber and straightened himself to face his teachers.

"Hi masters! What have you had in mind for today?"

Ahsoka grinned at his eagerness and replied, "To affirm your purpose, aim, objective."

Seventh added, "Don't forget we have to help with his offense, Tano."

"One step at a time, Spectre Seven."

Ahsoka looked back at Luke, "Alright Luke, let's go to the hiking spot for meditation."

After over an hour of hiking, going through a steep incline, they made it to the top of the hill. It shows the greenery of the valley and the temple.

The 4 force users circled together and meditated.

There was only the sound of tree branches moving from the slight wind and chirping birds.

Luke started to hear an unfamiliar voice inside his head. "What do you want, Luke?" the voice asked in a genuine tone.

"I… I want to be able to protect my masters. Use my gift to serve the alliance. To defeat Vader." he responded.

Luke couldn't imagine the thought of any of his masters dying. At what cost, he doesn't know. His father and his master were killed by the same man. He can't bear the thought of losing his three mentors as well.

Ahsoka Tano was his honorary auntie. Who his father was, what he did for his friends, and what he stood for were clear to him because of Ahsoka. She taught him the importance of patience, taking one day at a time, and not rushing into anything. Ahsoka helped Luke develop hand-to-hand combat skills and how to utilize his force ability. He was glad that there was patience on her end, especially in the beginning of his training.

Ezra was like a sibling he never had. He had more years of experience than him. Instead of demonstrating jealousy to Skywalker's higher potential, Bridger was compassionate and eager to train him. They loved each other as brothers in war, willing to defend each other's lives if need be. It is because of him, Luke was able to rapidly develop his lightsaber defense.

Spectre Seven, formerly the Seventh Sister, was the most interesting to Luke. She is an example of one who was in complete darkness. Although, through the right guidance she was able to find a healthy balance. Spectre Seven does not want to hide anything from Luke, introducing him to aspects of the dark side. She sees a great sense of fulfillment developing him to be the best version of himself. While Ahsoka is like an aunt, Spectre Seven is like a mother to Luke. Very nurturing, trusting, and eager to help. Seven treats him like her own child, which can have good and bad aspects to it.

"And what if you can't save those you love and care for?" the unfamiliar voice asked in response to Luke.

"If I can't, then I will be even more driven to serve, to be able to save and protect those I love. There will be another opportunity given time."

The voice was satisfied with Skywalker's response, "Yes, that is why it's important to stay patient Luke. Don't try to learn everything all at once. One step, one lesson at a time."

Luke remembered how Ahsoka was fervent on him learning patience. Opportunities will always come, as long as he sticks to his masters' teachings and good habits.

"Heh.. despite all the chaos and death, I am at peace knowing it will all work out."

"Then you are ready for what is to come, Skywalker."

"Ready?" Luke thought. His eyes opened. He saw his three masters still in the circle, all their eyes closed.

"Masters?" Luke said softly.

The three opened their eyes, noticing Luke having something important to discuss.

"What happened Luke?" Ahsoka eagerly asked.

"I know my purpose," Luke smiled. "To serve the Alliance, protect those I love, and avenge my father and Ben's deaths by defeating Vader."

The Seventh Sister smiled, "You are finding a balance, my apprentice. And for that we are proud of you."

The four grinned, hopeful for what is to come.

"Let's go Luke! Let's practice some offense. Spectre Seven and I know a good spot."

"Oh I have my fun there," Seventh replied, tapping Ezra's arm.

Ezra rolled his eyes.

Luke lowered one of his brows at their banter. Finally, he grinned at the prospect of improving his lightsaber offense.
