Obi-wan watched as Luke walked up to him. Luke looked worried. The Jedi master didn't blame him. He worried about Anakin all the time. However, this was more than a master worried about their padawan. However, Obi-wan could not place what it was. "How powerful is Ben?" Obi-Wan asked crossing his arms. "And is he all, right?" he added when he saw Luke nervously fidget with his hands.
"He's very vulnerable in the force. Which is why I'm nervous about him being here. However, I can't show it to him. Mara is not safe either," Luke answered looking down at his gloved hand. Obi-wan nodded but he didn't say anything as he sighed.
"Is that why he was sensing a Sith?" the Jedi master asked after a few seconds. Luke sighed and nodded. He didn't really want to bring this up yet, but he had no choice at the moment.
"Yes, the Sith is talking to him. I fear that…" Luke trailed off as he stared off into space.
"Jedi. A powerful one at that. I can see you are with Kenobi. Bring me Kenobi and the boy. I would love to meet them," Luke shook his head and looked back at Obi-wan.
"I heard him. He…. he wants you," Luke said looking around him. Obi-Wan hummed and put his hand on his beard This made the younger Jedi master smile however it faded when Obi-Wan's blue-gray eyes grew wide.
"Maul?" he asked mostly himself. Luke nodded.
"That's what he said his name was," Luke said crossing his arms over his chest. Obi-Wan nodded but he didn't say anything for a while.
It can't be him? can it? Obi-wan looked at Luke who was looking down at his hand. Maul wants Ben. Why does he want a youngling? He can't be that powerful, can he? Obi-Wan sighed and nodded.
"We need to keep him safe," Luke said after a while. Obi-Wan nodded however he still didn't say anything for he was lost in thought. "Mara needs to be safe as well," Luke added.
"I need to be safe? Luke…I can take care of myself," Luke rubbed the back of his neck when he heard Mara behind him.
"Um," Luke said making Obi-Wan laugh a little.
"I'll leave you to talk. I think we are close to Coruscant," he said giggling. Luke sighed and watched him leave.
Ben looked up at his grandpa and smiled. However, it was forced. He knew that Anakin could tell. "Are you ok?" Anakin asked sitting down next to Ben. Ben shook his head.
"There's a Sith that what's me and I'm stuck back in time. What if…I can never see my family again. Or my friends?" Ben closed his eyes. This child reminded Anakin of himself when he was his age. If fact he kind of looked like him. So did Luke but Luke looked a lot more like him. He even had the same-colored hair and…
"Anakin, we are out of hyperspace," Obi-Wan's voice cut him out of his thoughts. He nodded and smiled.
"We are home," he said standing up and walking out of the room. Ben, however, felt the dark side a lot more strongly as they made their way to the planet. He knew that so did his father and mother.
