X-men disassembled

Genosha was once a proud island, but now the once great nation lay in ruins after a devastating attack by sentinels, Xavier and Magneto's task was to rejuvenate the island restoring the islands once great splendour. Along with Callisto and Shola, and two new mutants Wicked and Freakshow, progress had been made and the future of Genosha once again looked bright.

Occasionally Unus and his gang caused trouble, but mostly the rebuilding had gone to plan, however as the island grew bigger, Xavier had became more and more secluded talking to apparitions of his old love Moira and spending more time in the shadows. Magneto sensed Xavier's increasing despair and decided he would find out what was bothering his friend.

"Charles, I sense increasing distress around you, what's bothering you?" Erik asked.

"Erik, it's my x-men I see a great evil force rising soon, and I've left my x-men alone in their darkest hour, how could I have done this" replied Charles, "Erik I must get back at once"

"Charles for the last 20 years you've taught the x-men, watch them grow, now they must learn to fend for themselves in a world that hates them, the residents of Genosha need you more than the X-men" retorted Magneto.

"But I sense this threat and it reminds me of Thunderbird, it reminds me of Psylocke and Jean and all others who have died for the cause, these people each and every one of them are like my children I can't let another one down, I must return"

Kitty, Logan Emma Frost, Beast and Cyclops were celebrating Colossus's return, after the team thought he was dead for so long, they were happy to see him back. Returning to the mansion in the X-jet they told him what had happened in the years he had been gone and recounted all stories. However as they got back to the mansion they found it in ruins. Ord the monster from Breakworld had rampaged through the mansion. The team minus Colossus who was still shocked at being alive started to search for the students.

Kitty was walking along the corridor when she stumbled across a young mutant named Wing; he was lying in a heap on the floor and bleeding heavily from his lips. He started to cough loudly and he coughed up blood, Kitty ran towards him, and lifted his head up. By the looks of things Wing hadn't got much time left.

"th the cure" he whispered coughing up blood "I wasn't mea meant to fly" he said before he closed his eyes. Kitty screamed, she had seen death before but still it always shocked her, it was times like these she wished she had stayed retired instead of rejoining the x-men.

With the rest of the children being found safe or in some cases minor injuries, that evening the X-men called an emergency meeting in the danger room. After several long hours and much deliberation the team realised the cure was a threat to all mutants worldwide, they agreed to call both the X.S.E and Rouge's teams before taking any other action, the rest of the X-men would be back at the mansion as soon as they could came the reply.

Later that night Emma and Scott lay together in their room thinking about the day's events, Emma rested her head on Scott's chest, and started to breath heavily.

"I swear whoever harmed my girls, the stepford cuckoos, they will pay with their lives" cursed Emma.

Scott comforted his partner and he wrapped his arms around her she eventually fell asleep. Scott lay awake thinking about the days events and how he would put them right, He was just about to dose off when he heard a loud and violent scream coming from inside the mansion.
