She was flawless. Ivory skin, raven hair, amethyst eyes. A delicately featured face, full lips, pointed nose. She would fetch a good price. Of course Master Ethan never intended to sell her. It took generations of breeding to produce such a fine specimen, and one so perfect was very rare. Master Ethan was desperately trying to find a way to preserve her beauty. Ironically he didn't pay much attention to her. He didn't even know her name.
She wasn't sure if it really was her name. His friend Lord Dorian called her Eden. "Why do you call me Eden?" she asked once.
"Because it is your name." he replied.
"Master Ethan never calls me that." she pointed out.
"What does he call you then?" he asked.
"I don't know..."
That was when she began to realize things. When she began to think. Maybe she wasn't so perfect after all.
A/N-I'm just playing around with the whole idea of how the perfect pet should be beautiful and not question anything. Like once she began to think it ruined her. It was her imperfection. Yeah o0
