Evie was soon humming a soothing song as Henry was lying unconscious in a bed cot at the campground after they had left Skull Rock.
"Gold is in a box? Then David can never leave the island." Mary Margaret remarked in dismay.
"Mary Margaret, that doesn't matter," David reminded his wife. I've already made peace with that. What matters is Henry," he added before facing Regina. "How much time do we have left?" he then asked the dark-haired woman.
"Maybe an hour before the preservation spell wears off." Regina replied as Evie comforted Henry.
"We better be quick about it then." Evie suggested.
"If he's airborne, he could be anywhere on the island." Neal said thoughtfully.
"An hour isn't much time. I suggest we get started looking." Killian replied.
"But what about Goldie and the others?" Evie then asked.
"We might have to go on without them," Killian advised. "Even if I promised Harry I wouldn't let anything happen to him in Neverland this time."
Regina ignored Killian's suggestion and soon stomped over to Felix. "Where is he?!" she then firmly demanded to the bigger and tallest boy of the Lost Ones group.
"Gone. There's nothing you can do," Felix smirked smugly in response. "He's already won. Pan never fails~"
"You won't talk? How about I make you talk?" Regina glared as she then moved to rip out of his heart only to be stopped by her daughter.
"MOM! No." Evie said as she tried to stop her mother.
"Wait." Emma added, looking glad that Evie stepped in like that.
"There's no time!" Regina retorted to both Evie and Emma.
"I don't think torture is our best move here. Look at these kids," Emma advised the dark-haired woman. "They've been to hell and back. We need to try something else." she then reminded and suggested.
"Yeah, we tried the cute and cuddly. They don't respond to reason," Regina retorted and scoffed. "What else do you have to offer?"
"I know what they want and what they also need... like what you did for Henry, Mom," Evie said softly as she looked at The Lost Ones. "They need a mother."
"I think Evie might be right." Emma agreed.
"So what should we do since my daughter apparently has better ideas than I do?" Regina soon asked as she crossed her arms in frustration and annoyance.
The others looked thoughtful and then looked over at Evie for an answer.
"Really? You're asking me?" Evie asked before shrugging. "Okay... Whatever."
"So what do you think, Evie?" David asked. "How do you think you talk with a Lost Boy or Lost Girl?"
Evie paused thoughtfully before nodding. "That's just it, Mr. Nolan. We'll talk to them." she then suggested.
"Alright, we'll try that out." Emma agreed.
"Great idea, Evie." Mary Margaret added with a smile.
"Definitely." David nodded.
"Heh... Sorry, Mom." Evie smiled bashfully at her mother.
"Think nothing of it." Regina rolled her eyes in response.
"And I think I know just what to say." Emma soon said as she sounded motivated.
And at that, they decided to do what Evie suggested and talk things out with The Lost Ones who they had surrounded along with Wendy who was sitting by the fire. Neal decided to watch over Henry while Evie would join Emma's side and talk to The Lost Ones.
"Guys, listen to me. We are not going to hurt you. I know you're loyal to Pan and I get that, but you are making a terrible mistake," Emma told the group. "For a long time, I thought I was never gonna find my family. I was an orphan like all of you. A lost girl. And I was reminded today that I am not alone," she then added before looking at her parents. "That I have a lot of people who love me."
David and Mary Margaret smiled at each other from that.
"And I never thought that was gonna happen," Emma then continued as she looked back at the group. "If that can happen to me, it can happen to you."
"I already lost a father and I can't lose my little brother," Evie added. "So please help us and then we can help you and maybe find you a new family."
"Pan is the only family we need." Felix retorted coldly.
"No, family doesn't do what he did," Emma said, shaking her head. "Pan lied to you and made you do terrible things. He lied to Henry and convinced him to give up his own heart!"
"To save the island." A young Lost Boy named Koda spoke up.
"No, to save himself." Evie countered.
"Don't listen to them," Felix told The Lost Ones around him. "Pan cares about all of us."
"No, he doesn't. We care about you. And we can save you," Emma insisted. "We can take you home with us. To our land."
"There's no reason to fear Pan anymore," Evie added. "Until he absorbs the power from Henry's heart, he can be stopped."
"You just have to tell us where he is." Mary Margaret soon concluded for both Emma and Evie.
"Leave now while Pan still allows you to breathe." Felix retorted as he stood up suddenly.
Killian then forced Felix back down with his hook hand, having to do that to Harry several times in the past.
"That's the only hope you'll get." Felix then added firmly.
Evie narrowed her eyes as she got in Felix's eyes as bravely as she could. "Where is Pan?" she asked him, nearly sounding like her mother in a firm tone of voice.
"Not. Telling." Felix stated as he looked her back in the eyes.
"Can you really bring us home?" Koda soon asked, sounding very hopeful.
"Shut your mouth!" Felix snapped at him.
"Yes, with your help." Emma reassured the young boy as she knelt down to his height.
Koda looked at her before he soon answered. "His Thinking Tree." he then revealed to the blonde woman.
"No!" Felix cried out in horror.
"Yes, his Thinking Tree." A second Lost Boy added.
"Stop it! All of you!" Felix snapped at the rebellion of The Lost Ones.
"What is that?" Emma wondered.
"That's where he goes when he wants to be alone." Koda explained.
"You can find him there. It's not far." The second Lost Boy added.
"No, don't trust them!" Felix snapped.
"Can you tell us where that is?" Evie asked Koda gently.
"But you have to swear..." Koda began to say to her. "Swear that you'll take us with you."
Emma smiled tearfully and comfortingly. "I promise. We are going home."
"All of us," Evie added and nodded. "Now where exactly can we find this Thinking Tree?" she then asked.
"It's around where Pixie Hollow used to be." Koda informed the blue-haired girl as Wendy placed a rag on Henry's forehead and Neal came by the camp.
"Pixie Hollow?" Regina soon asked. "That's where he is?"
"It's just north of here," Koda explained. "It's where the pixie dust used to grow."
"You know where that is?" Emma asked Killian after she stood up to face the adult pirate.
"Aye. The whole region is deserted now." Killian informed her.
"No one but Pan has set foot in those woods in centuries," Samantha added. "Folks say that the fairies were evacuated, though considering Reul Ghorm was one of them, they could be in Storybrooke right now."
"Reul Ghorm?" Emma asked curiously at the sound of that name.
"She's probably better known as The Blue Fairy." Samantha replied.
"AKA Mother Superior." Evie then noted.
"Then let's make history and go into those woods." Neal suggested.
"We're gonna need you here," Emma told Neal. "Once we get Henry's heart, it's gonna be a race back. We need help on both ends."
Neal paused before nodding. "Okay." he then decided.
"What do you need from us?" David asked the other man.
"Let's gather up the Lost Ones. Get 'em aboard The Jolly Roger," Neal explained as The Lost Boys grinned excitedly at each other. "Prepare the ship to fly."
"What about the other mermaids that Carla was apart of?" Evie wondered.
"We'll worry about them later." Neal replied.
"Let's hope you have a Pegasus sail," Killian then said to Neal. "Otherwise, we're at the mercy of the trade winds."
"Pan's Shadow is in here," Neal reminded the adult pirate as he held up the coconut. "It'll get us home, long as your ship holds together."
"As long as your plan holds together, she will." Killian agreed.
"Henry's gonna be with me the entire time," Neal said as he faced Emma, Regina, and Evie. "Nothing is gonna happen while you three are away."
"You mean four," Mary Margaret spoke up as all eyes turned to look at her. "I may be trapped on this island for the rest of eternity, so if you think I'm not going to be spending my last moments with my daughter, you're crazy." she then added.
"Okay. Let's do it." Emma soon said out of determination.
And at that, they were about to head off when they heard rustling from the bushes. Everyone looked over and soon saw someone fall out and hit the ground with a high-pitched grunt.
"Dee Dee, what are you doing here?" Evie asked the young girl out of shock and concern.
"I got lost..." Dee Dee sniffled and stood up as she rubbed her arm.
"Oh, sweetie, are you hurt?" Mary Margaret asked Dee Dee, unable to resist checking over the young girl as her maternal instincts clicked.
"No, I'm fine." Dee Dee reassured her teacher and promised.
"You got separated from the others? Come here..." Evie cooed. "We were just on our way to Pixie Hollow. The Lost Ones told us that we can find Pan there and maybe save Henry."
"Why is Henry taking a nap?" Dee Dee asked as she looked over.
"It's a long story," Evie said. "Here, you can come with us while we visit this Pixie Hollow place. Tinkerbell will also be there."
"Okay... I think I'd like that..." Dee Dee nodded as she took Evie's hand.
"Come along then, Dee Dee," Evie said with a small smile while taking Dee Dee's hand as well. "I'm sorry you got separated from the others, but it'll be okay again very soon."
"Yes, come along now, kiddo," Tinkerbell added. "It'll be nice to go back there again after I had been exiled as a fairy." she then sighed and frowned to herself.
"My mama's a fairy too," Dee Dee piped up. "Her name is Nova."
"Nova always wanted to become a fairy godmother and now she's your mama? That's lovely." Tinkerbell remarked with a small smile.
"Oh, you know Sister Astrid-I mean Nova from Storybrooke, Tinkerbell?" Evie asked curiously.
"Of course, dear, don't you know? All fairies know each other," Tinkerbell remarked and nodded. "We'll talk more about that later though, it's time for you to get going."
"Yes, of course." Evie nodded at the former pixie.
Dee Dee smiled hopefully as she took Evie's hand as they went into the woods to look for The Thinking Tree.
Soon, the group continued to travel until they found a certain spot that seemed to be what they were looking for.
Regina then found Pandora's box sitting on a rock. "Look." she then pointed out.
"It's Mr. Gold's box." Dee Dee added.
Emma then took out her sword as they all approached the tree. Mary Margaret then set aside her bag of arrow shafts on the ground and moved to take the box.
"Careful," Regina then said, causing the short-haired woman to stop. "Pan wouldn't have just left it behind for no reason."
"It's David's only way home," Mary Margaret insisted. "Without Gold, we're stuck here-" she then added and tried to grab the box, but the vines ensnared her from behind suddenly, was flung against the tree, and tied in place by the vines.
"Mary Margaret!" Emma yelped before she, Regina, and Evie were dealt the same fate, leaving Dee Dee all alone, causing Emma to drop her sword in the process.
"Oh, no!" Dee Dee gasped for them.
The four soon struggled in the vines, but were unable to get out. Dee Dee soon walked over and tried to pull on the vines, but of course, she wasn't strong enough.
"Are you still at it?" Peter's voice soon asked from behind.
Dee Dee squeaked out of fear before looking over her shoulder. "Peter Pan..." she then whispered and trembled nervously.
"You're a smart girl, but you all should know better," Peter taunted before he picked up Emma's sword. "Peter Pan never fails."
"You can't have Henry, you big fat dummy!" Dee Dee then glared as she hid behind the tree for her own protection before blowing a raspberry at him.
"I'm not fat and I didn't expect you to find me," Peter retorted in annoyance. "Then again, I shouldn't be surprised. You're mothers and a big sister. Quite tenacious about your off-spring and little brother. Believe it or not, I understand that, but if you're looking to see Henry again, I have to tell you there's only one place you'll be reunited... in death."
"No..." Dee Dee gasped and cupped her face in horror for Regina, Emma, Mary Margaret, and Evie.
Angered, Regina glared at him and hassled against the tightly bound vines.
"Having trouble moving? Not surprised, given where you are," Peter taunted his victims. "You see, what's hastening your demise is your regret."
"What are you talking about?" Emma glared.
"This tree is the site of a very important event for me," Peter explained as he looked up at his Thinking Tree. "I abandoned my boy here."
"You have a son?" Evie asked out of disgust.
"I'm older than I look and I know I have another child out there somewhere in the realms of magic because I got very close with The Blue Fairy at one point," Peter clarified and smirked. "So I'm very sorry, my dear, you are much too young for me." he then added with a wink.
"Ew." Evie wrinkled her nose.
"If you have children, you must regret losing them, too." Emma soon said.
"But I don't. Quite the opposite, actually," Peter countered as he picked up the box. "See, I have one of them all boxed up so I don't lose him again."
"Rumplestiltskin is your son?" Regina asked out of disbelief.
"That he is." Peter nodded.
"Peter Pan is Henry's great-grandfather?!" Evie gasped in even more shock at that realization. "What even IS normal anymore?"
"I'm still trying to get over the shock that Henry's grandfather is Rumplestiltskin." Emma remarked to Evie.
"How's that possible? You're-" Mary Margaret began to demand from Peter.
"Younger than him? Not really," Peter smiled evilly. "Just like you and your daughter."
"You're a fraud. Your magic is weakened," Regina retorted. "You can't even hurt us; let alone Rumplestiltskin."
"You're right, but that's why I'm here. This tree will protect me 'til my power's restored," Peter explained darkly. "And then, well... then I get to have some real fun. Then I won't ever have to worry about my child again. Something we will all soon have in common~"
Emma glared as she lunged out at him, but failed because of the vines. "There has to be another way." she then glowered at the ageless boy.
"You're not going to get to me," Peter retorted. "See, this tree attacks the regret inside anyone who comes here, and you, you've got plenty. Especially the little Sugarplum Fairy over there." he then pointed at Dee Dee who kept hiding behind the tree because she felt like she was afraid of Peter Pan now.
"I regret not taking a better shot at you when I had the chance." Emma retorted firmly.
"That's not all, is it, Savior? No. I have your son's heart inside me," Peter scoffed. "I can feel just how much you let him down time and time again."
"Leave her alone." Mary Margaret demanded.
"Perhaps I should. After all, what chance did she have of being a good mother? Look at the example you set," Peter retorted mockingly. "Abandoning her for 28 years."
"Are you finished?" Regina glared in annoyance.
"Last words from the Queen," Peter noted. "Perhaps a deathbed confession from the one who has the most regrets of all with her princess beside her."
Evie just narrowed her eyes in response.
"Yeah, there's one problem with that. I did cast a curse that devastated an entire population," Regina retorted bravely. "I have tortured and murdered. I've done some terrible things. I should be overflowing with regret, but, I'm not," she then added before pulling herself, as well as her companions and daughter, freeing them all from the vines. "Because not only did it let me keep my daughter, it got me my son." she then concluded before ripping Henry's heart right out of the other boy's chest.
Peter suddenly collapsed on the ground and reached for the box, but Regina picked it up since it was too slow and weak.
"Now, let's go save Henry." Regina declared bravely as she held both Henry's heart and Pandora's box in her possession.
"Mom, that was awesome." Evie beamed.
"Never underestimate the power of a Mama Bear, my dear Evie," Regina smirked. "You'll understand someday when you have your own kids."
"Oh, believe me, I'm protective enough for my little brother." Evie nodded at that.
"Let's get out of here." Regina decided.
"Let's," Evie agreed before coming behind the tree. "...Dee Dee, you okay? We're leaving now." she then gently called to her little brother's best friend.
"I'm afraid of Peter Pan now." Dee Dee pouted and whimpered.
"It's okay, Dee Dee. He won't hurt you anymore," Evie coaxed as she tried to act like a big sister around her now. "We're going home very soon and we're gonna help Henry."
Dee Dee sniffled and hugged Evie by her waist suddenly.
Evie smiled as she hugged the younger girl and gently stroked her hair before they began to leave The Thinking Tree. "I wonder what Peter Pan has against Mother Superior though?" she then pondered.
"Sounds like they shared a history together we don't know about, but we'll worry about that later," Emma advised. "We better go back and meet the others before it's too late."
"Sounds good to me." Evie nodded at that as she helped walk Dee Dee back over.
Dee Dee looked down at Peter and attempted to kick him in the side as they walked by him as they left the remains of Pixie Hollow.
Peter grunted from the kicking, glaring darkly at Dee Dee for that as she began to get out of sight. He then looked over to see that the glowing Sundrop Flowers began to lose their glow and they almost seemed to be slowly dying. "EEEEEEEENIIIIID!" he soon shrieked out as his voice nearly echoed throughout the jungle.
On The Jolly Roger, Felix was being forced onto there along with the other Lost Ones.
"Did you hear something?" Jay asked Enid as they came aboard next after meeting and reuniting with Goldie and everyone else when they had split up earlier.
"I... I'm not sure, but... I sense a disturbance..." Enid replied softly before she hugged his shoulders. "I hope that Storybrooke can give me a better life than being The Girl in the Tower of Neverland."
Jay blinked and blushed from her hug. "H-Hey, no problem, really... It's gonna be okay, Enid," he then told her softly. "We're all gonna be just fine, you'll see."
"I sure hope so." Enid nodded with a hopeful smile.
Jay smiled back at her as he gently lowered her from his shoulders and began to help her get settled. He then smiled at her before turning around to see Neal and Goldie smirking a little. "...What?" he then asked them.
"Nothing~" Neal and Goldie said innocently.
"Whatever..." Jay rolled his eyes at them. "She's a good kid and I want her to be happy, especially in being in this place for such a long time."
"Well, we'll see what Storybrooke can give her, but we know it'll definitely be better than Neverland." Neal remarked.
"And how!" Goldie added as she nodded in agreement.
"Are we almost done here, Dad?" Harry asked his father.
"Aye, son. We'll be out of this death trap of an island before you know it." Killian reassured his son and nodded.
Harry beamed in relief, looking very hopeful.
"And so will you," Carlos told Carla. "I have a very good feeling about you coming back to Storybooke with us, Carla."
"I have a good feeling about this too, Carlos." Carla smiled.
"At least I was able to get one thing I always wanted." Carlos then started to say.
"What's that?" Carla asked him then.
"I've always wanted to find a way out of Storybrooke and explore and look for adventures," Carlos explained to her with a small smile. "That's been a goal of mine for a very long time now."
"Well, did you have a good adventure at least?" Carla asked.
"For the most part, I did, but I just know after an adventure like this one, it's gonna be so good to be back home." Carlos nodded.
Carla smiled at that, looking hopeful about what kind of world Storybrooke would be like, but it had to be better than Neverland, right?
"Henry?!" Emma's voice could be heard.
"Where is he?" Mary Margaret added.
"He's over here!" Neal soon called back.
Emma, Evie, and Regina then knelt down over Henry's body.
"Hold on, Henry." Regina said as she took Henry's heart until Evie grabbed her shoulder, causing her to face her teenage daughter.
"He's my little brother. Let me do it." Evie softly requested from her mother.
Regina nodded as that sounded fair. Evie nodded in return and soon pushed the heart back into the unconscious boy's chest.
"Henry?" Emma asked wearily as everyone looked on anxiously while Henry was remaining motionless. "Are we too late?" she then asked nervously.
"Henry? Honey!" Regina called warily.
After a few moments, Henry gasped to life. Relief soon began to flood his loved ones' faces as he sat up to hug both his mothers and his big sister.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Take it easy, buddy." Neal said, warning his son cautiously.
"I'm sorry," Henry softly said to the others. "I wanted to save magic."
"It's okay. It's okay." Emma said.
"I-I wanted to be a hero." Henry then added.
"Hey, there's plenty of time for that." David comforted his grandson with a small smile.
"Right now, it's time to rest." Mary Margaret added.
"Welcome back, young sir," Killian warmly told Henry. "Only the best for our guest of honor. Don't you think? Captain's quarters."
"Lucky..." Harry remarked.
"Now, now, Harry, you've had plenty of rest there yourself, let someone else take a turn." Killian advised his son.
"Well, all right..." Killian then shrugged and gave in.
"Come on, I'll tuck you in." Regina then told Henry softly.
"I'll even sing you a lullaby." Evie added.
Henry smiled warmly at that.
Henry was now resting on a bed in Hook's quarters as Regina and Evie kept him company.
"Oh, I know that look," Regina told Henry warmly. "That's five hours of Space Paranoids and too much pizza."
"Pizza's good." Henry smiled softly.
Regina laughed a little at that before she then placed an enchantment on Henry's chest.
"It stings," Henry winced until the glow from the spell faded away. "What's that for?"
"A spell. So no one can ever take your heart ever again." Regina informed him softly.
"Thanks, Mom." Henry said as he grabbed her hand.
Regina smiled and kissed him on the temple. "We'll be home soon, my little prince." she then said sweetly before leaving the room.
"Now, I believe I owe you a lullaby," Evie told Henry. "I've had this in mind for a while and I thought you would like to hear it right now."
"You have the best singing voice for lullabies, Evie," Henry smiled. "Even when you would help me go back to sleep when I was little and Mom had to be away for the evening and Ruby would watch us."
"Aww... Thank you for that..." Evie smiled back as she tucked him in a bit more. "Are you ready?"
"Ready as I'll ever be, I suppose." Henry replied.
Evie smiled as she hummed a little tune before she would start to sing for him. "I was just 6 when you came around, Had to make some room for the new boy in town, Princess or queen, didn't know my crown, I would be willing to hand you down~" she then sang while holding his hand to help soothe him a bit more. "You kinda broke my heart leaving me behind, The thought makes me scared out of my mind, And I didn't know how much I would hate you going far away, Growin' up can get old, But I hope you always know, You can call your sister, When it feels like no one understands, I'll be your secret keeper, When you can't tell Mom or trust your friends, I'll laugh when you laugh, cry when you cry, I'd drive eight hours through the night, If you ever need her or just miss her, You can call your sister~"
"I would happily call you." Henry said softly.
"Careful when you're riding up 49~" Evie continued to sing as she smiled at what he said to her. "There's always a mean group hiding behind the sign,, And if you ever wanna join mine, When Mom says she hates our friend groups she's lying, I've been where you are so I hope you always know, Don't trust a boy who plays false games, We won't trade you for magic or fame, Hate to watch you in pain or danger, But you can call your sister, When it feels like no one understands, I'll be your secret keeper, When you can't tell mom or trust your friends~" she then continued before she kissed his forehead warmly and headed for the door to give him some privacy as she began to finish the song. "I'll laugh when you laugh, cry when you cry, I'd drive eight hours through the night, If you ever need her or just miss her, You can call your sister~"
"Good night, Evie." Henry said with a small yawn.
"Good night, Henry." Evie smiled warmly as she shut the door behind her.
However, Peter appeared to be hanging from the door and jumped down from there, approaching Henry suddenly. "Your sister has a lovely singing voice." he then started to say.
Henry gasped and panicked once he saw who was in the room with him.
"I'm sorry it had to come to this, Henry." Peter then continued darkly as he took out a blade.
On deck, Neal released Rumple from the box as David, Emma, Goldie, Samantha, and Mary Margaret watched. He was then greeted by a smiling Neal.
"Bae." Rumple beamed as he hugged his eldest son.
"Papa." Neal smiled as he hugged his father back.
Goldie sniffled and smiled warmly at the reunion between Neal and Mr. Gold.
"Where's Henry?" Rumple soon asked.
"Don't worry, Mr. Gold. He's safe." Evie said as she stood beside Harry and Carla.
"Yeah, he's safe." Neal added warmly.
"I told you I wasn't gonna hurt the boy." Rumple then told his eldest son.
"I know. I'm sorry," Neal nodded before he glanced at his father thoughtfully. "Why didn't you tell me Pan was your father?" he then asked.
"Because I didn't want you to know I was as bad a father as he was, because we're both the same, me and him... because we both abandoned our sons." Rumple explained softly.
"Aw... Mr. Gold..." Evie cooed and pouted softly.
"No, you're not the same," Neal reassured his father. "You came back for me, Papa." he then added before they hugged again.
"He's back. That means..." Emma said softly before turning to her parents.
"He can cure me." David finished for Emma.
"We can go home," Mary Margaret added as she hugged Emma. "A family."
David smiled as he then hugged them next.
Dee Dee looked over at Rumple softly as she looked like she had something to say to him, but looked concerned as he seemed to sense something terribly wrong. "Mr. Gold, what's wrong?" she then asked softly.
"Excuse me, dearie... I have something to take care of... Stay up here." Rumple told Dee Dee tenderly and patted her on the head in a fatherly way.
Dee Dee looked soft and watched him go as she looked out distantly to the sea with a lot on her mind right now.
Below deck, Henry was being apprehended by Peter. "Wh-What are you doing?" he soon asked shakily.
"I wanted your heart, Henry, but your mother took it away from me and left me for dead. Her mistake," Peter smirked darkly as he attempted to pull out Henry's heart, but he was burned by Regina's enchantment. "Ugh! Oh, how clever." he then winced and scowled before he decided to tear into Henry's backside to try something else which was ripping out the boy's shadow.
"What are you doing?!" Henry yelped in pain.
Peter grinned as he was successful in pulling out the shadow partially, but was going to be stopped rather quickly.
"Blood magic works both ways, Father." Rumple taunted as he opened Pandora's box, intending to trap his father.
Peter still refused to let go of Henry's shadow even as the box began absorbing him away until he was forced to let go of the shadow. "NO!" he then cried out and was suddenly absorbed in the box.
"Henry? Henry? Henry!" Regina called out and soon reached his bedside urgently and carefully.
"It's okay. I'm okay." Henry reassured his adoptive mother calmly.
"Are you sure?" Regina asked him softly.
"He's a strong boy, Regina," Rumple reassured the woman. "You raised him well and young Evie is a wonderful older sister."
Regina looked soft at that and nodded.
Later on the higher deck of The Jolly Roger, Emma, Regina, Goldie, and Neal assembled in preparation to release the shadow as all the Lost Ones hurry aboard.
"Go." Mary Margaret said as she began to direct the kids on where to go.
Neal held onto the coconut containing the shadow over a cannon as Emma readied a lighter.
"You ready, Queenie?" Goldie soon asked.
"Watch it with the Queenie business, Goldilocks," Regina warned the blonde woman before nodding. "But yes, I'm ready." she then confirmed.
Emma then lit the cannon fuse. Just before it fired, Neal opened the coconut halves to free the shadow, who was then catapulted into the air by the cannon. Harry hid close behind Lonnie and Gil for his own sake and protection, but luckily Regina quickly used magic to force the shadow into the ship sail, which turned black.
"Way to go, Mom!" Evie cheered.
"You think it'll fly?" Emma asked Regina.
"It has no choice." Regina replied.
"Then let's get the hell out of Neverland." Emma nodded.
"As you wish, m'lady," Killian remarked before calling out as he took the helm. "Bosun, weigh anchor!"
Powered by the shadow sail, the ship lifted into the clouds and began flying them home.
"When there's a smile in your heart, There's no better time to start~" Goldie soon sang to help comfort the scared Lost Boys before she looked wide-eyed and smiled as Koda clung onto her. "Think of all the joy you'll find, When you leave the world behind, And bid your cares goodbye~"
Koda smiled back at Goldie as he seemed to grow attached to her in an instant as they were finally leaving Neverland for good.
"You know, when we first landed on this island, you said we would all need to work together." David said to his daughter.
"I was just trying anything." Emma explained.
"To be honest, I didn't think it was possible." David replied.
Nearby, Mary Margaret was giving out food servings to the Lost Boys.
"Hero, villain, pirate... that we could all be united, but we were because of the most important piece of the puzzle: a leader." David then said to his daughter softly.
"I'm just glad we were all able to work together and get Henry home," Emma replied. "Get all of us home."
On another part of the deck, Wendy was gazing into the distance along with Dee Dee and the teenagers when Tinkerbell approached them.
"Better than being in a cage, isn't it?" Tinkerbell asked Wendy softly.
"Are we really free?" Wendy asked the former pixie hopefully.
"Yes, Wendy," Tinkerbell nodded. "Soon you'll see your brothers."
"I have something for you. I saved it all this time. I could never use it, but maybe you can." Wendy then said as she brought out a vial.
"Is that what I think it is?" Evie asked Wendy.
"Yes. It's pixie dust. It's the last bit from the last flower in the treetops and not those Sundrop Flowers that Enid was forced to plant for Pan," Wendy nodded and explained. "It's inert-"
"I can't make it work," Tinkerbell interrupted with a frown. "I've got no magic. Not since I lost my wings."
"You'll figure it out," Wendy reassured the former pixie. "I believe in you, Tink."
"And I do too." Dee Dee added before clapping again.
Tinkerbell blinked and chuckled warmly in amusement at what Dee Dee did. Jay seemed to put his arm around Enid as they looked out into the sea before Harry did the same with Carla.
Carlos looked at them softly before sighing at himself. "Jane..." he then whispered and blushed a little.
Neal and Goldie stood together until they looked over and noticed that Henry was wandering around on deck.
"Hey. Feelin' okay?" Neal asked his son. "Shouldn't you be resting?"
"We could bring you some food if you're feeling up for it," Goldie added and offered. "Although, I know a better recipe for porridge based on personal experience."
"I'm feeling much better now," Henry told them both. "I think the fresh air is good for me."
Neal soon looked soft and came closer. "Henry, I know we haven't had much of a chance to be a family; not yet. I want you to know that you have a dad now, now and forever," he then advised his son. "I'll never leave you, okay, buddy?"
Henry nodded at that while Goldie looked soft at both of them as they embraced.
Nearby, Tinkerbell soon walked up to Regina and Evie. "I'm glad you got your son back, Regina. Seems The Evil Queen was able to love someone, after all."
"Yes, it seems," Regina admitted and nodded. "Seems you were right."
"And we'll help you find your daughter, wherever she is." Evie added.
"I knew you still had some good in you," Tinkerbell said to Regina. "Apparently, you still have some magic in you."
Soon, they all looked at the vial of pixie dust, which glowed briefly.
"What... what happened?" Tinkerbell asked softly.
"If I had to guess, I'd say for a minute there, you believed." Regina inferred.
"Neverland is fueled by belief after all, isn't it?" Evie added.
Tinkerbell smiled fondly at both Evie and Regina, feeling thankful enough to trust them.
Meanwhile, Rumple came to check on Dee Dee. "Don't worry, dearie. You'll be back home to your dwarf father and fairy mother before you know it and you'll be able to have more and more ballet dances to dance to." he then advised the young girl.
"Thank you, Mr. Gold... Uh... Mr. Gold? Can I talk to you for a minute?" Dee Dee nodded before she began to look inquisitive for a moment.
"Erm... Well, all right, of course you can..." Rumple replied softly.
Dee Dee looked around before taking a deep breath and looking down away from him. "I'm sorry, Mr. Gold. I can't go on like this," she then said, starting to sound like a dramatic soap opera actress. "I mean, it's not like we never had any good times... We definitely didn't have any bad times, you gave me that nutcracker when I asked for it and I gave you a flower... You came to see my show and it meant a lot to me to have you there, it's just... I think I need to pursue other ideas and options."
Everyone else overheard what Dee Dee was saying, but didn't say anything that might embarrass the 11-year-old girl.
"Dee Dee, what are you saying?" Rumple asked Dee Dee.
"Please don't hate me, but... It's not me, it's you," Dee Dee sighed as she looked at him again. "We can still be friends of course, but it's probably best if we both move on. I'm sorry, Mr. Gold, but... I'm breaking up with you."
Rumple looked a bit wide-eyed while Regina looked like she was trying very hard not to laugh. "Dee Dee... I'm vexed... is there another man?" he soon asked.
Henry was then shown picking up a plate of food and made his way over to Felix. He then held it out for the older boy, but Felix didn't take it.
"Yeah... Your grandson..." Dee Dee then nodded and smiled softly at her childhood best friend. "I just hope you understand."
"...I understand, Dee Dee, but don't let your heart go unloved for other people such as Henry." Rumple said softly and maturely.
"I could say the same about you, but also for that lady who works in the library, Miss Belle," Dee Dee replied gently. "We can still be friends of course."
"Thank you, Dee Dee," Rumple nodded. "I admire your maturity."
"I would rather you try to be happy with her and maybe I could go and see how Henry feels," Dee Dee told him warmly before she took his hands and was about to kiss them until she turned away and closed her eyes. "No, I can't... It's too soon..." she then said before letting go of his hands and walked away back to the edge of the ship to look out as Neverland began to fade away from the clouds as they got higher in the sky as a bottle seemed to be dropped from The Jolly Roger and into Mermaid Lagoon down below.
Rumple looked soft, but allowed Dee Dee to go as Regina stood next to him with a small smirk.
"Did... Did you just get dumped by an 11-year-old?" Regina asked Rumple out of amusement.
"Quiet." Rumple hissed in response to that.
