The Nazgul

The servants of Sauron appeared

The Nine, they were, the Nazgul

Neither living nor dead

There were none whom they feared

Excepting the heir of Elendil.

Great kings of Men they once had been

Until into shadow they fell

Masters of terror to all, they seem

Bring darkness and despair to all I deem

In Minas Morgul they dwell

Nine rings of power they had been given

And blinded by greed they took them

The ringwraiths they are, feared by the living

Ulari, they are, by fear they are driven

Until darkness and despair ensnare them.

When Frodo fails they fly so fast

Yet they meet their end when the ring

Into Orodruin is cast

Darkness ended at last

And the Eagles at last will now sing.
