A scream tore through the night. The girl sat up startled. Darkness was all around her. She tried to call out but no words would come. Fear poured over her. She wanted to get up and run, but her body wouldn't move.
Another scream echoed through the darkness. Arms encircled her, and lifted her up. Suddenly the truth became terrifyingly clear. ' The person who is screaming is me. I don't know who I am.' The dark cloud around her grew and her mind slowly slipped away into nothingness.
