Sorry to leave you hanging on the last chapter. I am so proud of myself. This is the quickest I have ever updated. I know that isn't saying much, but whatever. Anyway here it goes.

Chapter 4.
My eyes opened. I was in some sort of campsite. No one was around. I racked my brain trying to remember something, anything to tell me who or where I was. I heard voices coming closer. A women came running into the clearing. She stopped dead and stared at me.
" Katsu?" She asked disbelievingly. As soon as I heard her voice memories came flooding back into my brain. This women was Sango. I was in her friends campsite. They had rescued me. But there was one thing I couldn't understand, why Sango was looking at me like I had come back from the dead.
" Where have you been?" She asked breathlessly.
" What are you talking about?" I asked. While we were talking, The others in the group came running up.
" Katsu!" Shippo screamed, as he came flying at me. The rest of them stood back and gave me odd looks.
" You disappeared last night." Miroku said. " We have been searching all around for you. Where did you go?" His words astonished and confused me. What happened? " Look." I said. " I remember going to sleep right here, and waking up just a few minutes ago. I didn't 'go' anywhere." I firmly believed what I just said. But they all disbelieving looks on their faces.
" Listen." Inuyasha said in a matter of fact manner. " You were not here last night. You had to have gone somewhere." I couldn't see why they couldn't understand what I was saying.

The manner of my friends had changed toward me. They were where around me and I could tell they didn't trust me like they used to.
We started traveling again. A few days later we arrived at a large village. Miroku was performing one of his supposed exorcism, in exchange for a place to stay. While he was doing that, Kagome sent me to get some food from the market. When I was paying I heard a voice from behind me. " Katsu?" It said. I turned. Behind me there was a tall man. He was about sixty years old.
" How do you know my name?" I asked dumbfounded.
" Don't you remember me?" He asked, smiling. " My name is Yamayashi." That name sounded so familiar, but I couldn't remember why.
" I was a friend of your husband. I met you at the wedding."
" What?!" I had never been so shocked in my entire life. I was married? The man didn't notice my surprise and went on talking. " So, you really don't remember me." He said. " I could never forget you or your husband Kanule." That got my attention. " Hold on." I said quickly. " What did you say my husbands name was?" He gave me an odd look. " I know I sound crazy, but I really need to know."
" Kanule." He said. As soon as he said that name, memories flooded my mind. Happy memories. I remembered a happy childhood, then there was a man named Kanule. I remembered gradually falling in love, and him proposing. Then came our wedding day. I was so happy then. I had no regrets.
Yamayashi spoke again. " I must say, I never expected to see you again. We all assumed that you died with the rest off them." He shook his head. " That was a terrible tragedy."
Fear built up inside of me. " What tragedy?" I whispered, not sure if I wanted to hear what he was going to say.
He gave me a searching look. " The fire Katsu. Don't you remember? It destroyed your entire village and everyone in it." I gasped. Images from my dream came back to me. The buildings burning, the people screaming. But this time I recognized one of the people. It was Kanule, my husband. My heart lurched. I tried to go to him. But just like before there was something holding me back. So I had to stand there and watch the flesh melt off his body, as he was incinerated.
I felt a tear run down my face. I shut my eyes tightly and tried to erase the horrible images from my mind. I heard a voice talking to me. It was faint and sounded like it was in a different world. I opened my eyes and saw Yamayashi looking at me sympathetically.
" I'm sorry I brought up the subject." He said. I nodded. Suddenly the expression on his face changed dramatically, from sympathy to puzzlement. " There is one thing I'd like to ask you Katsu." He said.
" What is it?" I asked.
" Well, I don't understand why you look the way you do." He said.
" What?" I was very confused. This was not what I expected him to say.
" Well the fire was forty years ago. But you still look as young as you did then." My mouth dropped open in surprise. Was suggesting that I was really at least sixty years old? How could that be?
" Thank you." I said. " You have helped more then you know." With that I turned and ran out of the market. I could hear him yelling behind me, but I didn't stop. How could I explain everything to him?
My thoughts were whirling around in my brain. This left so much unanswered. How could I still be so young after forty years? What had happened to me during that time? Why couldn't I do anything to help the people in my village during the fire? And how did I escape the fate of those people? I was more confused then ever.

Yeah I know it was short, but I'm trying to draw it out. There will probably only be about three or four more chapters. Anyway review please.
