A/N: Hi guys, I'm back. I was so happy to see the comments. *.*

Thank you so much for still being around, and I hope you enjoy this chapter.

It's a short chapter, but please let me know if you liked it.

Chapter 8

Andy opened his eyes and thought he was in a dream, he hadn't felt this happy in a long time. He was hugging Sharon and he could hear her soft snoring. Smiling, he couldn't resist kissing her neck gently.

The Captain shifted and Andy groaned as it affected him, they were fitted together as best they could. Knowing he would have no control over his desire, the Lieutenant didn't let himself be shaken and gently slid his hand from her waist and cupped her bare breast.

Sharon moaned this time and he knew she was awake and to show this, she rubbed herself against him and Andy bit his shoulder.

"Good Morning". Sharon whispered and he knew she was enjoying herself. "You look excited".

"Good morning, Sharon". Andy kissed her cheek. "With you I can always get excited".

"Promises..." She said and a shiver of pleasure ran through her as his silly hand touched between her legs.

"I love feeling how wet I make you". He whispered in her ear. A shiver ran through her when she heard his husky, deep voice and Sharon just groaned.

"I want you". She pleaded and closed her eyes as she felt his fingers slide deeper.

Without waiting for the next step, Sharon spread her legs wider and leaned on his hips, thus leaving the way free for him to do whatever he wanted with her. Understanding well what she wanted, Andy lined up and in one lunge entered her, both of them groaning now very happy to be connected.

"If I had known this would be this good, I would have tried to get to you sooner". He grunted as he rocked his hips gently.

"You speak as if I would be carried away by your charms". She replied and leaned back taking him deeper.

"We're here now, aren't we?"

"Don't get cocky, you're only there because I want to". She said and closed her eyes when the pleasure was a little too much. "Faster, Andy".

Andy smiled, knowing she was serious, Sharon wasn't a woman who got carried away with small talk. So, he knew he would have to thank God for being like this with her, feeling her around him, whimpering with the pleasure he was giving.

"I'm so close". She whispered. Andy wouldn't take long to reach the apex either, but he needed to see her face. He needed to see those green eyes shining.

Then he got out of her and turned her onto her back on the bed, her protest was loud in the room, but she didn't have time to complain too much, as he was on top almost immediately, opening her legs and entering a powerful blow that made her arch and scream his name.

For a moment, he didn't move, she was shivering and panting beneath him. Andy then began to rock his hips gently pulling her back to where she wanted to be, sweet torture, but Sharon didn't seem to like this very much and she wrapped her big legs around his waist and pulled him deeper. Groaning at the new position, Sharon tangled her hands in his silver hair and guided his mouth to hers.

Andy sped up his thrusts and felt Sharon moan louder and this was enough for him to push even harder, it didn't take long for him to feel her shudder and him to spill inside her.

Still panting, the Lieutenant tried to pull away from her so as not to crush her, but Sharon wrapped him in her arms and he was now completely on top of her.

"Stay a little longer, okay?" She asked with her eyes closed and running her nails down his back.

"I'm crushing you".

"No, you are not". She whispered and kissed his forehead tenderly.

Andy didn't say anything, he was happy to be there in her arms and inside her, it was as if he had finally come home. They stayed that way until Sharon sighed and stared at him.

"I'm hungry". Andy looked at her in surprise, but then he started to laugh, her laughter accompanied him and he thought he could get used to this life.

Brenda was triumphant as she read Judith's file, that had been difficult and she'd had to use some valuable favors to get it, but it was finally there in her hand, and ok... Agent Cornwell helped too.

As she read the papers she started to add all the information on the whiteboard, she needed to organize all the clues to know the exact moment of the attack.

"Chief, I got the information about Goldman, he was at the event because of a deputy. According to my informant, the deputy needed a lawyer to sign a confidential agreement". Gabriel spoke excitedly. "I got a copy of the agreement".

The Chief was more than happy to have evidence in abundance, even if they weren't authorized to use the agreement. At least they could work on it.

"Okay... let's review what we have so far". She spoke and pointed to the new information. "Judith Mayor is actually called Judith Koren, daughter of an American mother and a Slovak father. Both parents lived in Slovakia, but Judith was brought to the US at age 13 after her parents died in a car accident".

"Let me guess. Did she meet Adrian I?" Provenza wanted to know.

"It says here that Mr. Adrian Lencastre I took in the young child because she was pregnant". Brenda sighed.

"So, she became loyal to them? Does she do everything just out of gratitude?" Tao commented.

"It's possible. We can see that she didn't disappear from the map like the first girl. Judith had a trouble-free life and became a government social worker". Brenda pointed to the dates on the board. "But in '98 she was fired".

"Which reason?"

"She tampered with documents in order for a child to be given to a family that had not been approved for adoption".

"My God... what happened to the child?" Julio asked shocked.

"Oddly enough, this was a good decision, the family originally chosen for the child was accused of child abuse". Brenda sighed. "She was right in her decision, but the government did not tolerate her action and she lost her social worker license".

"So the information on this Judith and Judith that the FBI uncovered doesn't correlate?" Tao asked.

"No". Brenda said with a gasp. "Judith's file was sealed and the little information we have on the two women has nothing to do with each other".

"Agent Howard helped?" Provenza smiled.

"We can say yes".

"He should work with us". Provenza provoked. "But tell me, after the dismissal, did she go to the Mo Mhíorúilt Agency?"

"Yes, since then she has been the company's greatest asset".

"Of course, she is". Julio muttered.

"However, we don't have enough to accuse her of anything, everything she's done so far is legal".

"And how are we going to catch them?" Tao whispered thoughtfully. "We have to find some loophole".

"Only if we get any victims". Brenda commented. "We will only have something if we find a victim willing to testify".

"The Captain and Lieutenant commented that the young woman who was assigned to them seemed more open to conversation at the last appointment".

"Well... we can wait or take a shortcut". Tao pointed.

"What do you mean?"

"We can find little Lila, she's a clue". He commented and the Chief could understand the reasoning, but they needed to find out where Chloe gave birth. If they didn't have a hospital of their own.

"Alright... let's split up to conquer. Gabriel and Julio get in touch with Francis and find out more about Chloe and what their friendship was like before Judith came into her life" The two Detectives nodded and grabbed their jackets. "Tao, go talk to Morales and find out if Chloe's body is still here and if there was anything out of the ordinary". The Lieutenant stated and rose to follow orders. "Lieutenant Provenza, you and I are going to review these documents and try to find something against them, one more time".

"Ok, Chief". The Lieutenant nodded and turned his attention to the papers in front of him.

"I'll ask Buzz..." She started and looked around the room, only to find the man laughing with Gavin. "But what the hell are those two doing?"

Provenza shrugged, but a passing officer looked at the blonde and whispered:

"They're looking at the photos of the Lieutenant and the Captain".

Brenda returned her gaze to the two men and rolled her eyes, as if the whole case wasn't bad enough she would have to deal with Gavin wanting to be matchmaker with the two officers who hated each other the most.

4 days later...

Sharon stretched out beside Andy, they were both on the same lounge chair after swimming for a while, these last few days had been a real honeymoon. As terrified as she was that this would continue, it was nice to have that time to get to know each other better and find a way to deal with the Precinct when news of their relationship got around.

"What do you say about lasagna? I can even make the pasta". Andy spoke while kissing her cheek.

"Tempting, but if you keep stuffing me with pasta and all this Italian food, I'm going to have to be hauled out of here on a crane".

"Like you need to worry". He whispered and kissed her, the silly hand slowly came down and squeezed her ass.

"Keep doing that and we won't have lasagna". She whispered and bit his lips.

Growling, Andy turned her around and started kissing her even more deeply, showing her that lunch plans would be forgotten anyway. However, Sharon's cell phone decided to break the mood and both moaned in frustration.

"Don't answer". He asked as he kissed her neck.

As much as she wanted to let Andy's lips roam over her body, as he had for the past few days, this could be an important call since they'd been at peace this whole time.

"I need to take this". She said with a groan as his hand squeezed her now bare breast. "Hello, Judith".

Knowing there was no point in moving on, Andy pulled away from her and began to pay attention to the conversation. Sharon then put it on speaker and they both listened to Judith ramble on about the importance of parents being present during appointments and exercises. That's why she was calling to invite them to Lamaze's class that was scheduled that afternoon. Confirming their presence, the Captain stood up and sighed:

"Time for work, Lieutenant".

Andy rolled his eyes but smiled at the playful glint she had in her green eyes, that was a charming side of her and the Lieutenant was delighted to discover it. Unwilling to leave the little paradise they'd created, Andy followed her into the house and they both started preparing for a quick lunch.

Sharon looked around with a small smile, they arrived at the clinic 30 minutes early and waited patiently at the front desk. The Captain watched with a little longing all the pregnant women around, some looked more tired than others, however the glow of carrying another life shone in all of them.

"Hey, are you okay?" Andy asked and sat even closer to her. "You're silent".

"Just remembering when it was me". She smiled and laid her head on his shoulder, who promptly pulled her closer to him. "They were good times".

"I remember them too, maybe not so happily, Sandra seemed to want to kill me most of the time".

"I don't know if I should relate to this or not".

"Hey". He pretended to be irritated. "I was good... it was just all those hormones that drove her crazy".

"Uh-huh..." She smiled, but Andy could see that she didn't believe a word of his.

"My dears, I'm so glad you're here". Judith's voice reached their ears. "Rachel was looking forward to seeing you".

As they faced the young woman, Rachel had her head down, very interested in her shoes, they both knew that Judith was just saying what they wanted to hear, because it was clear that Rachel was afraid.

"Well... we were immensely happy to hear about this class. Will be fun". Sharon grinned and all her futile woman's glee came through. Andy was still amazed at how quickly she got into character.

"Then I won't stop you anymore. I'll be back in an hour".

With that, a woman approached them and introduced herself as the teacher, she informed them that four more couples with the surrogate girls were waiting. And all the hopes they had that the clinic had nothing to do with Judith's agency went down the drain. Everything was confirmed when they entered the room and found four more young women looking terrified.

"I think we should be careful". Andy whispered just for Sharon to hear. "Maybe there's a bug around here".

The Captain couldn't deny that she was a little paranoid too, but they had to take a risk or they wouldn't be able to move forward with the case. And the sooner they got this sorted out, the sooner Rachel and the baby would be safe.

"Dia duit, Rachel?" Sharon Whispered as the three of them settled down. "How are you?"

"I'm fine". She spoke with a small smile. "The baby is doing well".

"That's great, honey". Sharon spoke and took a deep breath before speaking once more in Irish, she had practiced and studied the language while she was in the house, she hoped the girl would understand and open up more. "An gcaitear go maith leat?"

Andy stared at her confused and she turned to him and whispered that she was asking if the shelter was treating Rachel well.

"Is ea". The girl whispered and Sharon felt relief take over, finally the young woman was opening up. "But we must not speak in that language, they will know".

"Alright, we don't want to get you in any trouble". Andy smiled gently at her and for the first time in their presence, she relaxed.

The next few minutes were done in silence with only the teacher's instructions. None of them willing to risk compromising conversations.

"Rachel..." Andy began in a whisper. "You'll tell us if they try to hurt you, won't you?"

The young woman turned white with fear, it was clear she received threats and if they were correct in their investigations, she had been in captivity for months or maybe years, they didn't blame her for being terrified.

"They're great, there's nothing wrong with them. I'm fine". The sentences were frantic and Sharon took the girl's hand and squeezed it gently.

"It's okay not to want to tell. But you are safe with us". Rachel looked at Sharon still fearfully, but she could see in the Captain's green eyes that she was being sincere.

"I... I'm afraid they'll hurt me and the baby". Her whisper was so low, the two officers had trouble hearing it.

"We'll help you, okay? But only if you're ready". Sharon assured her and the girl nodded and relaxed once more.

Then suddenly she gasped and put her hand on her belly, immediately Sharon and Andy prepared for action, but the girl smiled and faced the two quickly.

"The baby is moving".

Well... that wasn't quite what they expected and Sharon closed her eyes trying to calm her fluttering heart after the scare. Andy seemed to do the same thing and they both smiled a little relieved not to have to act and blow the cover anytime soon. They looked at each other a little frantically.

"Do you want to feel?" Rachel asked pulling them out of the silent conversation they were having.

"Sure". Andy spoke and held out his hand to the young woman, waiting for her to guide him, Sharon did the same.

"Right here". Sharon felt the sting immediately and her eyes filled with tears, Andy placed his hand beside hers, but on second thought, he laced his fingers with hers, now they both felt the child's agitation. "That's your baby". Rachel said.

Neither of them said anything, but at that moment they let themselves pretend. Amid the excitement of the moment they were a happy couple expecting a baby that would fill their lives with more love.

And it was too tempting.

Sharon didn't want to admit that all of this was affecting her, it was as if this false life she was creating with Andy was her second chance to be happy. She was terrified now, because she didn't know if she'd have the courage to let it all go when the case was over. And when she met his chocolate eyes she could see the same doubt, they had fallen in love and now it was almost too painful to know they weren't the Bennetts.

Damn, they were screwed.
