Ashen Blade princess chapter 1 – reawakening and deluges
This chapter will get into Shirou awaking as Female Byleth as well as set up the other hero of this story
I will cover a mix of the golden deer and another route will be touched on by the 2nd lead
I will cover right around after the hero makes the choice which class to teach
Byleth pov
I was napping between a battle I took a major head injury; I was having a strange dream of a battle. in said battle, I saw a younger woman defeat an old man. But she seemed to do so in remorse. It was then I woke up full of strange vision and knew I needed to do certain things but wasn't sure exactly why I had to do these things just that doing them what bring the best outcome. I was then I had a coving of memories I wasn't sure were exactly things I remembered. What it felt like my mind began to split until I heard a new voice. Then the next thing I saw was a young girl with green hair on a throne that was sleeping. Then as she woke up, I noticed strange ears. She then stared at me and asked, "what brought you hear?" I replied to her "I think we are in my mind."The girl then showed me my imaged and I knew I was a woman of twenty years of age and my current name was Byleth Eisner and I was the daughter of Jeralt. But I also knew I used to be Shirou Emiya and wasn't sure this is the same world Shirou lived. I then told the girl my current name and that my birthday is on the eighth month of the year. Shockingly the young girl also shared my date of birth. It was then the girl began to fall asleep and that I woke up to the face of my father. Then I told him about most of my dream and parts of it seemed to give him reactions.
It was then we were about to leave for the next battle but at that time one of the rank-and-file men came in and told us we were needed. It was three rich looking teens that couldn't be much older than I was, and they needed our help with a bandit issue. My father seemed to know their uniform, but we needed to help them as soon as we could. My father and our forces quickly took out the enemy, but I could tell the link between my memories and the new spirit within me that woke up clearly weakened me. but I was able to still use my father's teaching but needed time to reconnect everything.
It was after we defeated the bandit leader and thought the battle was done, he got up and tried to attack one of the trios of rich teens. I then got in the way of the attack and then when I assumed I would die, time stopped and the next thing I knew I woke up in my mindscape with the green hair girl. She then insulted me and told me her name was Sothis. She then promised to guide me to keep myself and her alive. She then told me, she was only able to remember her name just now, I was guessing my memories as Shirou waking up were tied into that. By the way the girl talked I could tell she was much older than she looked. She then told me she saved me by stopping time. I then asked if she could also turn back time and how often she uses it. she replied, "for now I can only use the power a few times a day, but with your battle ability, I am guessing you can make use of those limits." I knew I could and I figured even now I could tap into a few items from my soul.
When time resumed, I countered the attack and made an opening to escape. With that some knight arrived and I knew it was safe to make my next move. I knew I needed to find one more person to help achieve a strange goal that I needed to do. I told my father and the knight to keep the group safe while I headed into the woods and promised to return to camp later. When Sothis asked what I was doing, I told her "There is somebody I need to find, this person is like us both as a reincarnation and has a being similar to you inside them. I may need your time powers one or two more times to win but this person will mater in our victory later." The girl seemed to understand and agreed to help me.
It wasn't hard to find this person using my special magical senses inherited from my former life. I found a purple haired girl wondering through the woods and remembered she was part of that group that left me with a few more injuries than I would have liked. But using only one burst of turning back time and the weapon Avalon within my soul, I was able to defeat her and force her to play as both my little sister and aid me in my mission. It didn't take long for me to learn this girl also used to be a man in her former life but the person she used to be seemed to die in a world being pruned by maybe the counterforce or maybe as it was pruned his soul entered the body of a dying version of the girl known as Shez. But with the promise of more training and a better life she was willing to aid me however I needed. I then brought her back to the base as I learned we would be heading to return the trio to their school at a monastery very soon.
It was after that, I talked with the three to learn they were the future leaders of the region being the kingdom, empire, and independent regions. The two boys seemed like they could be trusted but with the future empress, I felt trusting her would end in very bad places. The trio also told me more about my father than even I knew that he was known as the blade breaker and a former leader of the knight escorting us back. I also had Shez start telling her backstory to them as well. the trio also mentioned all three sides were thought together via and officers' academy. My display of power clearly made all three sides want me, but my bountiful breasts and toned body didn't hurt either.
I was pretty sure I would end up choosing the side of Claude since he best complimented my personality, and I would have Shez join Dimitri in some way since she would help him the most. But I would need to see the next part of the picture to decide. But I talked with the green haired girl in my mindscape about each option.
Then on arrival, my father was clearly leery about this place and clearly knew the leader of this church. On meeting the women, I noticed her hair color was the same as the little girl in my mindscape. During the talk between my father and the woman, I could just tell the two were talking around me about my birth and my mother like each knew more than they were letting on. I knew from the shards of memory I had that serving this woman would be best from this continent. Then after further talking to my father, I learned I would teach one of the three houses. But thankfully I could draw on some experiences from Waver Velvet and his teachings along with what Rin and Saber taught me help me try and teach.
When I met the other two teachers, I first told them that my sister would be learning with one of them. The male teacher explained her was a crest schooler and wondered if I had a crest of my own. I wasn't even sure what I crest was in his world but my connection to the spirit girl in my mindscape my have given me one. It was after that, the female teacher explained her roles and then the male teacher told me about how the classes are divided and how they are a mix of nobles and commoners.
I then had a chance to talk with the house leaders and again through that determined Shez would be perfect for the blue lions and made sure that Rhea would put her in that class while I took over the golden deer class. after I did, I got to meet Seteth's younger sister Flayn. Looking at the girl, I was sure she was older than she appeared.
It was after that. I greeted my class and informed them my younger sister would be part of the blue lions. On meeting my class, I got to learn who each was and learn one of the girls was a fan of my father. Then after that, I visited my sister's teacher and the crest scholar to see her there. He then scanned my crest followed by hers to reveal that Shez's crest was a lesser version of mine, but he didn't know what to call either crest yet. But very much wanted to see both of clash in the coming battle between the three classes very soon.
Chapter end
I am doing this chapter as an intro, and I will fully pick up the story at a later date. But the next chapter will cover the first battle as well as get into the abyss stuff and.
The week after next, I will return to Shirou and his sisters going to camp half-blood and dealing will more chaos at the camp
But first the party will be reunited on the verge of war as I use a new point of view to show what happens next
