Author's Note: Hello, dreamers! In this chapter, the Daydreamers will help the Sub Zero Heroes protect Baby Roshan from the Nightdreamers! The Daydreamers will have to use the power of music to defeat them this time! I wanted to use every individual Ice Age movie, but, since I can only do 12 movies a year, I'm on a tight schedule. When I was just thinking of these scenarios in my mind, I could use as many movies as I wanted, but now since I have a schedule, I have to leave some out. There's one more thing I need to talk about. I was re-reading some of book 1, and I realized I FORGOT TO USE A PLOT POINT! Rather than sweep it under the rug, I've decided to talk about it here. The reason Coletta and Cadenza got that flu bug in the last chapter was that they're connected to the Author, which is me, so they feel what I feel. During the early years of the story, they get sick at that time because I would always get sick around that time every year. I'm sorry I forgot to explain it, I just got caught up with writing the truth about the Author, and writing the finale. So, with that out of the way, enjoy!

Aurora let the man in from the cold and made him a cup of tea. "Now, can you explain what happened?" She asked.

"Yes, I can. We were in our world. Manny, Sid, and Diego had just reunited me with my son. After we parted ways, there was a rip in the fabric of the Multiverse. Our hotel room door was busted open, and we, along with the blizzard were expelled here. A Nightdreamer soldier called Soto took my son from me." Runar explained.

Aurora gasped. "He was the sabertooth who wanted to eat him in the first place! What plans do you think the Nightdreamer army has with him?"

"I was able to hear their plan. After he was taken, instead of trying to rescue him, and getting the both of us hurt, I decided to come to you for help. As I was slipping away, I heard Soto using a communication device to talk to someone. He said something about turning him into a Nightdreamer!" Runar said.

"Then we have to stop them!" Aurora said.

So the Daydreamers, along with the newly appointed Sub Zero Heroes, bundled up for the snow. When they got outside, they couldn't see any Nightdreamers yet.

"I don't know where they are!" Aurora said, using her hand to shield her eyes.

"There they are!" Lily said.

The sabertooth tigers emerged from the snow. Soto spoke first. "Daydreamers, we have Roshan, and if you want to see him again, you'll let us collect the Paragon Essence for this mission!"

"Never!" Aurora said.

"Alright, then, attack!" Soto said. The sabers ran towards the Daydreamers!

Everyone got into their fighting stances. All of a sudden, Lily heard Alessandria's voice. Lily... Use the Whisper of the Snow...

Mother? What does that mean? Lily thought, telepathically communicating with her mother.

Lilith will know... Alessia said before her voice faded.

What was that all about? Lily thought. She quickly ran to Lilith to ask her.

"Lilith, my mother just contacted me again. What does 'The Whisper of the Snow' mean?" Lily asked.

Lilith's eyes widened. "Th-that's a line from the song! Dire and I's song!" "I guess Alessia wants us to sing the song to defeat the sabertooths!" Lilith said.

Lilith and Lily stood side by side. The two of them sang Here Beside Me, and with every note, the snow melted more and more, and the radiant sun shone brighter and brighter.

When Lilith got to the line itself, the whisper of the snow, She felt as if Dire was next to her once again... When the song ended, all of the water from the melted snow began to lift up into the air!

"Now what's this?" Aurora asked out loud. She thought the Nightdreamers were planning something again!

The water began to transform into crystals!

"Are you kidding? More SNOW?" Esperanza asked.

But it wasn't snowing at all. All at once, the thousands of tiny crystals burst into glitter and began to rain down upon the Daydreamers!

"Essence! Pink Paragon Essence!" Lily said, running to catch it!

The Nightdreamers, on the other hand, weren't having such a good time! "Let's get outta here, Soto!" Zeke said that Aurora, Coletta, Cadenza, and Esparanza were coming towards them, looking very angry, and very sparkly.

"Alright, if you give us Roshan, we'll let you go back to your headquarters, but if you give us any more trouble, you're going to the Haventown Jail, just like the Trix!

"Alright, we'll go!" Zeke said, turning quickly to Soto. "Just give her the baby!" He whisper-shouted. Soto reluctantly gave in. Aurora gently took Roshan and handed him back to his father.

"My son, I'm so glad you're safe!" Runar said, hugging the baby.

As the sabertooth army was fleeing, Lily looked at Aurora. "I think I should try to save them!" She said.

"Yes, you should. I am sorry for trying to run them off." Aurora said.

Lily walked to the sabers before they were able to teleport home. "Guys, would you like to join the Daydreamers? You'd make great additions to the team!"

Soto walked up to Lily and calmly explained to her. "I won't join the heroes for one reason. Megan, with the help of her mother's spirit, showed me what happens to villains at the hands of heroes.

Flashback, to the Nightdreamers' lair...

"Soto! Zeke! Lenny!" the spirit of Morgana commanded. The three sabertooth tigers acknowledged their queen.

"Yes, your majesty!" Soto said, bowing his head.

"I have a new mission for you! You will bring me Roshan, one of the main heroes from Ice Age, so we can turn him into a Nightdreamer, like us!" Morgana's spirit said.

"It will be done." Soto ensured. He left the queen's throne room.

"Uh, Soto, can I talk to you for a second?" Lenny whispered.

"What is it?" Soto whispered back.

"We don't want to do this anymore," Lenny said.

"Who's 'we'? You and Zeke?" Soto asked.

"No, I mean me, Zeke, and all of the other sabers. We've been planning on talking to you about leaving this place!" Lenny said.

"Are you sure? I've been wanting to leave, too, but it'll just be too risky! Now that Megan has her mother's powers and the entire Nightdreamer army, it'll be too dangerous to just try and escape!" Soto said.

"I understand, but it's a risk I'm willing to take! Think about it! Those heroes wiped out half our pack, so we decide to seek revenge and take the baby! I just don't want to live in the cycle of revenge anymore!" Lenny said.

"Are you sure? We're risking a lot with this plan." Soto asked.

"I'm aware, but I want to do it!" Zeke said.

"Ok. I'll go talk to the others," Soto said. He turned around when he realized Randall was listening!

"Why are you talking about leaving?" Randall asked.

"Think about it! We're unhappy on the villains' side, and want to go to Haventown! You might've never heard that from a villain before, but there's a first time for everything!" Soto said.

"Listen, there's a reason we're trying to fight those people! Morgana and Megan want the Nightdreamer clones of us to fight the Daydreamer versions because of what happens to us at the hands of the heroes!" Randall said. "My version got beaten by a shovel, and you'll never believe what happened to you!" Randall explained.

"What does happen to us?" Soto was curious because they were summoned from their world before they met their fates.

"You die, Soto," Randall said.

Soto's eyes widened. "W-what do you mean I die?"

"After Manny, Sid, and Diego get the baby back, you, unfortunately, meet your end at the hands of some icicle. I-I didn't want to tell you, but I think you needed to know.

"Thank you for telling us. I don't think we want to go with those Daydreamers anymore..." Soto said...

Back to the present...

"Wow... I understand why you don't want to join us, but we're different. We're trying to make the Mansion of Lucidity a safe place for all villains and heroes. As the future queen, I want everyone to live together in harmony, forever!" Lily said.

"I understand. But I just don't know how to live in harmony with the same heroes who hurt my pack..." Soto said.

Runar walked up to him. "I forgive you. I'll admit, I don't want to because of what happened with Roshan, but since our quest is to unite the Daydreamers and Nightdreamers, I'll try to become friends with you."

"I will, too!" Sid said.

"I guess so..." Manny the stubborn mammoth said.

"Count me in," Diego said.

"Wow, this is just like Tex Richman! I didn't even have to use the staff!" Lily said. She turned to Soto, Lenny, and Zeke. "That means you guys are very special because you became good on your own!"

The sabers smiled, happy to be part of a new family. Soto stepped forward and bowed his head to the princess. "Lily, thank you. Being able to be part of this ever-expanding family has helped me move on from what happened to my pack years ago."

"You're welcome!" Lily said. She patted his head. Now, how many kids ever got to pet a real sabertooth tiger?

Runar turned to the Daydreamers. "Daydreamers, I don't know how to thank you! Especially Lily and Lilith! You saved my son!"

"That's what we do! We protect heroes, big and small!" Lily said.

"Alright, now let's go inside and warm up! Even though the snow's melted, it's still pretty cold!

So Lily, along with her newfound friends headed back to the Mansion of Lucidity!
