During a late afternoon, Sora and his band of friends, sneaked their way to the small island that he and his fellows of Destiny called home. The Twilight Town Trio had an ice box and some toys to make a fitting beach party possible and the Wayfinders had a hard time believing that the day was really over. Splash! "Shar!" Sea Fang popped his head out of the water and barked, as Azu waddled to the tree the Destiny Trio hangs out in and waved. The band looked around and tried to think of what to do as Roxas and Namine stepped out of their others, looking corporeal enough to partake in the party and smiling wide. Namine perked at Sora, who was still wearing the crown he earned, and cheered. "Let's go wild!"

With that, the group split off. Sora took off to the tree, feeling quite tired from his escapades and Kairi followed to give him company, Riku watched and found Dupmic and Ken finding a wide space in clear view of the shore and taking off for something. Roxas, Namine and Xion went off to the shore, finding Shooter helping Crinoid waddle to Stitch and asking about what kind of things he and the Seafarers found in his travels. Hayner took a frisbee and called Roxas. "Hey, catch this!"

Fling!

Roxas turned and found the frisbee going over head, he leaped to catch the disk and toss it back in style, the trio's eyes followed the disk towards the shore and took off as their friend found himself landing to the water. He felt he landed on something smooth and sailing, his hand was on a back fin and his eyes looked down to find Sea Fang smiling at him. The Sharpedo spun around and rushed to the shore, giving Roxas a momentum to get back to the sand in a flip.

The Wayfinders looked to each other, they never had the chance to try something like this before. Stitch was looking at Mickey, Goofy and Donald setting up sand sculptures and snickered, he pointed to it and gave Ven an idea to join in. Terra imagined chaos and followed, trying to have a watch at what they do as Aqua found Sea Fang zipping in the water and finding an idea of her own. Riku realized Aqua was heading to the shark and was given a nudge on the hip by Azu. He looked down at the Aquatic Rabbit and looked to the sunset with her, having an idea involving Crinoid.

As they helped the Barnacle get to the Wayfinder boys, Ken and Dupmic returned with sticks and marked a circle for a fire pit. The wayward Replica stomped the ground and brought out sitting stone benches as Ken looked to the shore and had an estimate. "As soon as that starts going over the shore, I'll light up our bonfire. This is going to be pretty."

Dupmic raised an eyebrow and smiled as he spotted Riku and Azu introducing an idea to Ven and Terra, Crinoid listened to an idea that would be silly to do and Stitch was giggling. The replica advised. "So now that the chore is done, let's go wild."

Ken agreed and looked around, Xion, Namine and Shooter were shuffling through sea shells, Sora and Kairi were saying sweet nothings to one another and he caught Aqua using her magic to ski across the ocean and towards the Sharpedo. Roxas and the Twilight Town Trio's game looked enticing and Ken zoned out at all the peace going on. He and Dupmic went their separate ways, the one armed boy perked and got into position as Pence tossed the frisbee in a curve, escaping Roxas's fingers and going over to Ken. The one armed boy caught it and snickered smugly, Roxas smirked and gestured that Ken brings it on. The one armed boy spun elegantly and tossed the disk over head with the speed of a bullet. Roxas leaped to catch it and tossed it backwards in a circle, Olette saw the disk coming by her and dashed to grabbed it, she leaped in a roll and laughed loudly.

At the tree.

Sora was resting his eyes as Kairi rested her head on his shoulder. "It's good to be home again." The spikey haired boy smirked, opened his eyes and looked to Kairi in agreement. "Yeah, things are finally normal again."

The sound of laughter caught their attention and they turned to see the others having a jolly time. Donald was building something by himself and was taking pride in a plan and the two pairs of brothers were burying Crinoid in sand for something. Ripple! A sloshing noise brought them to watching Sea Fang circling around excitement, with Aqua holding on to the fin and readying to surf. Sora took a deep breath, put his crown away and was finding the sand castle to be enticing. An idea came and he stood up, he whispered an idea to Kairi.

An idea that sounded fun to do, they went to the King and his guard. Mickey noticed and waved. "You two found something?" Sora and Kairi nodded and sat by, the boy answered as he and Kairi drew in the sand together. "Just something to do while we have time. It still feels strange." Kairi explained what the feeling is. "After tonight, things are going to be back to the way they were. But what's changed is just a call away."

Goofy chuckled to that. "Even when we got to go back home, we be seeing each other again sooner than we expect. Just cause this adventure is at an end, doesn't mean that our next one won't be happening." Donald over heard and was seeing the start of a shape. "Maybe the next one won't be as dangerous." That was a mutual hope and Mickey had one more look around. "You never know, but we picked a good time to have this." Sora and Kairi smiled wide and started drawing.

Half an hour later.

The builders finished quite a plethora of sand sculptures. Riku and Dupmic built a pointed sand castle, Mickey and Goofy built a mighty fortress, Terra and Ven gave the finishing touches on a circular stronghold and Donald finished a life like statue of himself. He had his hands to his hips in pride, if there was a competition, his would have been a master pierce amongst them. Sora, Kairi and Namine finished making a sand star with a heart in the center and gathered to see the statue. Sora and Kairi took their phones and had Donald ready for a picture. As soon as it was clicked, Stitch rushed through the statue and knocked it over Donald. Burying him under the sand and cackling to the mayhem. Azu cringed and squeaked, giving chase to stop the rampage. Donald dug himself out, glared at Stitch and went into a tantrum, even if Sora showed that the picture is saved. Ven and Terra sighed in a laugh as the rampage reached the castle they've worked on, causing something to stir from the sand, Crinoid's head slithered out and his petals wiggled. He pretended to look cross at Stitch and give a boo, the alien snickered and boo'd back as Azu bounced a chortle.

The Wayfinders noticed Aqua zipping across the water with Sharpedo and avoiding shots of water from the Clawitzer. Reaching to a point where Sea Fang leaped out in a spin and brought Aqua to flip in style. She leaped off and landed to the shore in grace, while Sea Fang landed behind her in the water and make a splash. Water got her from behind. She swayed her wet hair slyly, swiped a hand downward and looked to her brothers in arms while Sea Fang laughed. The Master asked. "You boys want a turn?"

Ven was tempted by the speed as Terra noticed the sun was about to touch the sea. The man pouted at a missed chance. "Maybe later, it's about to start." Shooter swam by on hearing that and turned, he bubbled at the fleeting time. (Suns going down.) Sea Fang turned to see and pouted. (Arg! I wanted to play more!)

Aqua and Ven looked to the horizon, feeling like time really did flew in the hour. "We still got some time to fool around before dark. But surfing could get dangerous for us out there." Shooter nodded and wasn't going to debate on that, he looked to the unoccupied tree that the Destiny Trio use as a hang out and insist. (If you all are using that bonfire, then it wouldn't be too much of a trouble if we borrowed that and watch with you?) Sea Fang looked to the tree and growled. (Should we?)

Aqua understood what was said and promised. "Well ask if that's okay," She crouched to the Sharpedo and poked him on the nose. "You all are quite polite." That caused Sea Fang to blush, Shooter rubbed his cheek nervously as the Wayfinders went to the main event.

On the other side, Xion joined her Twilit crew in the frisbee match and was cheering without a care in the world. Olette tossed the disk for her and she caught it before flinging it at Roxas, the boy caught it and kept it spinning around his finger as Hayner noticed the sun going down. "Phew!" He signaled. "Alright, time out! Check out the sun."

The teenagers looked on and saw they didn't have enough time before the big event. Ken yelped. "The fire needs to be lit soon!" Roxas agreed to that and signaled. "Come on, we need to be there when it's just right." Pence phewed. "We should try this again before the Summer's over. Can't believe that we're finally here." Ken laughed to that. "I can't believe it either. But here we are, ready to see what the stars look when reflecting on all that water." He rubbed his eyes and spaced out as he and his fellow teenagers gathered.

Finding Riku chatting with Aqua, Azu and Crinoid. "We're not using it, go ahead." The Azumarril cheered a yes as the Cradily turned his head and shout something to his sea bound buddies. The two took off to the tree as the others gathered around.

Namine saw that the Twilight Town buddies were tired out from their game and asked. "As soon as it gets dark, we can start the fire. It's a shame if we make this end too soon." Dupmic laughed in agreement. "Wish we could make it last forever, but we have to get back to protecting the worlds eventually. So, since Ken and I set this up, who's going to light it?"

Ken puffed his cheeks as Aqua and Donald offered to volunteer at once and realize they volunteered at once. That got Ken back to a laugh that made tears trickle down. The laugh turned into something of a sob, one that went on in silence no matter how much he tried to hide it. Namine gasped and patted him on the back. "Hey, hey! It's going to be okay." Aqua gasped and wanted to say something as Namine signaled her to wait, Riku approached and saw Ken was joyous over something, yet was crying out of control. "Ken, if you need to let it out, we're here to listen."

Ken smiled and cheered. "It...It's just, I can't believe we're all here after everything we've been through. Even Ana's going to be fixed up good as new. But one day, we'll all be over here to try this again. We're all still alive!"

Sora put together why Ken would be crying over that and helped him get a seat. "Yeah, we're all seeing this world connecting into a bigger. You included." Ken breathed in and confessed. "Ever since I found out what is in my heart! I've kind of been scared of being told to go away, like all those who kept trying to drown our worlds in the Dark."

Kairi put a hand on her hip and raised a finger. "Hey, hey! Once upon a time, the people of the world loved the light so much that they've turned to the darkness to seize it. Not knowing how they've tumbled." Riku nodded and admitted. "And when they do, they and their victims blame the Darkness and wished it went away. Rather than just leaving it alone and letting it come to them."

Sora gave Ken a back rub. "And you're not going to go away with it, unless you want to." Kairi agreed to that and found a seat. "Only Ken decides if he wants to leave. We know him and the Dark he holds, that well."

Ken was calming down and admitted. "I have to get back home soon and keep watching over everyone. But I'm staying at you guys side, no matter what." He crossed his heart in a vow. "Sorry for crying like that, it's just we worked so hard to make it this far that I've been pinching myself." Sora didn't mind the crying. "It's not a problem, it's okay to cry." Mickey agreed to that and thought out loud. "So much has happened to lead to this moment that it feels like we woken up from a long nightmare." He looked to the others. "And now that the nightmare is over, we can start making our dreams a reality."

Riku went to join Kairi and promised. "And this party isn't over until the sun's down. If we ever need each other again, you know to call us." Ken blushed and let Sora go to his friends, he went to help the Twilight Town kids divide out some ice cream, proud to still be accepted amongst the Light.

As the Sun was going down and the sky darken.

The bonfire is lit and the party goers gathered around with cleaned ice cream pops. Sora, Kairi and Riku sat on a cozy back bench, to watch both the bonfire and the coming night. On the other side of the back row was Mickey, Goofy and Donald, the Mage crossed his legs and sighed in satisfaction. Sitting by the Disney Trio was Ven, Terra and Aqua, who were watching a tired out Stitch. On a bench, closer to the shore, was Roxas, Namine and the Twilight Town Trio, holding onto sticks and counting down the sun. In between them and the Destiny Trio, was the trio of Rebels. Dupmic watched the fire burn as Xion finished lecturing Ken. "So the next time someone picks at you over your heart, they're going to have to answer to us." The one armed boy blushed as the sun finished settling, Ken closed his eyes and waved goodbye to the day star. "Good night Sun." Sora snickered and waved to the Sun. "We'll see you tomorrow!"

That earned a laugh, despite Aqua spacing out at a familiar sight. A dark shore, spanning into forever, with only a bonfire to keep things a light. The sun vanished for the night and brought about the night sky, making way for the stars and a moon that shared their light with the gazers. They and the fire, kept the night a light. It dawned on the star watchers, that even if the fire went out, there would still be plenty of light to show the rippling radiance. Aqua wowed at the similar, yet different sight and admitted. "The light really does make a difference, when night eventually comes."

Kairi agreed to that and let her imagination wander. "I wonder how many people, on these worlds, are looking up to the sky and thinking that?" Sora guessed without any estimate. "About as many as the stars we can count? Their hearts are connecting to people they haven't met yet, waiting for the chance. Once they meet another, they'll be looking up like we are."

Sora and Kairi cuddled together as the Star Gazers looked on to the ever spanning night, showing worlds, possibly known, possibly unknown that looked upon them with a wish to meet them too. Looking upon a future of endless possibilities.
