Ellie stood shocked while being held at gunpoint as Dmitri faced her with a smug look on his face. "How did you even find me?!"

"Well, you see Ellie, just as you foolishly planned to stab me in the back, I was prepared. The Wall has a connection with this agency called Center for Chaos Containment. The earpiece we gave to you secretly had a tracker, and I had one of these men follow you discreetly after you left the Toppat airship just to make sure if you would really keep your word. Such a shame you didn't." The warden shook his head in disappointment.

"Oh, don't give me that crap. You weren't actually going to keep your word. That's obvious! I had to trick you to achieve my goals." Ellie countered angrily.

Now Dmitri's expression changed from disappointed to subtly angry. "Maybe you are right, maybe you are not, but one thing is certain now." He approached her menacingly. "Now you really won't see the light of day again after what you did to my right hand man."

The redhead girl smirked. "I bet you wouldn't be saying that if you knew what he did."

"What are you talking about?"

"If it weren't for his stupidity, Henry Stickmin wouldn't have escaped. I saw it with my own eyes."

"Do not test my patience any longer with your lies." Dmitri threatened. "I might decide it's best you meet up with our dear friend Henry." Then the warden turned and yelled ordered. "Put her in handcuffs and get her in the van. We're going back to The Wall."

Ellie frowned at these words, but she had no choice.

She tried to look determined on the outside, but this turn of events is truly infuriating. She wanted to scream and punch and kill. Her spirit was broken.

The girl was eventually put in the van with Dmitri not too far from her, much to her displeasure. Ellie was looking down the whole time to avoid seeing his smackable face.

"Ironic, is it not?" He started talking. She didn't answer. She knew what he was trying to do.

Dmitri resumed. "Did you not mention that Henry left you behind after you helped him? So he essentially betrayed you. In your pursuit of revenge, you ended up becoming a traitor yourself. Truly ironic and amusing."

"It's not the same. I am more like him than I am like you. You are on the other side of the fence."

"Why does it matter that I run a complex and he's a criminal like you? Think about it. A criminal like you betrayed you for his own benefit, while I intended to keep my word. It all comes down to the person. Don't you agree?"

Ellie sneered at him. "How can you still expect me to believe that after telling me you planted a tracker on me and had your buddies following me?"

"That was your secret test, Ellie." Dmitri explained. "And you failed horribly. Who knows, maybe if you stuck to the plan to the end, right now you would be free."

Thinking back on the original plan, Ellie thought of something that she was curious about. It didn't add up. "What do you gain by telling me to blow up the Toppat airship anyway?"

"I saw it as a chance to do some cleanup. If the government took this long to take down the airship division, I might as well do it myself."

"Now you're just trying to paint yourself as the good guy. Typical."

"We have had some undercover members plotting to bust out prisoners, and proving that we are not to be messed with gives us an advantage." Dmitri added.

Ellie giggled to herself in amusement. "I doubt they would be scared because of that. If anything, it would make them even more determined to come back at you."

"Bringing them down would also mean that Henry has no backup should we recapture him. That is, if you had followed my orders, of course. I guess I get something out of it regardless of my true intentions, huh?"

Ellie looked down once again and ignored him.

Dmitri raised a curious eyebrow. "Oh? You need time to think over the consequences of your actions. Very well. I won't bother you, I think everything that needs to be said has been said now."

And so the rest of the ride was silent.

...

General Galeforce has been awaiting Charles' arrival anxiously. What old friend could he have possibly been referring to?

The old man was brought back to reality when a soldier entered his tent with the announcement that Charles arrived. Galeforce nodded and gave him the go-ahead to let them in. He was in for the surprise of his life when he saw who walked in along with Charles.

"Henry?! What are you doing here?" Honestly, should've seen that coming. The general squinted his eyes at Henry. He has not forgotten what happened last time. Henry looked guilty, but he asked for a chance to explain himself.

"General, Henry needs our help." Charles piped up.

The young pilot proceeded to tell him everything that Henry told him. Both of them hoped that this way, the general would at least consider what they had to say. General Galeforce was reasonable and forgiving, but still, betrayal does not go forgiven easily.

"That's quite a pickle you got yourself in, Henry. I don't know what to say, honestly...Okay, listen. Last time, I didn't think I could trust you again after that, but since Charlie here believes in you, then I will as well. To start, there is some important news related to your situation: The Toppat airship was found taken down a few hours earlier today."

Henry was surprised and confused to hear that. He wondered how could that be?

"Well uh...That only happened after your friend came in so...maybe it was her." Charles suggested. Henry considered that, but what would she gain out of it?

"I have no idea why she would do that, but considering who you mentioned she's working with, the Toppats might've been a secondary target. Either way, we might get some more info if we talk to the previous leader. Henry, you ready to see an old friend again?"

Henry nodded with a determined face.

"Okay. Follow me, then."
