The Wednesday100 topic was Your Favorite Quotes. Strictly speaking, this should come some time after "A Date for the Fourth of July." However, I've been working on that story for more than a year, and it's not finished yet. So I thought I could probably go ahead and just put this drabble here.

"Now I've got you, my pretty! Resistance is useless!" Lex Luthor declared. He pulled the woman tightly up against him.

The tiny blonde quivered in her stylish, yet affordable, boots. "You fiend!" she choked out, batting ineffectually at his shoulders.

Lex essayed a rather creditable insane cackle. "No one can save you now! Soon my Electro-Ray will destroy Metropolis, and then!" he began, but he was unable to continue. He plopped down onto the sofa, Buffy landing hard in his lap. They were both laughing almost too hard to breathe.

"Mmm. I love it when you talk evil to me."

"I like my evil like I like my men - evil. You know, straight up, black hat, tie ya to the railroad tracks, 'soon my electro-ray will destroy Metropolis' bad."
