Chapter 13: The Alpha
Alpha was walking towards Hana and the Wolf Amazon as they tried to get away from him, with Hana still helping the Wolf Amazon to stand and walk as she still had his arm on her shoulders.
But then the injured Wolf Amazon falls on his knee which forces Hana to stop.
"Okami!" Hana said in worry.
The Wolf Amazon turns to her.
"Hana…Just leave me…Please…" He requested, and Hana shook her head.
"I won't! I'm never going to leave you!" Hana said.
"Well, ain't that cute." Alpha said and Hana turned to him as he stopped walking. "So that Amazon is your little pet. But you're better off taking his offer. Get out of here if you know what's good for you."
Hana refuses as she hugs onto the Wolf Amazon to use her body as a shield. Alpha sighed as he shook his head.
"Fine. Don't say I didn't warn you." Alpha said before he ready his arm blade to strike them both down.
Just as Alpha was about to slash at them, a familiar green figure jumps down from a tree to slash at him which Alpha blocks in time using his arm blades, and the Red Rider saw it was Omega who used his arm blades to attack him.
Alpha then pushes Omega's arm to the side and lands a kick on him which sends him rolling on the ground before Omega recovers as he lands and slides on his feet and hand.
Omega looks up and glares at Alpha who casually waves at him.
"Yo, Kyoya, it's been a long time." Alpha greeted Omega as he glared at him.
"Just what are you doing here, Daiga?!" Omega asked.
"Do you really have to ask? I'm just hunting prey as usual." Alpha said as he looked at Hana and the Wolf Amazon.
"Then you're wasting your time with them. They hadn't hurt any innocents, they were only targeting criminals. So just please, let them go." Omega told him.
Alpha sighs in disappointment as he shakes his head.
"You're still going on about that? Honestly…after the things I've taught you." Alpha said.
"What can I say, you were that bad of a teacher." Omega stated.
"But you should know better than anyone…I don't stop until the job's down. So how about you back off?" Alpha asked darkly.
Omega assumes his beast-like combat stance as he glares at Alpha.
"I can't let you do that. Not again." Omega said.
Alpha sighed once again.
"So you really want a repeat of what happened last time? Fine then…" Alpha said as he assumed a more controlled and composed combat stance, showing a difference between himself and Omega. "Guess I'll indulge you."
Both Omega and Alpha stare at each other for a while before they charge as both Amazon Riders roar and clash their arm blades together in a bladed lock as sparks appear between them.

[(You!) Omae wa dare da! Ore no naka no ore. Kage ni kakureta sono sugata misero! Souzou no derivation.] (Daiga and Kyoya stood across from each other but they weren't looking at each other but their unconscious loved ones on the ground at the males' feet. At Kyoya's feet, it was Asuka while at Daiga's, it was Chihaya.)
[Fureru karada akaku kirikazami. Kokoro wa doko da? Get up me sagashite mo.] (The two guys, seemingly impatient, grabbed their respective girls by the arms and shook them until they woke up. When they did, they stared at them right in the eye.)
[Shinzou ga hotobashiru dake, Hey-hey…believe in AMAZON!] (Soon their Amazon instincts kicked in and the two males soon started to eat their girls by starting with their neck. Both Asuka and Chihaya were shocked but allowed it to happen, even when blood ran down their arms. Kyoya and Daiga soon wiped the blood off their lips before they continued to eat them but as Omega and Alpha. When they were satisfied, the two Amazon Riders pushed the girls away, causing them to disappear.)
[Kaze o kire koe wa karashite. Kemono ga warau kono machi de.] (Soon the screen showed several things Omega and Alpha were doing such as Omega driving his bike, Alpha killing an Amazon by tearing out its heart, etc. The screen then showed Alpha and Omega walking in opposite directions before stopping and looking back to see each other.)
[Kuu ka kuwareru ka no sadame oh yeah! Hora kanashimi no aji wa nodomoto.] (The Amazon instincts started to act up once again as the two Riders now saw each other as enemies. Omega growled before roaring and adopting a beast-like combat stance and Alpha adopted a more controlled and poised combat stance, showing the difference between them.)
[Tsumadatenagara kieru destiny. Ikiru tame ni nani wo kurau] (The two jumped, performing a Violent Slash attack as they charged for each other before they passed each other and landed on the ground. Just then blood spurted out of the side of Alpha's neck, revealing a wound created by Omega's Violent Punish. Alpha tried to reach out for him before dying. The same happened to Omega as Alpha's attack caused the same fatal wound that killed the latter.)
[Always uragire (How do we survive!?)] (Omega struggled to stand before falling down dead like Alpha. The screen then turned black before showing the title.)
After Omega had suddenly rushed off, both Asuka and Kurumi were running as fast as they could while M-Squad lagged behind them.
"Asuka-san! Why did Yagami-san suddenly run off like that?" Kurumi asked.
"I don't know, but we need to hurry!" Asuka said before she remembers the hint of fear in his voice before he suddenly runs off and leaves the others behind. "I've never seen Kyoya so scared before! Whatever it is, it really has him on edge!"
Kurumi lowered her head as she secretly gritted her teeth.
'That guy…making Asuka-san worry like that! I hope whatever it is kills him!' Kurumi thought.
Both Amazon Riders now engage in hand-to-hand combat as Omega throws wild punches at Alpha, but the Red Amazon Rider easily parries his punches with one hand as he chuckles before Omega swings a reverse spin kick at him and Alpha blocks it with his arm before he pushed it away and lands his own kick on Omega's chest which sends him crashing onto a tree before he falls on his hand, knee, and foot and glares at Alpha.
Alpha shook his head in disappointment.
"I see you're still the same wild berserker as always. I keep telling you it makes you predictable that way." Alpha said.
Omega growls at Alpha before he turns to Hana and the Wolf Amazon.
"What are you doing?! You need to run away now!" Omega told them.
Hana nodded before she helped the Wolf Amazon stand as they began to walk away but were slow to the latter's wounds.
"I don't think so!" Alpha shouted as he jumped at them to attack.
As Omega stands back up, he soon grabs onto his Battler Grip and twists it.
[VIOLENT BREAK]
Omega pulls out his Grip as a whip and swings it at Alpha as it wraps around his upper body and Omega swings his whip and smashes Alpha into a nearby tree before he slams him onto the ground.
Alpha stood up on his knee and foot as he shook his head before he looked down at the whip around his body.
"Well this is new." Alpha said.
"I made a few upgrades after I left. Now how about you stay down if you know what's good for you." Omega told him, but Alpha just laughed.
"Yeah…Like I'm going to do that!" Alpha shouted as he charged at Omega.
Omega swings Alpha up in the air and then to another tree but Alpha uses that chance to land on his feet on that tree before he jumps at Omega.
"Nani?!" Omega gasped in shock before Alpha flips and grabs onto his head using his legs.
Alpha chuckles before he swings and slams Omega's head to the ground before the rest of his body falls to the ground.
Alpha stood up and removed the whip off of his body.
"Now how about you stay down if you know what's good for you?" Alpha asked, but Omega wasn't able to respond. "Guess I knocked him out."
Hana and the Wolf Amazon continue to walk away to get away, but Alpha jumps at the Amazon and pins him to the ground all while knocking Hana away as she falls to the ground.
"Now, where were we?" Alpha asked before he aimed his hand at the Wolf Amazon ready to finish him off, but Hana stopped him by grabbing onto his arm.
"Please! I'm begging you! Just let us go!" Hana pleaded to Alpha.
"Sorry, but I don't do requests like that. So how about you let go while I finish the job." Alpha told her, but Hana held his arm tighter. "Oh come on, don't be unreasonable here. I'd rather not hurt humans unless I have to."
Alpha then begins to shake Hana off of his arm as she refuses to let go while the Wolf Amazon looks at her.
"Hana…just go…please…" The Wolf Amazon mutters.
"Please just stop!" Hana pleaded to Alpha.
"Just let go!" Alpha warned her.
Despite his unconscious state, Omega was still able to hear their voices as he could Hana cries, he soon remembers the cries of a baby echoing along with Alpha's laughter before Omega remembers the splash of blood.
Omega's eyes shot open as he woke up.
Now fed up with Hana's struggle, Alpha darkly glares at her.
"Fine! I didn't want to do this, but…!" Alpha shouted as he pulled his arm free and slammed his hand on Hana's cheek sending her to the ground.
"Hana!" The Wolf Amazon said in worry.
"Don't worry, she's still alive. Believe it or not, I make it a habit of not killing humans. You on the other hand…" Alpha said as he aimed his hand ready to kill the Amazon, and the Wolf Amazon closed his eyes to brace himself for his impending demise as Hana was forced to watch.
"Okami-san!" She said in worry.
Just when Alpha was about to kill the Amazon, he soon heard roaring behind before he turned around and saw it was Omega as he ran to Alpha and lands a punch on his face which sends Alpha off of the Wolf Amazon as he rolled on the ground.
Omega turns to Hana who looks at him as well.
"Go…You need to go now." Omega told her, and Hana nodded before she stood up and quickly helped the Wolf Amazon stand as they began to walk away.
But then a sharp stick flew and stabbed into the Wolf Amazon's leg, the Amazon roared in pain as he fell on his knees.
"Okami-san!" Hana said in worry.
Omega turns to Alpha who stood up on his knee and foot as he was the one who threw the stick at Wolf Amazon.
"That will keep you there for a while." Alpha said as he stood up on his feet and wiped his hand on his mouth before he and Omega glared at each other. "Have to say Kyoya, that was a mean punch you did there. But don't expect that it will work a second time."
"I wasn't counting on it." Omega said.
"Then here's my last offer, step aside now." Alpha told him.
Omega assumes his combat stance and Alpha sighed.
"Fine then…don't forget you asked for this." Alpha said as he assumed his combat stance.
Omega and Alpha charge at each other and soon throw a punch in a cross counter as both Amazon Riders punches land on their respective cheeks.
Then Omega throws another punch on Alpha's head with his other hand, and Alpha stomps his foot hard on the ground as he headbuts Omega so hard he stumbles back.
Alpha chuckles as he jumps at Omega to punch at him, and Omega dodges by jumping on his hands and lands a kick on Alpha's side which sends him rolling on the ground before landing and sliding on his hand and feet.
[VIOLENT PUNISH]
Alpha looks up and sees Omega flying towards to attack with his arm blades, and Alpha narrowly dodges it but Omega is still able to leave a cut on his neck before Omega lands on the ground and turns to Alpha who had a hand on his neck before he looked at it and saw his blood on it. Alpha then angrily glares at Omega.
"Oh you just made a big mistake there." Alpha stated as he flicked the blood off his hand.
Omega roars as he charges at Alpha to attack with his arm blades once again, and Alpha charges at him as well. Alpha throws a punch at Omega, and he dodges the punch, and Omega uses that chance to slash his arm blades into the side of Alpha's torso.
Alpha groans but smirks underneath his helmet before he grabs onto Omega's arm much to his shock as he looks up at Alpha who was looking down at him.
"Word of advice. You should've aimed for my vitals!" Alpha said before he slams his elbow onto Omega's arm which broke the joints between his bones.
Omega roared in pain as he fell on his knees and placed his hand on his broken arm.
"Now, are you ready to give up?" Alpha asked.
Despite his arm now broken, Omega fought through the pain as he stood back up and ready to fight Alpha with his other arm.
"Guess that was stupid of me to ask." Alpha said.
Omega charges at Alpha to punch and kick at him several times but Alpha easily dodges and parries his attacks before Omega swings a kick at him, but Alpha uses that chance to slam his knee and elbow between the joints of his legs which broke it.
Omega cries out in pain before he falls to the ground before he reverts back into Kyoya as he had a hand on his broken leg.
"Now this time stay down while I finish the job." Alpha told him before he set his sights on the Wolf Amazon and Hana.
Kyoya shouted at them.
"Run now!"
Hana tries to help the Wolf Amazon stand up but is still too injured to move.
Alpha walks to them before he runs to the pair to attack, the Wolf Amazon soon sees him coming at him and Hana, he then pushes Hana away as she falls to the ground and Alpha thrust his hand straight through from the Amazon's back to his chest all while holding his still beating heart in his hand.
Both Kyoya and Hana's eyes widened in horror.
"Okami-san…" Hana mutters before the Wolf Amazon slowly turns to her.
"Hana…"
Alpha pulls out his hand and the Wolf Amazon falls to the ground. Alpha then looks at the Amazon's beating heart in his hand.
"Nasty." Alpha said before he crushed the heart, and the Wolf Amazon dissolves into goop.
"No…No!" Hana cries out.
She then crawls on the goop remains of her lover and tries to gather them up in her hands, but they only fall off her hands before she spotted his Amazon Register on the ground before she slowly picks it up and looks at it.
Hana then begins to cry as she holds the Register close to her chest.
"Oh come on, are you really going to cry over your pet?" Alpha asked and Hana looked up at him. "He was just another Amazon. One of these days he was going to lose control and make you his next meal."
Hana glares at Alpha before she goes back into weeping. Alpha sighs as he lowered his head.
"I swear…women. They're always so emotional. Well, at least my job here is done." Alpha said as he was about to walk away to leave but the injured Kyoya managed to grab onto his leg forcing him to stop before he looked down at him. "What do you think you're doing, Kyoya?"
"I can't let you go! Not after what you did!" Kyoya growls at Alpha.
Alpha sighs as he shakes his head.
"Honestly…After two years I thought you would've grown out of that by now!" Alpha said as he pulled his leg free and kicked Kyoya on the stomach which sent him rolling on his back. "I keep telling you that an Amazon is still an Amazon. And we're no exception to that rule."
Alpha then grabs Kyoya by the neck before he picks him up.
"Maybe I let this rebellious phase of yours go on for long enough. I think it's about time I start beating you into submission." Alpha said as he aimed a fist at Kyoya ready to do just that, but then his battle instincts kicked in as he sensed danger approaching behind him.
Alpha turns around and sees it was Asuka armed with her karambit as she flew at the Red Amazon Rider to cut off his head, and Alpha narrowly dodges it as he moves away from Kyoya as he lets go of him.
Kyoya falls to the ground and Asuka knelt down to check on him.
"Kyoya, are you alright?" Asuka asked in worry.
"Not really…But I'll live…" Kyoya mutters.
Asuka then angrily glared at Alpha as she stood up while he was rubbing his hand on his neck.
"Whoa! That was close! You nearly cut off my head there." Alpha said as he looked at the Magical Girl before she assumed her stance with her knife.
"Oh trust me, that's the least of your worries now." Asuka darkly told him.
"Ooh…Scary." Alpha said before he studied her appearance. "A fancy combat dress. A fancy knife. You must be a Magical Girl, this is my first time seeing one. Can I have an autograph?"
Instead of answering, Asuka charges at Alpha to attack with her knife and he dodges it by rolling to the side.
"Hey, what's wrong? I just asked for an autograph." Alpha said.
Asuka then slashes at Alpha a few more times as he dodges her knife before her next attack slashes through a tree which cuts it in half as it falls to the ground.
"Yeesh…You really need to be more careful with that thing. You might poke someone's eye out." Alpha said.
"Yeah, your eye!" Asuka says as she slashes at Alpha once again, and the Red Amazon Rider dodges her attacks.
Then Alpha manages to sweep kick on Asuka's legs, sending her to the ground. Just as Asuka was about to get back up, Alpha jumped on top of her and placed an arm on her neck while holding the arm which held her karambit.
"Okay, so how about we talk like the civil people we are?" Alpha asked.
Alpha senses kicked in once again as he looked to the side and saw an incoming needle heading towards him which he dodges in time by jumping back and off of Asuka.
Alpha soon lands on his feet, he looks and sees that the shooter of that needle was Kurumi.
"Oh goodie, now there's two of them." Alpha said before he saw that the needle had stabbed into a nearby large rock which began to dissolve due to Kurumi's acids. "Dang…glad that's not me."
Kurumi loads a new needle into her syringe and Asuka stands back up as they face Alpha.
"Are you alright, Asuka-san?" Kurumi asked.
"Yeah. Be careful with this one, he's quick on his feet." Asuka said.
Alpha then turns to Kyoya.
"Man, Kyoya, I didn't know you made friends with celebrities like these two. You must be moving up in the world." Alpha said.
"And that should be the least of your worries." Asuka said getting Alpha's attention.
"What? Are you that pissed off by his injuries?" Alpha asked. "You should relax. That was just me greeting an old friend, and he'll be back on his feet in no time."
"Like I can believe that." Asuka said. "Since you've hurt a friend of mine, I can't just let you go. Not until you answer for what you did."
Alpha hummed to hear that.
"You really sound just like Kyoya there." Alpha said before he slowly backs away from them. "It's not my style to just run away, but I rather not get involved with the military or the government. And besides, my job here is done anyway. Later!"
Alpha jumps onto a nearby tree branch and runs away by jumping from tree to tree.
"Wait!" Asuka said as she and Kurumi were about to chase after him.
"Don't, Asuka!" Kyoya shouted which made both Magical Girls stop and turned to him as he slowly sat up. "There's no point in following him."
"But Kyoya…" Asuka said.
"Just trust me on this. By the time you'll go after him, he'll be long gone by now. Besides, he's not even worth it." Kyoya said.
While reluctant, Asuka decided to trust in her childhood friend's judgment before they heard Hana's weeping and they turned to her as she continued to cry while holding the Wolf Amazon's Register close to her chest.
Both Asuka and Kurumi could only look at her in sympathy while Kyoya lowered his head as he gritted his teeth.
Then the rest of M-Squad soon arrived as they took a moment to catch their breath, Iizuka then took a moment to study the area and saw the injured Kyoya and the grieving Hana.
"What the hell happened?" Iizuka asked.
"In all honesty, sir, I'm not sure myself." Asuka answered.
Inside an abandoned apartment complex and in one of the rooms, a woman was cooking some chicken using a portable stove while she was humming.
The room she was in had a self-sustaining style to it. There was a kotatsu table in the middle of it, on the corner was a large water bucket with a washing board to clean laundry, there was also a handmade laptop on the table along with a police radio, there was an homemade room light hanging on the ceiling powered by car batteries as they were drilled beside it, there was also some first aid kits in the room, and hanging on the edge of the room was a hammock big enough for one or two people.
She then heard the door opening and saw Daiga enter the room while he was carrying his Amazon Driver in his hand.
"Welcome back, Daiga." She greeted him.
"I'm back." Daiga said before he sat down to the kotatsu and leaned back.
"Did something happen during the hunt?" She asked as she continued cooking the chicken.
"It wasn't too much trouble. Though I did meet up with Kyoya." He answered, and she smiled to hear that.
"Really? How was he?" She asked, and Daiga hummed before he answered.
"He's still the same naive kid as always. Honestly, I was really hoping that he grew out of that rebellious phase by now." Daiga said.
"Have you ever wondered that you were the cause of it?" She asked.
"What do you mean? I'm a cute little angel, remember?" Daiga asked, and she chuckled to hear that before she placed the chicken on a plate.
"I say you're more like the devil." She told him, and Daiga laughed.
"Yeah…I guess I can't deny that." Alpha said.
The woman then brings the plate of chicken to the table.
"Anyway, I hope you're hungry. We're having teriyaki style." She said, and Daiga licks his lips to hear that.
"That does sound good." He said.
Daiga then begins eating the teriyaki chicken, the woman turns to the window as she wonders how Kyoya is doing after meeting the former.
'Maybe I should pay Kyoya a surprise visit and see how he's doing.' She thought.
(Later)
The members of M-Squad had returned to their base. Kyoya was seated on a chair as Kurumi had healed his broken arm and leg.
"There. Your arm and leg will still be sore for a while, but you'll be good as new in no time." Kurumi said as Kyoya checked his arm and leg.
"Thank you." Kyoya said and Kurumi huffed as she turned away from him. Kyoya then turns to Iizuka. "Anyway, how's Hana-san?"
After they brought Hana to the city with them, M-Squad had turned her into the police for further questioning.
"I just spoke with the police commissioner. She's still grieving but she's stable for now. After they're done questioning her, she'll have a fair trial along with a reduced sentence." Iizuka told him.
"Thank you, but I still wish that it ended differently." Kyoya said as the Wolf Amazon's death by Alpha's hand was still heavy in his mind.
"Kyo-kun…" Asuka said in worry for her childhood friend.
"Anyway, you said you and War Nurse fight against another Amazon, right?" Iizuka asked, and both Magical Girls nodded.
"That's right. Not only that, he was also wearing a belt that was just like Kyoya's when he transformed." Asuka said.
The members of M-Squad were surprised by that, except for Iizuka as he narrowed his eyes before he turned to Kyoya.
"Care to explain about that Yagami?" He asked before Kyoya turned to him.
"And what makes you think that I know anything?" Kyoya asked.
"I don't know, maybe it was because of that reaction you had when you suddenly ran off." Iizuka stated, and Kyoya's eyebrows twitched. "Can you really look me in the eye and say that you really don't know anything?"
Kyoya was silent as he was hesitant to answer that question before Asuka placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Kyo-kun, you know I'm not one to pry, but Iizuka is right. You have to tell us what you know. But don't worry, I just know that I'm always here for you." Asuka said with an assured smile while Kurumi looked at them in jealousy.
"Asu-chan…" Kyoya said before he sighed. "Fine…His name is Itsuka Daiga, and I guess you can say he was like a mentor to me."
"A mentor? Wait…Was he…?" Ise said, and Kyoya nodded.
"Yeah. He was the one who taught me how to fight, how to survive, and he was the one who told me about the Amazon Cells." Kyoya said. "It was around three years ago that I met him. On the day that the Amazons escape from my father's lab."
(Flashback, three years ago)
A 14-year-old Kyoya was unconscious with his back against a wall. After his father had injected him with a serum, he felt an intense burning pain around his body and the next thing he saw was darkness.
Kyoya soon woke up as he felt a sharp pain around his arm, he frantically looked around and saw he was in a room of some kind.
"Yo, finally awake I see." Kyoya looked and saw that Daiga was standing beside him.
"Who are you?" Kyoya said before he saw the Amazon Register on his arm. "Wh-What is this thing?"
Kyoya tries to remove the Register off of his arm, but it was really stuck on it.
"I wouldn't do that if I was you." Daiga said, getting the young Kyoya's attention. "Unless you want the beast to come out again, I'll leave that thing on. Who knows what will happen."
"The beast?" Kyoya said in confusion before he looked around and saw that he was in an abandoned building. "This isn't my room? Where am I?"
"I guess you can say that it's my house. But I'm actually the only one who lives here. Oh, and I almost forgot about your first question." Daiga said before he reached out his hand to Kyoya. "The name's Itsuka Daiga. I used to be a friend of your dad."
"Y-You are?" Kyoya asked, and Daiga nodded.
"Yeah. I know you're still confused right now, but there's a lot we need to talk about." Daiga said.
"That's when he told me about the Amazons and the Cells. And how I was my father's first test subject which made me the world's first Amazon. At first, I didn't want to believe it, on how my father could do such things and how I wasn't human anymore. But the more I thought about it, the more it makes sense now. Then I started living with him. Apparently, my dad contacted him after the breakout, and that he wanted Daiga to look out for me. Then about a week and a half, is when I first used my Amazon Driver."
Daiga as Alpha was in a mining site in the hunt for an Amazon. They fight in a deadly battle, but Alpha manages to severely wound the Amazon to the point it was now limping away from the Red Amazon to get away as he follows it by walking.
The Amazon groans as he tries to limp away while its blood drops to the ground.
"Come on, there's no reason to run away." Alpha said as he continues to follow the injured Amazon. "Just accept the situation and give up."
But the Amazon continues to try to get away, and Alpha sighed in annoyance.
"Fine, have it your way." Alpha said darkly as he was ready to finish the Amazon off.
But beating him too it was a green blur as it used its arm blades to cut the Amazon in half before he fell to the ground and dissolved.
Alpha saw it was Omega who landed on the ground as he was growling and hissing like a wild animal. Alpha was able to recognize him as Kyoya.
"Oh it's you." Alpha said before he saw the Amazon Driver on his waist. "I guess Chihaya must've given that to you after I left. I swear that girl, always doing things behind my back. But I appreciate the help."
Omega turns to Alpha as he glares at him.
"Help? No!" Omega said and Alpha tilted his head in confusion. "Something is driving me to fight…To kill! I can still feel it…even now! I want to fight again…I need to kill again!"
Omega assumed his stance as he was ready to fight Alpha. Alpha laughs in amusement.
"So you finally let the beast out its cage. All right then…" Alpha said as he assumed his combat stance. "Guess I'll indulge you for a bit."
Omega roars before he charges at Alpha and throws a few punches and kicks at him. Alpha dodges and parries his attacks with his ease before he pushes Omega on the back of his head which makes him stumble forward, Omega stops as he glares at Alpha once again.
"Lots of aggression you have there, but your lack of control makes you predictable." Alpha tells him, and Omega roars once again before he charges at Alpha.
Omega punches at him once again as he dodges and parries his punches before he throws a reverse spin kick at Alpha before he blocks it with his forearm and Omega uses that chance to jump and lands another kick on Alpha's head which sends him rolling on the side before he stops on his knee and hand.
Omega roars as he jumps at Alpha and punches him straight in the face, sending the Red Amazon Rider rolling on the ground once again before he stops.
Alpha raised his head before he used his hand to wipe off some blood on his jaw before he looked at it.
"Okay then…" Alpha said before he turned back to Omega. "Guess I should stop holding back now."
Omega charges at Alpha to attack with his arm blades and Alpha blocks it with his own arm blades before he pushes Omega's arm to the side and headbutts Omega which forced to stumble back.
Alpha punches at Omega, but Omega dodges it and grabs onto Alpha's arm and begins punching on him several times before Alpha manages to slip out of Omega's hold on him and sweep kicks on his legs sending Omega to the ground.
Just as Omega was about to get back up, Alpha jumped on top of him and placed his arm on his neck to pin him on the ground. Omega growls as he struggles to break free before he glares at Alpha.
"You cooled off yet?" Alpha asked, Omega was panting as he began to calm down. "Good. You saved yourself a beat down."
Alpha soon got off of Omega as he stood up, and Omega stood up on his knee and foot. Omega then saw a puddle beside before he saw his reflection in it which horrified Omega before he looked at his armored hand and placed his hand on his helmet.
"No…No…Th-This can't be me!" Omega said.
"Yeah, I'm sorry to break it to you but that is you." Alpha said before he knelt down to Omega. "You're Amazon now. Best to accept it."
Omega roared before he slams his hands on the ground, Alpha then pats him on the back to help comfort him.
"After that, Daiga helped me control my newfound…abilities. He taught me the basics of tracking an Amazon, and how my Amazon Driver works. Then in about a month later, I began helping him in hunting down the Amazons. Back then I thought they were dangerous just like he told me. I didn't question at first because I had nowhere to go, and that maybe it was my destiny to clean up my father's mess."
Omega was chasing an Amazon as they jumped from rooftop to rooftop, before Omega slipped on the edge and fell to the ground. Omega groans as he sits up before he sees Alpha jump over him as he continues to hunt the Amazon.
Omega sighed before he saw that the right grip of his Driver was broken off and was hanging on the wires connected between both things. Omega picks the girl up but looking at it, it gives him an idea.
Kyoya was seated close to a table as he was typing on a laptop which was connected to his Amazon Driver along with its broken right grip. He was working on a program and design upgrade for both of them, as images of the grip being pulled out of the Driver and a sword was on the screen of the laptop.
Omega was seen battling against an Amazon who attacks with its long tongue, Omega dodges its attacks before he twists on his newly repaired and upgraded Battle Grip.
[VIOLENT BREAK]
Omega pulls out his Battler Grip in the form of a sword before he jumps at the Amazon and uses his sword to cut its head off before it falls to the ground and dissolves.
Omega looks at his Amazon Blade in great satisfaction. Alpha was looking at Omega and was greatly impressed by the upgrades Kyoya included in his Driver.
"It took me a while, but I was able to get used to hunting the Amazons. But there was a moment that I began to question it."
Both Omega and Alpha were battling against three Amazons while Alpha continued to fight one of them, Omega was able to kill one using his Amazon Blade.
The third one took a chance to run away which Alpha notices as he held the second Amazon's head in a headlock.
"Kyoya, one's getting away!" Alpha told him.
"I'm on it!" Omega said before he chased after the escaping Amazon.
It didn't take for Omega to catch up to the escaping Amazon before he attacks him with his sword, the Amazon barely dodges it by falling to the ground.
Just as the Amazon slowly stood up, Omega was about to use his Blade to kill it, but Omega soon hesitates when he sees the look of fear in the Amazon's face despite the fresh human blood on his face.
"Wh-Why won't you just leave us alone?" The Amazon asked.
"I-I…" Omega said.
The Amazon then roared as he changed into his other form, Omega was surprised by this before the Amazon was about to attack him, but then…
[VIOLENT SLASH]
Alpha attacks the Amazon with his arm blade cutting it in half before it falls to the ground and dissolves.
Alpha lowered his arm before he looked at Omega.
"Daiga, I…" Omega said before his mentor walks to him and punches Omega on the face sending him to the ground.
"What the hell happened there Kyoya?! Why did you hesitate like that?!" Alpha exclaimed at Omega.
"I-I don't know…He just looks so scared that I…" Omega said.
"I don't want to hear any excuses!" Alpha exclaimed at him, and Omega flinched. "Remember, an Amazon is still Amazon. There are no exceptions to that rule. The next time you go for the kill, you go for the kill. Never hesitate, got it?!"
Omega sighed as he lowered his head.
"Crystal…"
"Good." Alpha said before he picks up the Register and leaves.
Omega lowered his head as Alpha's lecture didn't help with his self-doubt.
"That was when I was starting to doubt what we were doing. In every hunt, I encounter several Amazons all who had different reasons for living. Some hunted humans for their amusement. Some who didn't want to hurt anyone but ended up losing control of themselves anyway. Some who just wanted to simply live. Then around a year later, everything changed between me and Daiga."
Both Omega and Alpha were battling a different Amazon in an abandoned subway tunnel, one was a woman and the other was a man.
Alpha dodges the male Amazon's attacks before he punches on him two times.
Omega was fighting in the female Amazon as he was holding her arm as he punched on her chest a few times.
Followed by a kick on their chests both Omega and Alpha twisted their Drivers' left grip.
[VIOLENT PUNISH]
[VIOLENT SLASH]
Both Omega and Alpha jump at their respective opponents and attack them with their arm blades.
The male Amazon falls to the ground and dissolves.
As the female Amazon was still standing but was still slowly dying, Omega turned to her as she slowly turned to him.
"Please…spare our…" She mutters before she dissolves on the ground.
Omega was curious what she was talking about before Alpha walked to him.
"Good work there. You went for the kill this time." Alpha praised him.
"Yeah…" Omega said. "Anyway, our job's done here, right?"
"No, there's another Amazon still here." Alpha said as he could sense it.
Omega could sense it as well before he spotted the makeshift camp that was a few feet away from them, and he could sense that the third Amazon was still in there.
"It's over there." Omega said before Alpha turned to the camp.
Both Amazon Riders walk to the camp and they both open the curtains, and to their shock they see a child inside.
The child appears to be between three to four years old, but he had a collar around his neck with a chain attached to it that was connected to the wall.
The child was looking at them in fear.
"A child? Did those two kidnap him?" Omega said, and Alpha shook his head.
"No. That's not a normal kid. Take a closer look." Alpha pointed out.
Omega took a good look on the child's face and saw it was covered in blood but what really shocked him was the human body parts on the ground.
The child then growls at the Amazon Riders before he changes into an Amazon form and soon charges at them to attack but the chain holds it back.
Seeing that shocked Omega while Alpha laughs.
"Dang! He's a feisty one." Alpha said.
"An Amazon child? But how?" Omega said before Alpha pointed his thumb outside.
"What do you think?" Alpha asked.
Omega turns to the goopy remains of the male and female Amazons they had defeated before he remembers that woman's words before he turns to the Amazon child.
"Wait…So they…" Omega said and Alpha nodded.
"Hmm-Hmm. Those two must've fallen in love and they got busy." Alpha said.
"Then…Then what should we do? I mean we can't just leave it here?" Omega asked.
Alpha hummed in thought.
"Good point. It would be a problem if it causes trouble for anyone. Best to take care of it now." Alpha said, Omega turns to his mentor.
"What do you mean by that?" Omega asked.
Instead of answering, Alpha walks to the Amazon newborn and aims a hand on it, realizing what he was going to do, Omega stops him as he moves in front of Alpha and places a hand on his chest.
"What do you think you're doing, Kyoya?" Alpha asked as he turned to him.
"I was going to ask you the same question." Omega said.
"Isn't it obvious? I'm finishing our hunt here." Alpha coldly told him.
"Daiga…You can't possibly be serious about this?! Mature Amazons are one thing, but that's just a newborn, it hasn't done anything wrong!" Omega told him.
Alpha laughs to hear that.
"That's a cheesy ass line! In case you've forgotten Kyoya, we're neither heroes or villains, we're hunters. And that's just another Amazon that needs to be exterminated." Alpha told him, shocking Omega once again.
"Daiga…Do you even hear yourself?!" Omega asked.
"Yeah, I can hear my voice just fine." Alpha said before he grabbed onto Omega's hand. "Now move."
Alpha tries to push Omega's hand off of his chest, but he refuses to move, Alpha looks down at his hand before he looks up at Omega's face.
"I'm not going to let you do this." Omega said, and Alpha laughs to hear that.
"Oh, I'm sorry…did you say you're not going to let me do this?" Alpha asked.
The two Amazon Riders stare at each other as Omega tightly clenches his hand and Alpha flicks his own hand.
Then both Omega and Alpha battle each other as Alpha pushes Omega's hand off his chest and throws a punch at him, and Omega lands a punch on his face which sends Alpha stumbling out of the makeshift tent before Omega follows to take the battle outside.
Omega jumps at Alpha to swing a drop kick at him, Alpha dodges it and throws a punch at him which Omega dodges by rolling on the ground as Alpha fist smashes into the ground.
As Omega stood up, Alpha pulled his hand out of the ground before both Amazon Riders glared at each other before they charged and threw an attack at each other while also blocking and dodging.
Omega throws a kick at Alpha, and he blocks it with his forearm before he pushes it aside and lands a punch on Omega sending him rolling on the ground before he stops on his hands and feet.
Omega glares at Alpha before he roars and punches on the ground before he grabs onto his Battler Grip and twists on it.
[VIOLENT BREAK]
Omega pulls out his Grip as the Amazon Blade and wields in a reverse grip style. Omega charges at Alpha and slashes at him with his Blade as the Red Amazon Rider parries his attacks with his gauntlets before Omega manages to land a slash on his chest.
Alpha jumps back from Omega before he places a hand on the wound on his chest as it begins to bleed before Alpha looks at the blood now on his hand.
"Alright then, guess the kid gloves are coming off." Alpha said as he flicked the blood off his hand.
Omega roared as he charged at Alpha, and Alpha waited for him as he assumed his stance before Omega jumped and swung his Amazon Blade at him, but Alpha caught the Blade in his hand which surprised Omega before Alpha pulled the Amazon Blade out of his hand and stabbed it deep into Omega's leg.
Omega roars in pain before Alpha pulls the Blade out and kicks him on the head, sending Omega to the ground before he reverts back into Kyoya.
Kyoya had placed both of his hands on his wounded leg as it began to bleed.
"Now how about you stay down like a good little boy while I finish the job." Alpha said before he moves to the Amazon child while Kyoya could only watch.
"No…Daiga, don't do it!" Kyoya pleaded.
Alpha stood in front of the Amazon child as it continued to growl at him.
Alpha roared as he used the Amazon Blade to cut down the child as blood began to splash around, which horrified Kyoya as his eyes widened. Time seems to have slowed down as Alpha continues to roar as he continues to slash on the Amazon child.
After what seems to be an eternity, Alpha finally finishes off the Amazon child as its body dissolves into goop.
Alpha sighed as it was finally over before he looked at Kyoya's Amazon Blade.
"Have to say Kyoya, this thing was pretty useful. Though it's not really my style." Alpha said before he throws the Battler Grip back to Kyoya as it falls and rolls in front of him.
Alpha changes back into his human form and is about to leave but notices that Kyoya was still on the ground before he turns to him and sees that Kyoya had lowered his head.
"What's wrong? Don't tell me you're crying because of that little paper cut?" Daiga asked.
"Just why…?" Kyoya mutters, and Daiga blinks in confusion.
"What was that?" Daiga asked before Kyoya raised his head and glared at him.
"Why would you do something like that?! That Amazon was just an innocent child!" Kyoya exclaimed at him.
Daiga sighed before he turned away from him.
"Honestly Kyoya, and here I thought you've matured by now. There are no innocents or victims here. An Amazon is still an Amazon. There are no exceptions to that rule." Daiga coldly told him.
"Then what about you?! You're an Amazon yourself!" Kyoya reminds him, and Daiga chuckles.
"You're right, and I'm no exception." Daiga said before he pointed his thumb at himself. "Once all the Amazons are dead, I'll be the last one to go."
Daiga then pointed his finger at Kyoya.
"But I'll do that after I'm done with you. But don't worry, that will come after we kill all of the Amazons. If you hadn't lost control of yourself by then." Daiga said.
Kyoya was shocked to hear that and soon realized why Daiga had trained him to hunt Amazons.
"That's when I realized the truth of what he thought of me. After all this time, Daiga only saw me as a tool for him to use and at the same time I was just another Amazon to him. Nothing but a monster that needs to be exterminated."
(End of flashback)
After Kyoya had finished his story, the members of M-Squad were shocked by it before Kyoya spoke to them.
"After that I couldn't agree with his methods anymore, so I left and set out on my own."
"Then…Why didn't you tell us about him before?" Iizuka asked.
"I didn't see a reason to. Besides, he was the last person I ever want to think about again." Kyoya said.
"Okay…" Iizuka said. "Anyway, now that we know he's out there we can't let him roam freely in the city. I'm going to let Public Safety know about him."
"Don't bother. They're never going to find him." Kyoya said.
"And how could you be so sure about that?" Iizuka asked.
"Because I know how he thinks and operates. He must have at least three hideouts along with seven escape routes by now." Kyoya said.
"But you know how to find them, don't you?" Iizuka asked, and Kyoya sighed as he rubbed the back of his head.
"Maybe. But like I said he's good. He's always three moves ahead of everyone else. So I doubt even I can find him, even with my sixth sense." Kyoya told them.
Iizuka sighed to hear that.
"Fine, I'll take your word for it. But I'm still going to inform Commissioner Sena about this Itsuka Daiga." Iizuka told him.
"That's fine by me." Kyoya said before he stood up and left the building as the others watched him.
Asuka had a concerned look on her face as she was worried about Kyoya.
(Meanwhile)
Both Brigadier along with Abby were on the same bed together, after having a passionate time with each other, Abby was sleeping while hugging on a pillow as she had a blissful smile on her face.
Brigadier was still awake as she was watching footage of Omega's battle against Alpha, and her eyes were mostly set on the Red Amazon Rider with a smile on her face.
"Itsuka Daiga. The second test subject of the Amazon Cells. These past few months have been nothing but surprises lately. As much as I want to get my hands on him, I think I'll save that for another time." Brigadier then uses her tablet to contact one of her subordinates and they soon answer. "It's me. I need you to deliver this info to Giess."
(Later at night)
Kyoya had returned to his apartment and now both him and Mamoru were resting on their futons to sleep.
While Mamoru was sound asleep on his futon, Kyoya was still awake as he was having trouble sleeping right now.
Kyoya then heard his phone ringing, he picked it up and saw he received a message from Asuka. Curious about it he opens the message to read it.
'Are you still awake?'
Kyoya replied saying yes, Asuka sent another message.
'I know it's late, but do you want to hang out?'
Kyoya blinked before he thought about it and replied back.
'Sure.'
After meeting up with Asuka, the two childhood friends soon went to a convenience store. After buying some drinks and snacks they were now seated on a bench to enjoy them.
Asuka ate a pocky stick and slowly enjoyed the flavor of it.
"Hmmm…It's been a while since I enjoyed a good pocky." Asuka said before she ate another one.
"I can see that." Kyoya said before he ate a mini donut. "You know, it's almost like we're kids again. When we used to sneak out at night to that old candy store to enjoy a good snack or two."
Asuka chuckles to remember that before she picks up a donut as well.
"Yeah, but I always remember our parents scolding us for it." She said before she ate the donut. "They always tell us to watch what we eat. Or if we eat too many sweets, we'll get cavities."
"They were right about the latter though." Kyoya said before he drank his soda can.
"And then I had to go to the dentist to get my teeth fixed. But strangely, you didn't have to go to the dentist back then." Asuka said.
"Well, you know Tou-san, he's always been paranoid about those kinds of things. I think he was worried that if he let any doctor do a check up on me, they might find out the truth. So he had called in a friend of his to fix my teeth." Kyoya said, and Asuka chuckled to hear that.
"That does sound like him alright." She said, and Kyoya chuckled.
"Yeah. It does." Kyoya said before he looked at Asuka. "Why did you really me out here?"
"I just wanted to hang out, and I wanted to help cheer you up." Asuka said before Kyoya lowered his head.
"So I was that obvious?" Kyoya asked.
"You have fooled the others, but you can't fool me." Asuka said. "Did that reunion of yours really bother you that much?"
Kyoya sighed.
"Well, I would be lying to say that it didn't." Kyoya said before he drank some of his soda.
"I don't blame you. After what you said about him, he sounds like nothing but an asshole to me." Asuka said before she ate a pocky.
Kyoya chuckles to heart.
"An asshole huh? I never thought I could hear that coming out of a magical girl's mouth." Kyoya said.
"Well, you should know that I'm not an average magical girl." Asuka said.
"Yeah, that's true." Kyoya said before he ate a pocky. "He might be an ass, but there are times that I wonder if he's right."
Asuka was surprised by that before she turned to him.
"You do?" Kyoya nodded.
"Yeah. Don't get me wrong, I don't exactly share his views on the Amazons anymore. But that still doesn't change the fact that most of them are walking time bombs that will go off at any moment. Especially Mamoru." Kyoya said before he lowered his head. "He's still a sweet kid, but sometimes I can't help but worry that one day he might attack someone, worse that he might kill an innocent person."
"Kyoya…" Asuka said.
"And there's me…" Kyoya said before he grabbed onto his Register. "I might have it under control. But…every day I worry all the time that one day, I'll lose control of myself. That one day…I'll be nothing but a feral beast…that will do nothing but kill and ea-"
Asuka placed a hand on his shoulder and Kyoya turned to her.
"It won't come to that!" She shouted. "I promise you, I won't let that happen."
"Asu-chan…" Kyoya mutters.
"Even if by some chance that you'll lose control of yourself, then don't worry, I promise I'll be there to bring you back to your senses." Asuka told him, and Kyoya was surprised by that.
"You'll…really do that for me?" Kyoya asked, Asuka smiled and nodded.
"Of course. No matter what happens, I'll always be there for you Kyo-kun. I promise." Asuka said.
Kyoya then becomes teary-eyed before he wipes away the tears as he soon chuckles.
"Honestly…I don't know why but talking to you always puts me at ease." Kyoya said.
"It's only natural that way. Because we're friends. And it goes both ways too." Asuka said, Kyoya blinks in confusion before she rests her head on his shoulder which causes him to blush a little. "Just being beside you helps put me at ease too."
Kyoya was a little hesitant at first before he placed an arm on her shoulders.
"I'm…glad to hear that." Kyoya said, and Asuka smiled.
Despite the awkwardness they both felt, just sitting here and enjoying the nice night breeze felt nice to both Kyoya and Asuka. It makes them wish that this moment would last forever.

(Then it changes to Kyoya who was looking at the sky before he looked at his hand. Then memories flash in his mind, how he met Asuka when they were children, how they used to play with each other, and where Kyoya was crying on her chest as he had woken up from a horrible nightmare. Kyoya then closes his eyes as he grits his teeth before he looks at the ground.)

(Then Kyoya puts on his Amazon Driver and transforms into Omega.)

(Then it changes to Mamoru and Kurumi smiling at the screen, before they change form with Mamoru as the Mole Amazon and Kurumi as War Nurse.)

(Then changes to Mia as Just Cause resting her weapon on her shoulder.)

(Then changes to Tamara as Phoenix looks at her hand, and changes to Peipei as her past appearance before it changes to her present day appearance before she opens her eyes.)

(Then changes to Abigail as Pick Scissors slashing with her scissor like blades, and soon changes to the masked Brigadier before she shows the lower portion of her face to show her sinister smile. Then it changes to an army of Amazons and Disas as both groups have a red light in their eyes. Before it suddenly changes to Alpha with his back against the screen before he turns to it.)

(Then it changes to both Kyoya and Asuka in a wounded state as they were both lying on the ground in front of each other. They then slowly open their eyes before they slowly reach out and grab each other's hand before they tighten their hold.)

(Then the screen turns, as it shows the Amazon Cells before they rapidly begin to spread as the Cells turns the screen black.)

(Then in that darkness an Amazon with red eyes appeared out of nowhere before it jumped forward, before everyone turned white.)
