Willow gently rested her head on Oz's chest, tired down to the bones from making love. He gladly accepted her, moving his arms to envelope her in a combination of protection and love. It was during moments just like this that she would imagine their future together. She dreamed of walking down the aisle in a white silk gown, and he would be waiting for her dressed in a black-as-night tuxedo with green hair, just because that was the color he chose.
"Do you ever think about it?" she asked him suddenly, tilting her head back so she could look at him.
He answered with a "Hmm?" and gently began stroking her hair.
"Us. Later on, I mean. Maybe with wedding bells?"
His eyes were closed, and a sleepy smile spread across his face. "My favorite kind of bells."
She let out a little giggle and continued, "It could be us, you know, in a park with the sun shining -- no full moons, of course. That would be bad."
Oz let out an amused breath.
"And I guess, with Angel being gone now and everything…" Her sentence trailed off, remembering her heartbroken best friend.
"Shh," he soothed, trying to calm her down and hoping that the thoughts in her head would calm down. Brushing a kiss to her lips seemed to ease her worry.
"Thanks," came her sigh of relief. She went on as plans of their wedding sailed through her mind. "So, we'll be in the park, and it'll be sunny, and I'll be wearing a gorgeous gown, and you'll look all handsome like you always do. Then we can have the reception and dance all night long." She paused and frantically searched his face. "You'll never leave me, right?"
He kissed her again. A kiss full of passion, love, and hope. "Never."
