I wrote this a year ago..so flamers- well..go ahead and do your thing..I could care less.
Endless Depth of Loneliness
A/N: Ok, I'm not really good at writing stories (never really tried), but every once in a while I decide to write down scenes I've imagined with Harry Potter characters. The following "scene" is one that I wrote when I was probably really sad or something. I'm not sure, but it's probably Ginny's point of view…I can't remember. I think this is kind of boring, but I'm obliged to post it because of my BPB (best pirate buddy) LynnieSparrow. Also, you'll see that it doesn't really seem to have to do with Harry Potter…it's just a story. So if you were hoping to read something good you might as well just leave now.
Disclaimer: I don't own either of the two characters in this scene; if I knew who the two people were I'd say who they were, but I obviously don't. Does that make any sense? Probably not…
Now here they were. Rain falling heavily, thunder rumbling all around, and daggers being thrown at her heart.
He looked into her round, deep-sea-of-blue eyes with that sense of endless depth. She was about to cry…she always did. And he always hated it.
Three years gone down the drain. And now they were falling apart.
She wanted to turn around and run away, but this was her chance to prove herself—to show him exactly how strong she really was. If she started breaking down now, it was all over. He would laugh that once joyous laughter gone cruel.
All of this was wrong. It wasn't supposed to be like this. What happened to the times when they cuddled up together on those stormy nights? What happened to the romantic dinners on the rooftop? Or even the small surprises; like a single rose on her doorstep.
The romance was gone. There was no more, none, zero, zilch…it was over.
She never dared to mention this to him for fear he might throw her out on the street, abuse her, curse her, or give some other cruel punishment. It's not that she wasn't used to this by now. I mean three years is three years. Can't go back now.
She finally looked away as more tears fell down her pale face. She didn't make a move to wipe them in any way. Though they had only been standing for a couple of minutes it seemed like a whole lifetime was passing them by.
He was the first to break the silence.
"I didn't do anything, ok? We went for a walk and I got her a drink—she was depressed," said the man she once loved.
"You told me you went out with the guys for a drink…you didn't say there was a girl involved," she looked up with confusion.
"Didn't you listen to the message I gave you?"
"You never leave messages, and I never get any calls, why should I check it? Plus, I thought you hated all these muggle technologies. Guess you've changed…I don't know you anymore…you're never home…" she said the last part slowly, afraid of his reaction.
"Damn it girl, you always bring that up. I have business to do, people to see. I can't be home all the time!" he yelled.
She sighed and gave him a look that plainly stated 'I've had enough', and then walked into her room without comment.
That night as she lay on her bed she had a dream about a handsome young man riding a horse through the forest. He held out his hand to her, but as she tried to reach for it she fell. It was over.
A/N: AHHHHHHH! Ok, I don't know what happened there at the end, but I just put that there. This was such a stupid and pointless fic! Lynnie- why did you make me post this? Mwahaha, I blame this on you.
