Pale Fire Ch. 13

Rose found herself standing in the middle of a forest, everything around her was destroyed, moving slowly past the burning village, she could see bodies of the villagers' spread out across the fields. Gasping at the sight of children as little as 5 hanging from the trees.

Shaking her head, this couldn't be right, this had to be a dream. Looking down at her arm, she started pinching it, "OUCH." No, this couldn't be right, when did this happen? Where was her Khalasar?

"This is what your future looks like." A voice said from beside her.

Snapping her head towards the voice, her eyes taking in R'hllor, "What is this?" Her eyes filled with tears.

Waving his hand, bringing her back to the forest as it was before Tywin Lannister devastated Myr. "This is what will happen to the city of Myr if you were not warned by the Priestess." Finding a log, he plopped down, indicating for her to sit with him.

Inhaling a few times, Rose was grateful that this was just one version of the future, "So, because we are here, this doesn't happen?" She asked as she sat next to him. Hopeful that this wasn't their future.

"Yes. I needed you to see it, so you knew what kind of man and King you were fighting." His eyes burned with rage when he thought of Lannister's.

Rubbing her face, "They are monsters, how could they do this to children?" Her voice filled with anger.

"It was King Joffrey's idea, he thought it was poetic way to show the rest of Essos his might." Taking a moment, he could see that she was shaking. "Don't worry dear Rose, your husband, the horde, and your dragons will eliminate the threat." Smiling at her when her head snapped to his.

Rose could feel her eyebrows in her hair, "Dragons? What dragons?"

Extending his hand, "Ready?" He asked her.

Taking a few deep breaths, she remembered that his version of traveling made her sick, gently closing her eyes, she waited for him to get her to their destination.

Wrapping his hand around hers, he brought her to her tent. "Open your eyes my dear."

Opening her eyes, she found herself standing in the middle of her tent, but what was strange was in the bundle of furs was her husband and her body. It was a bit weird to be having an out of body experience. Knowing that this wasn't what he was meaning to show her, she turned around, finding him stand by her dragon eggs.

Taking a few steps to him, she followed his line of sight, looking down in the chest, she could see that they were glowing red. "Why are you hatching them?" she asked him, her eyes never leaving them.

R'hllor chuckled, "Time to sit my dear, it's time to tell you the story of why you were pulled here." Sitting down in the chair that was next to the dragon eggs.

Pulling up the chair, Rose sat quietly waiting for him to begin. Feeling a bit nervous, she folded her hands across her lap.

"The dragons were meant to come into this world, Viserys was successful in selling Daenerys to the Khal. From the time they were married until they reached Vaes Dothrak, Viserys tormented, threatened her, it was until the Khal poured molten gold over his head did, he meet his end." Taking a second for her to absorb the information, he saw her nod, and he continued.

"For a time, they were happy, but unlike in this time, she never reached out to Robert to denounce her claim to the throne, so several attempts on her life, sent the Khal into a rage, he vowed to sail the Dothraki across the sea to kill the man that dared threaten her."

Rose listened intently, how her being in this world changed everything, from her husband's untimely death, and Daenerys eventual decent into madness because of her anger. What stuck with her was a few things, one, Dani would go crazy if she didn't change her course, her husband would have died before he could fulfill his promise, and it her that was immune to fire. That was a lot, but it did make her wonder, why he interfered, Joffrey was killed in his timeline, and no one even bothered with Essos.

Taking a second to formulate her thoughts, "Why bring me here? Essos was essentially safe."

Sighing, "It's not just Essos that is my realm, all of this world is mine, Westeros would have been in turmoil for close to a decade, whole Houses would have been erased, people that would have been beneficial to keeping some peace were wiped out with the war. While some of that isn't preventable, most of it can be." Taking a moment to look over at her, "He cared for her, but it was mostly because she was weaker than he and he took his job as her husband serious to protect her, you, he truly loves you like no other, sees you not only has his wife, but his equal."

Smiling up at him, "I never doubted that for a second." Letting her eyes fall to the dragon eggs for a moment, smirking as she started seeing the cracks. "What about the Night King, you said he killed one of the Dragons, and another was shot down by Euron Greyjoy."

"In this time, because you have already changed so much, the Night King doesn't wake, and because of that, I was able to seal him in his tomb for eternity, never to walk this earth." Grateful that he was able to do so, while he would have been defeated, the magic that he used to bring back Jon Snow would have weakened him for centuries.

"As for Greyjoy, his reign of terror ends soon, he threatens young Sansa and Arya Stark, and their bastard brother leads the Northman and removes him from power, placing a much better fit on the Salt Throne." He was looking forward to that confrontation, knowing that soon young Jon Snow would come into his own, being named the Warden of the North.

Rose couldn't help but smirk at R'hllor face, who seemed pleased with the coming events. Leaning back, "Having 3 dragons seems a bit excessive for this army, what are you really planning?" She asked him.

R'hllor chuckled, "I do enjoy that you are quiet smart, they will help keep this land safe, but their true destiny is for your great grandchildren." Unable to divulge more.

Smirking at him, "Using my loophole blood to keep the peace? As long as it's for good and not evil, guess I won't complain too much." Taking a moment, "What am I going feed 3 dragons? They can't just eat my horses, or people, at least not good people." Smirking, perhaps she would feed Tywin to one.

"Fish. In the beginning, they will require goat, but I blessed them with growth, intelligence, and understanding that they are not to eat people. In less than a month they will be full grown and fly to the ocean to feed monthly. They will stay with the Khalasar for a while, but eventually they will head to the mountains of Dragonmont, and sleep until they are needed again." Leaning forward, R'hllor watched as Rose processed this information.

Rose blinked a lot, this was so much information, she just hoped when she was placed back in her body, she'd remember. "And who is to ride them during the battle?"

R'hllor couldn't keep the smile off his face even if he wanted to, "You will ride Drogon, he will be the largest of the 3, he will be of black and red. Magnus will be ridden by Dali, he will be cream colored with gold flecks. Finally, Rhaegal will be ridden by Daenerys, he will be of green and bronze." Closing his eyes, he couldn't wait to see them ride over the ocean, obliterating the armada that will be offshore.

Rose gasped, "You know I'm pregnant, right?"

Rolling his eyes, "Yes, my dear, I know. Trust me, you'll be fine. Plus, it will be an amazing sight to see." He could feel his time coming to an end, "It's time my dear, for me to go, and you to return to your body." Making a move to stand, chuckling at her face, "Don't worry, I'll be watching."

Rose stood up, her eyes giving a look over at her sleeping form, "I'll remember all of this, right?"

Gently placing his hands on her shoulder, "That you will my dear," placing a hand on her belly, "Strong, like his brother." Stepping back, "One more bit my dear, Rhogoro will be a great leader, he will have the strength of his father, and your sense of justice. Najo, he will be a great thinker, he will be his brother's Ko, helping him be one of the greatest Khal's of this land." Giving her one last bit of information, "Your daughters, will marry well and with love, have your fighters spirit, but more importantly, start the change you are seeking withing the Dothraki customs."

Rose could feel tears on her face, "Thank you for telling me." Hearing such things brought her comfort.

R'hllor nodded, "You are most welcome." Letting out a sigh, "It's time my dear. Close your eyes and soon you'll be waking and welcoming your dragons to this world."

Closing her eyes, she felt a warmth flow over her body, and soon it was darkness.

As her eyes opened, Rose let her eyes come into focus, her mind immediately going to her dream, if everything that happened was true, her eggs would be hatching. Carefully rolling out from under her husband's arms, Rose carefully got to her feet and made her way towards the chest. Rubbing her belly as she felt her son kicking. "You're excited to meet the dragons, me too." Touching the rim of the chest, she could see that they were cracking, "So, it wasn't just a dream."

Rose never took her eyes off the eggs, enjoying how they glowed. "The three of you are going to help bring peace to this world, and sometime in the future, you'll be taking care of my children's children." Figuring that talking to them would help them recognize her voice.

It took another 10 minutes but soon the babies were busting through the shells, the first one to appear was a dark black one with red scales, "Drogon, well come to the world." Carefully reaching out, touching his nose. Rose couldn't help but smile as he nuzzled her finger. Next came Rhaegal, "Rhaegal, you're so beautiful." Again, touching his nose. Finally, the last egged hatched, "Hello Magnus, I am so excited to see you."

Drogo could hear his wife talking, letting his eyes open, he found her sitting in the chair by her eggs, her back to him. Standing up, he walked over to her, "Moon of my life, who are you talking to?" Moving to stand next to her, his eyes found 3 dragons in her arms. "What is this?"

Rose turned her attention to her husband, "I woke, and they hatched. I had a dream last night, from the Great Stallion, he told me that they would grow as big as mountains, and I, Dali and Daenerys would ride them over the poison water as the Khalasar takes on the army. Burning their wooden horses."

Rubbing her shoulder, he could see the little beasts nuzzling her as though they were her children, if that was what they were to her, they would be his as well. Placing his hands near the largest of the 3, smirking when it rubbed its nose against his hand. "What will you be calling them?" He asked her, curious if she was to name them.

Watching Drogon climb up her husband's arm, coming to rest on his shoulder, of course the biggest and baddest dragon was bonding with his name's sake. "His name is Drogon, he will be the largest of the 3, the eldest."

Smiling down at his wife, "You named him after me." Surprised that she would do that.

Laying her head on his shoulder, "You are my sun and stars, it is not traditional for Dothraki to name their children after their father, this is what I can do for you." Hoping that he was pleased with this.

Kissing her forehead, "I am honored my moon." Looking down at the other two, "Them?"

Lifting them, "This one is Rhaegal, he is the second, and finally this is Magnus." Chuckling as they climbed over her husband, "They like you."

Looking up at his wife, "They will definitely strike fear into the hearts of the men that dare try to take this land from the Dothraki."

Leaning over to kiss him, "The world will soon know the strength that you wield, you are the Great Khal, our son is the Stallion that will continue what you've started, Najo will ride with his brother, guiding him, our legacy, your legacy that will be sung about for many lifetimes." Wanting to honor him in a way that she could.

Staring into her eyes, "I am nothing without you, my moon." Wrapping his arms around her shoulder, he pulled her into a kiss, enjoying how her lips moved against his.

Closing her eyes, enjoying how being in his arms made her body tingle. Before she could really let her body get too wrapped up in the moment, she could hear her Stallion calling out for her. "Our son needs us."

Lifting her up, he could see that her belly was getting bigger by the day, "You tend to our Stallion, I will get the Khalasar ready to move. We should be a few days from Myr. It will give us plenty of time to survey the land and build what is needed for the assault."

Placing a kiss on her forehead, he carefully put the dragons back in the chest, "Be ready to move after you've fed Rhogoro, and your animals."

Rose followed his movement as he left the tent, grateful that he was so accepting to the weird shit that R'hllor was asking of her, but perhaps that's what he meant, his love was beyond measure, always trusting her and treated her like his equal not a prop.

Hearing her toddler's footsteps as he ran to her, Rose knelt down and picked him, "Good morning my Stallion."

"Momma." His eyes focusing on the things moving in the chest. "They mine?"

Picking him up, "Yes, my love." Pointing at them, "Drogon, Magnus, and Rhaegal. They are dragons." Snuggling his neck.

"Dragon's be mine."

Rose watched as his chubby hands reached out, smiling as the babies gently caressed his finger. "One day, my Stallion, one day. Let's get some breakfast."

"Yeah, hungry please."

Smiling at him, Rose gently put him on the ground, letting him walk, "Go find your father." Chuckling as his excited screech had him running out of the tent. Looking down at the dragons, she extended her hand, letting them crawl up her body, "It's time to meet your horde."

It took a few days for the Khalasar to get used to seeing the little dragons, but eventually the other Khals and bloodriders started to accept them, but Rose learned in her time with Dothraki men, they mostly tended to be more brawn than brain. This just made her appreciate her husband and his chosen bloodriders more, while they were still violent men that enjoys bathing in blood, they were willing to think before just acting.

Looking down at her son, he was sitting with Drogon, feeding him cooked goat meat. "My Stallion, are you feeding your dragon?" she asked him.

Looking up at his momma, "Get big, like me and dadda." Looking at his dragon, "Eat."

Rose smiled at him, once he was done feeding Drogon, he moved to his siblings, making sure to give them plenty. All the while chanting eat.

She couldn't help but see that they were really growing, it was only 5 days, and they were now the size of a small horse, not that she doubted R'hllor, but it was a sight. Hearing her son squeal with joy, Rose turned to see that Drogon was letting him sit on his back. "My Stallion are you riding?"

Nodding to his momma, "Up! Drogon is big, like dadda!" Pleased with his friend.

Gently rubbing the dragon's chin, "Thank you." Smiling when she heard his pleasure. That was another thing, while they didn't form words like Chiron or his herd, it was like she could hear their emotions. Looking around her, she found Rhaegal and Magnus eating near their intended riders.

Dali was a bit more apprehensive, but she really did warm up to Magnus, even started calling him the White Death. Saying that he will be the last thing the wooden horses would see before he burnt them.

Dani fell in love with them all immediately, but that was to be expected it was her family line 500 years ago that rode the dragons first, using them to control Westeros, but eventually with all the fighting within the houses, the dragons were killed, so for her, this was redemption to the Targaryen name. She didn't want to give him a nickname, she was pleased that his name was so close to her fallen brother.

Drogon however, while loyal, he was fierce, well unless he was near Rhogoro, then he was just playful, but she was sure that if anyone or anything attempted to harm the boy, he would kill it without fear or hesitation. She would always call him by his name, but sometimes she would refer to him as the Black Death.

As she watched them, she could see that they were spreading their wings, getting ready to fly over the cliffs. Gently taking her son off Drogons back, she gently touched them all, "Spread your wings, my children." Smiling when they all took off, it was beautiful to watch them use the Tradewinds to rise high into the sky.

Rhogoro watched them over the ocean, "Go soon?" he asked his mother.

Kissing his chubby cheek, "When they are a little bigger, we will fly." Laughing as he screamed with joy, putting him down on the ground, she watched as he ran towards his father his arms spread, screaming fly over and over again.

Shaking her head, she could see that he was gifted like her when it came to the horses, and now the dragons, he didn't show any fear being on top of the horses, nor his Drogon, if anything she was sure that if she let him, he'd attempt to ride either animal alone.

Moving through the khalasar she could see that the men stepped aside, and the woman lowered their eyes, the Dosh Khaleen sang that she was human vessel to speak for the Great Stallion, so now her people treated her as though she was a goddess, much to her displeasure, but instead of fighting it or acting any different than she always has, she still sat with them when they ate, walked her Khalasar checking in on the people she's come to recognize, and even picking up their children when they reach up for her.

Seeing her son sit with his father and the other Khals, she found herself with her ladies, sitting with them around the fire. She could see the annoyance of the other Khaleesi's, it wasn't normal for others to join them at this fire, but Rose didn't care, they were her bloodriders and unless they wanted to elsewhere, they would be welcome.

Dani looked up at her Khaleesi, smiling up at her, "How are you feeling?" she asked, knowing that this pregnancy was a little harder on her.

Sitting next to her and Dali, Rose rubbed her belly, "Better, I tend to get tired more, and I swear my belly is bigger than it was with my Stallion at this stage, but we are fine and healthy." Knowing that they were waiting for this battle to be over with before they attempted to have more children.

Dali looked over at her son climbing on his father, pleased to see that Haggo was a great father. "Perhaps your son will be as large as my brother, and then you will have two giants."

Irri just chuckled, "Can you imagine, two boys the size of the Great Khal, they will bring fear into the hearts of all men." Finishing her mare's milk, her eyes caught Lari looking over at them, "Seems like Iagans former slave is doing well within the horde."

Rose looked up, seeing the young woman in question tend to the children, of the horde, in the beginning she was scared of her own shadow, but given with how Iagan treated her, threatened her with rape, it was to be expected, but what was not expected was how Rakharo took to her. He cared for her, and protected her, and recently married her.

"I'm happy for them, soon they will welcome another child into the horde." Knowing that she stopped drinking the Stoneseed tea a few weeks ago. Feeling her son kick, she gently placed her hand over her belly, "Najo is getting impatient, perhaps he's taking after you Dali." She teased. If she counted correctly, she'd have another 2 months before he was due.

Rolling her eyes, "He's more like his father, knowing that there is a fight, he wants to see it." Hearing her son squeal, smiling at his antics. "After we have won, I am going to fuck my husband senseless, and give him another son." Smirking at the other women.

Dani and Irri shared a looked, but Dani couldn't help but laugh, "I've promised mine that I will give him a daughter, then another son." While she loved her boy, she wanted a little girl too.

Irri chuckled, "I've made no such promises, but I did say he could fuck me until we both pass out!" She said to the group. Letting out a sigh, she found her son playing with his father, attempting to climb on his back. "Lajakko, your father is not a tree!"

Dani couldn't help but laugh, "I think that all of our boys are a bit wild. Rhaego doesn't seem to care that his father is busy." Her eyes shining with delight as all four toddlers sat around the Khals and bloodriders.

Drogo looked down at his son who was sitting on his lap, he swore the boy could understand more than most children. He watched as he listened intently to Khal Zekko go on about the construction of the weapons.

Rubbing the back of his head, he could see that his mother was training his hair to be up in the braid, for when he was 10, he would fight against the other children his age, and if he won, he would start earning the right to braid his hair.

Moro looked at the little boy on his lap, while he wasn't as dark at Drogo, his face and eyes were all his father, and given the size of young child now, he was going to be easily as big if not bigger than the man. He truly was the Stallion.

Hours have passed and the leaders formulated their plans, they were all in agreement, to let the army come ashore, and let them start the process of setting up their camps, but while they were busy, have the horde flank around them, using the cliffs for the arrows to rain down upon them.

Drogo looked around, wanting to finalize their plans, while they still had a few weeks before their arrival, it was better to run through their plans a dozen more times. "We hold steady until we see the fire over the poison water, it will cause the cowards to turn around, then we ride towards the army, killing them all!"

Shouting out their agreements and joys of war, the Khals stood and headed to their perspective tents, knowing that in the coming weeks training, scouting, and eventually the actual battle, resting when it was appropriate was necessary.

Drogo looked over the men, each of his bloodriders holding their sons, it was a wonderful sight, while Rhogoro was the eldest by several months it was good that they were so close in age, he would have several good choices for when it was his turn to pick his bloodriders. "Rest my friends, for when dawn breaks the horizon, we begin our preparations."

Walking into his tent, Drogo placed his now sleeping son on his furs, "Sleep well my Stallion." Letting down the curtain that separated their spaces he turned to find his wife laying on her side and bare before his eyes. "My moon, I need to feel you." Knowing that he sounded desperate, but he fucking didn't care, she was his.

Extending her hand to him, "Than feel me my sun and stars." Feeling his hand in hers, Rose pulled him towards her, directing him to lay on his back. Untying the top of his pants, Rose chuckled as he lifted his ass, soon his cock was pointing proudly towards the sky. Licking her lips, "What do you want my Khal?" She asked him.

Sitting up, he carefully picked her up, holding her up just above his cock, "Ride me my Moon." Lowering her down he could feel the tip of his cock slowly entering her body. Letting his eyes linger on how his cock was disappeared into her body, "So tight. Milk my cock." He groaned as his balls touched her ass, nothing in this world felt as good as his cock deep in her pussy.

Tilting her head back as she sunk down on his dick. Keeping her hands wrapped around his forearms, Rose lifted her herself slowly off his cock, taking it to the point of just the tip was inside of her. Hearing him groan was enough to send her into overdrive, sinking back down, she rolled her hips as he thrusted upwards.

Starting with a slower rhythm wanting to enjoy feeling her husband beneath her, she could feel her body stretching out a ran him, "My Khal, harder." Using her thighs to hold herself on to him, Rose picked up the pace, wanting to reach her orgasm, which she could feel deep in her belly.

Drogo kept his hands attached to her arms as he pushed himself upwards, his eyes watching hers seeing them glow like the sun sinking below the horizon. Moving down her body, seeing the sweat slowly trickle down her neck, sitting up, he let his tongue lick it off of her body, chuckling as she shuttered around him.

Moving his arm around her back and the other on the back of her neck, he rolled them until she was under him, always being mindful of the belly. Sitting back against his heels, Drogo lifted her legs over his shoulders, driving himself deeper into her body. He could feel his body wanting to release his seed, but he wanted to feel her first.

Slipping his hand between their bodies, finding the little nub at the entrance of her pussy, he used his knuckle to rub against it as he pushed his cock into her body. "Let me feel you, my moon."

Rose gasped when he touched her clit, "Fuck." She murmured out. Feeling the coil in her body spring, Rose grabbed his arms squeezing them as she rode her orgasm, clenching her body she could feel him holding out for her. "Fill me my Khal."

Hearing her plead for him was his undoing, slowly stroking his cock in her body, his eyes rolled back. Gripping her hips Drogo slammed his cock into her body as he emptied his seed into her. "Take all of me." He gasped out. Groaning as her pussy clamped down around him, milking him dry.

Feeling himself fall forward, Drogo carefully took his cock out of her body, and fell to her side. Pulling her close to his chest, "I will never get tired of feeling you around me." Placing a kiss on her neck, smirking when she shivered.

Rose gently stroked his arms, enjoying how they wrapped around her body. It always made her feel wanted and safe. "I will never get tired of you inside my body either."

Letting out a sigh, Rose could feel her body relaxing, placing a hand behind her head the other on her belly, smiling when she felt Najo nudge her a bit. "In my dream the morning the dragons hatched; I was told that Najo would make a Ko for Rhogoro when it was time. But how did you choose your bloodriders?" She asked him, curious about the process.

Drogo moved some hair out of her face, enjoying having her turn in his arms, he loved looking into her face. Taking a moment to think about her question, he could only just give her the answer, "We were raised together, much like your friends' children are being raised with our Stallion. I learned to fight with them, went to war with them when we were finally old enough. Seeing their skills, helped me choose, not only could I trust them, but I knew that they were skilled with their arakh." Giving her a swift kiss, "Does that answer your questions my moon?"

"I may have a few more." She said smiling up at him. Chuckling when he just nodded. "When does Rhogoro become the Khal? Do you have to be dead?" She asked him, hoping that it wasn't the case.

Shaking his head, "No, moon of my life. If I am blessed to see our son become a strong and powerful leader, I can step aside, but he will be challenged by the others, for they will want to see his strength and skill. Only a strong Khal can lead, the Khalasar will not follow the weak." It was the Dothraki way.

Letting out a little yawn, "One more I promise then I will sleep."

Chuckling at his wife, "Only one." He said, kissing her lips softly.

Letting her hand caress his face, "When does his training start?" Figure that once he is read to start training, she would teach him what her father taught her.

Tucking her head into his chest, "On his fifth name day, he begins learning how to ride alone, hunt, and fight. First, he will learn to fight with just his hands, as he grows weapons will be added, but he must master each on before he is allowed to touch his arakh."

Knowing that she would want to teach her skills as well, while it wasn't traditional, he knew that between learning his fighting skills from him and his mother, he would be one of the deadliest Khals that have ever rode across these lands. "You can teach him all of what you know, but it must be done in private of our tent, I don't want anyone saying anything about it. We've dealt with so much when we claimed you and Rhogoro, I'd rather not have the headache."

Snorting at her husband, while she thought it was stupid, she could agree, attempting to introduce something else new to the Khalasar would probably send some of the people over the edge. Perhaps even making them think that she was trying to change how the Dothraki were.

"Me either, I promise my sun and stars, I will train all of our children in the safety of our tent." Placing a last kiss on his lips, "My Khal, tomorrow we prepare for this war, with you leading our horde, I know that you will kill those who dared come to this land with arrogance in their hearts, they will learn the true might of your vengeance." While there was nothing guaranteed in war, she knew that with Drogo leading the assault, their chances of succeeding were increased.

Feeling warmth roll through his chest, Drogo pulled her closer, "My moon, I will not promise you anything but this, I will bring down the wrath and might of our Khalasar. With the help of the Sky Herd and now the Dragons, the world will know of our might, and our gifts from the Great Stallion."

Placing a small kiss over his heart, Rose knew that she would do everything in her power to make sure that not only the Khalasar was successful but do what she could to make sure that children were protected and that their future had a real chance of something amazing, free, and theirs.

Closing her eyes, she quickly dozed off, her dreams filled with visons of her sons playing and riding, just as a young child should be carefree and happy.
