Hey guys, I'm baaaaack with a NEW CHAPTER!
Yes, I'm finally updating this story again and I want to apologize to all of you who have been wanting a new chapter and the reason why I didn't want to update sooner was because I didn't know how to go forward with this story. So, if anyone wants to help, tell me your idea in you review.
Royal Woods Elementary School...
It's been almost two weeks since the Loud family almost lost their home to demolition because of the machinations of a certain red-haired rich boy named Chandler. Speaking of him, there was a warrant out for his arrest... well, return to his ever so worried parents as according to rumors, he apparently skipped town. As for those construction workers he hired, they were arrested, put on trial in a court of law, and rather than be fired, they were instead put on administrative leave for the time being.
As for the Loud family, they were 50% away from reaching their goal. With the help of their friends Clyde, Ronnie Anne and Bobby, their grandfather Albert, who showed up to see how they were doing before the whole debacle with Chandler occurred, and their neighbor Mr. Grouse watching over them, their combined efforts were slowly but surely making money to post bail for Lori, Luan, Leni and Rita, and help Luna, Lynn Sr, as well as Lynn Jr. get out of the hospital. Going back to the aforementioned incident with Chandler, this boosted their chances of moneymaking, so ironically the Loud family really should thank Chandler, hopefully they can make their due before something else instrumentally bad happens like when they nearly lost their home.
At the lockers, Lincoln, Clyde, Liam, Zach, Ronnie Anne and Rusty were getting their things out of their respective lockers.
Ronnie: "Hey Lincoln, it's been a week since the whole Chandler thing."
Clyde: "Yeah, you think he's given up?"
Lincoln: I doubt it but hey, you never know."
Ronnie then shut her locker.
Ronnie: "See you guys later. (looks to Lincoln) You should watch your back though Linc, you never know when the rich jerk might strike."
Lincoln: "I'll try to keep that in mind."
The tomboy then walked away, leaving the five boys at their lockers.
Rusty: "So, guys? What do you say we go to Gus' after school?"
Zach: "I'm down for it."
Liam: "So am I."
Clyde: "Sure, I got time."
Lincoln thought about it for a bit before nodding.
Lincoln: "Sure, I'll tell my family about it, so they don't worry."
Lincoln picked his phone out of his pocket and called the house phone.
Mr. Grouse: (on the other line) "Hello?"
Lincoln: "Hey, Mr. Grouse. It's me Lincoln. I'm going to go to Gus' with my friends. Are you and Pop-Pop okay with watching girls for a couple of hours?"
The old man thought about this for a bit.
Mr. Grouse: "Okay, just make sure you're back before sundown Loud. I'll be sure to inform your grandpa about this too."
Lincoln: "Sure thing, Mr. Grouse. Thank you."
After that, Lincoln put his phone back into his pocket as he turned back to his friends.
Lincoln: "Alright, let's go."
As Lincoln and his friends walked away, something was watching them.
At Gus' Game n' Grub...
The sounds of electronic devices and sound effects filled most of the pizzeria as Lincoln and Clyde were playing against each other in a dance game as their friends cheered them both on.
Lincoln: "I'm gonna win this Clyde!"
Clyde: "Don't be so sure buddy!"
After a few minutes, the game ended with both Lincoln and Clyde having to lean on each other for support as they were both exhausted from dancing so much.
Lincoln's score 1,670.
Clyde's score was 1,664.
Lincoln: "Looks like I won Clyde."
Clyde: "Well it was fun regardless."
After catching their breath, the two friends stepped off the dancing pad to allow two of their other friends a chance to play the game.
Suddenly, something gooey hit Lincoln in the face.
Lincoln: "Ah! What the heck?"
Before anyone could ask the Loud lad, what hit him, Clyde, Rusty, Zach and Liam were hit by the same gooey thing in quick succession.
Lincoln wiped his face off and saw it that it was yellow paint and saw the rubbery remains of balloons. The others wiped the different colored paint and looked up as they saw was really surprising.
It was a flying drone, an expensive looking drone by the way it looked.
The screen on the front than came to life as someone they all knew and went missing for a while appeared laughing at their expense.
Lincoln, Clyde, Liam, Zach and Rusty: "CHANDLER!"
Chandler: "Hey losers! Enjoy the paintjob?"
Liam: "What's wrong Chandler? Too chicken to face us yourself without this high n' mighty contraption!"
Chandler: "It's called "Leveling the playing field" Country Boy." (Looks to Lincoln) Anyways, Loud, I wanted to apologize, and I mean really apologize for what I did to you and your family. I hate to admit this even to myself, but I'll admit that I went way too far on that stunt. If you choose not to forgive me, I understand."
Lincoln: (Thinks this over) "Should I forgive him or not?"
The boys around him awaited his answer.
Hey everyone, I'm so sorry I haven't updated this story in a long time. The reasons why are because I've been writing chapters for my other stories, and I've been having a bit of writer's block for this story in particular. I know it's awful but what can you do?
On the plus side, I've been watching more of the Loud House recently, and that's really helped with my motivation to continue this story, also I've watched the first episode of The Really Loud House which amplified my motivation to continue this story.
So, thanks to all of you for having stuck around when I didn't update this story. I'll see you all next time.
