(This is a bit of a shorter chapter than some of the normal ones I have been putting out, but this is kind of like a setup chapter to go into bigger things for the next chapter.)

"This is Dr. Elena Richardson, log entry 002 - subject analysis of Doom Slayer. January 24th, 2163. There is no chance that the subject is a demon - we have blood samples pulled from Mars base event that show his blood type is AB positive. He is male with a genome that makes him very much a member of the human race, but the enhanced strength, speed, and athleticism would indicate otherwise. But we can see from the blood samples that there are foreign bodies present of unknown origin. I cannot as a contributing member of the scientific community agree with the assumption by some of my colleagues that he is, for lack of a better word...a God. An avenging angel - the right hand of Doom here to save humanity from its sins. But... I cannot ignore that the timing of his arrival - the identity of his enemies - the fire and brimstone element to this catastrophe we currently find ourselves in has...it-it-it has definitely shaken my scientific resolve."

"This is Dr. Elena Richardson, log entry 005 - subject analysis of Doom Slayer. February 2nd, 2163. Maybe he is a God. Maybe he represents human kind's rage - their will to persevere, to overcome that which would threaten our survival. He is uncompromising, a relentless being of violence that knows no mention of the hesitation shown by our many leaders and politicians during our time of judgment. Can he overcome them? Alone? If he can't - we, as a species, ALL species, will not survive."

"Elena Richardson, log entry 006. February 9th, 2163. The only thing they fear - is him. We watched as the horde overwhelmed the very best and most advanced machinery and weapons technology that we could muster against the opposition. It was useless, they moved too quickly, they cared not for themselves, only sought out the blood of humanity. They were willing to sacrifice their own to get to the heart of our world. We slaughtered thousands and millions more followed, but then he came - he cut through them like...like a sickle through a field - his fury surpassing their own. He is faster - more relentless. I believe him now to be more than just a man - he is...DOOM."

"And with him lies our salvation. For as he gains in strength so do they fall in numbers. The Priests command the armies to the North and South, but he controls the fight. The inner circle of death is where he resides - hunting them at the far reaches of the earth and beyond. I am a believer now - I feel it is in DOOM that I have faith. The Slayer is the spear that stabs at the heart of our attackers, and those that would seek to harm us should feel warned - for there is only one dominant life form in this universe and it carries a steel barreled sword of vengeance. All hail the coming of the Destroyer - the Slayer's time is now."

The audio log ended and Lucifer crossed both of his arms and leaned against the wall in the master bedroom. This was now his second time listening to all of the logs and it was his wife's very first time listening to it. She was as dumbfounded as he was when he first heard it.

"This..this is about the human right?" Lilith figured that was the case but felt like she had to ask anyways.

"Yes. I mean, as far I am concerned I don't know who else it could be of. I mean it talks about a man with enhanced speed, strength, and athleticism. That doesn't sound like any demon I know of," Lucifer responded.

"Yes of course," Lilith said. She started to think about something before speaking again. "Where did you even get these?"

"I wish I knew. I swear to you that they just appeared on my phone during the Extermination. Knowing the way technology works SOMEONE had to put these on my phone but I don't understand how anyone could ever have these," Lucifer responded with a shrug of the shoulders.

"Could Vox be a suspect of who sent you those logs?" Lilith asked and also suggested.

"He is probably the only logical suspect. But if someone like Vox had this data, he would make sure all of hell knew it came from him instead of just anonymously sending it to me," Lucifer responded.

"I cannot argue with that," Lilith said with a small chuckle as Vox was someone who liked to showboat.

"Yes. Yes he does," Lucifer said in a bit of a lower tone as he wasn't finding much humor right now.

Lilith could tell that her husband was a little annoyed. He usually would get that way at times when he couldn't find a solution to a problem that has been nagging him for some time. She decided to try and help him with other things she noticed from the logs. "The dates that this woman said are also something to notice. I remembered that she mentioned the year 2163."

"Exactly," Lucifer said as he was glad she picked that up as well. He began to slowly pace as he spoke, "This log was apparently 141 years in the future. THE literal fucking future. Is this supposed to tell us that this guy comes from the literal future? Cause that shouldn't be possible," Lucifer said as well. He was somewhat right but the Slayer comes from a timeline where the world is a lot more advanced and probably wouldn't look the same as this timeline would look in the year 2163.

"You mentioned it before that all this human does shouldn't be possible. At this point, it shouldn't be surprising that he is still finding ways to accomplish feats that have never been done before. If that's the case then this...Doom Slayer went back in time to our day," Lilith said finally calling him by a proper title and not by the title of 'human.'

Lucifer let out a small sigh. "Yes, yes, you are right. I have said that many times. Perhaps I shouldn't be shocked by this." Lucifer said. He then began to slowly pace to the other side of the room. "He HAS to be here for some bigger purpose than what I originally thought. That has to be the reason why he isn't leaving hell. I have zero clue why a human would willingly stay here. As before all I can make are assumptions because he won't say. And with my assumptions, I can assume that he knows something that we all don't."

"What do we do about this then?" Lilith asked.

"I...I don't know. I mean these logs just bring up question after question. This women keeps referring to something but doesn't give an actual name. Just uses the word they or them. They moved too quickly, the only thing THEY fear is him, hunting THEM at the far reaches of the earth, they cared not for themselves. Like what the hell is this referring to? Is this man some kind of earthly protector that fights some kind of creature? These logs make it out to seem that this human is used to fighting what sounds like literal FUCKING wars," Lucifer said coming up with his own assumption. That would be all anyone could do was assume.

"Also I noticed that this woman also believes he is the rank of a god," Lilith mentioned as well.

"Yes, I did catch that as well. But she literally stated evidence that he is a human. So how the hell did he achieve god status? Heavenly beings do not just bestow power on humans out of the literal blue. Unfortunately, this woman didn't give us a straight answer," Lucifer brought up.

"Maybe...maybe heaven chose him for some reason. Maybe they found a way to give him the power of a god by bestowing great power onto him. You use to read Charlotte those stories about mortals who were worthy and achieved great power," Lilith said. Which in a way was a little true, but still not quite.

"Perhaps. But this man isn't some folk tale being. In the sense of the real world, I don't think something like that is even possible. I know that my father never did anything like that to any mere mortal and never would. I realize this log is from many years in the future and who knows, maybe my...my father found some way to do that. But why on fucking earth would he ever do such a thing?" Lucifer said as he started to think hard about this one.

"Maybe it had to be done. There could have been some event that they needed someone to stop it?" Lilith suggested. "I did remember in that final log that there was a mention of priests sending out an army and talking about how that human controls the fight. That could also be a good way to look at it that he is from heaven."

"Priests are just devoted human fools who wish to believe every single thing in the world is my father's doing. My father is the literal creator of this realm, of this universe. I still do not believe that literal God and all of the archangels that reside in heaven couldn't solve whatever damn problem they had on their own. But hell, I guess the world can fucking change in 141 years can it?" Lucifer responded as he truly didn't know how the world works anymore.

"It is possible. Hell and Earth can go through large changes in that amount of time too," Lilith said which was very true. If you compared the year 1881 and 2022, you would see an entirely new world with tons of changes.

"Who really can say at this point," Lucifer said as he sat himself down on the edge of the bed. He began to rub his forehead as he and his wife could have gone back and forth about twenty times about different ideas of what these logs meant and who the Slayer really is.

Lilith decided to walk over to and set on the edge of the bed right next to Lucifer to try and put him at ease. "Since you have struck a small amount of gold. What shall you do with it?"

"What do you mean by that?" Lucifer asked as he looked up to look his wife in the eyes.

"Well, you finally have something about this human that you have been waiting to find out. I know how curious you have been but I also know who else has been extremely curious," Lilith responded.

"You?" Lucifer responded.

"Okay yes, I'll give you that one. But I'm talking about something much bigger than just me," Lilith said as she made a hand motion to illustrate something big.

"You mean hell don't you?" Lucifer asked as he figured that's what she meant by bigger.

"Exactly. They are pretty curious too," Lilith said.

"Hmph. I suppose they are." Lucifer started to rub his chin as he thought about that. In a way, he might as well release that information because there isn't a huge advantage or disadvantage to keeping it to himself. But then again, he doesn't lose or gain anything by releasing it to hell. "Due to the fact that no one else in hell has posted or said anything about these logs leads me to believe I am the only one who possesses them. If I do release these, I have to find the best way to do so where everyone can see."

"Perhaps the news station could be a good spot. The majority of hell does tune into 666 News," Lilith said.

"I'd rather not give that snotty bitch Killjoy any sort of big news story such as this. Perhaps I could go to Vox, as much as I don't want to. He obviously is very good with technology, and all of hell practically owns a phone. Maybe he could distribute these files onto other everyone's phones so they all can listen at their disposal," Lucifer said coming up with another possible game plan.

"That is definitely an idea," Lilith said.

"I will take the rest of this cleanse to think on what I will do next. Now that I have this new information about the human, it will make things a lot more interesting," Lucifer stated and he was absolutely right.

Hazbin Hotel

The Slayer was still working on his armor ever since his return from his battle with the Exterminators. He had fully cleaned himself up, especially the blood from the wound he had. He was about halfway through cleaning up his armor as he finished the bottom half of the armor not too long ago and was working on the top half of his armor. It definitely was a bit of an odd feeling for him to be sitting here bare-chested as nowadays he always was wearing armor. His work was interrupted as he got a few knocks outside of the door. He had a feeling of who was going to be on the other side.

The Slayer got to his feet and walked over to the door. He wouldn't bother putting all his armor on and his helmet. It wasn't like he cared if anyone saw his bare chest or his face. He opened the door to find the person he completely expected to be on the other side, Charlie.

"Oh!" Charlie said as she did not expect to see the Slayer without anything covering his upper half. To her, it like was seeing someone with a big beard for so long and then seeing them after they shave it. But even to her surprise, she did find herself looking at him. Charlie was still interested in anything involving human complexion and he was still the first human she had ever seen and now the first human body she had ever seen. Another part was that Charlie was a bisexual so it wasn't like she would deny that he had attractive qualities, and besides, no demon in hell has as much muscle as him. His pecs were massive, his shoulders were extremely broad, and he had washboard abs. Something the majority of hell did not have. Another thing she noticed was that he also had his helmet off so it felt a little more normal to look at him instead of having to pull his helmet off while he was in a coma. At this point, her subconscious kicked her to tell her that she had been looking a little too long and hadn't said a word. "S-Sorry. I just have only seen you with that full suit of armor you have that I did not expect to see you without it." She said with a nervous chuckle. "Anyways, may I come in? I just wanted to talk to you for a moment."

The Slayer stared down at her for several seconds before slowly turning around and walking back into his room. Due to the fact that he did not slam the door right in Charlie's face and told her that she could come in. So she did exactly that as she walked in and shut the door behind her as she wanted to keep this a private conversation. She knew the others at the hotel too well and the fact that they loved secret information.

As the Slayer walked towards his armor, Charlie noticed something and wondered if she should keep it to herself. When she was looking at his upper body, she noticed the exact same pattern that she saw on his face. Tons of scars. She could see it on his chest, his forearms, his arms, and now, his back. It was a large amount of scarring that you could never see under all that armor of his. It looked like a ton of cuts, some deeper than others. Some of them had a few cuts in a perfect pattern, the look of a claw mark. Charlie really began to feel bad for him as she really wondered who or what caused all of that. It made her really wonder about where he came from and what his past truly had in store. It really made her think that he had a lot of pain that he was holding onto and a lot of pain he was trying to keep inside. It's mainly why she didn't know if she should ask about it, it may open up old wounds or in this case, scars.

The Slayer sat down on the bed and continued to clean his armor while Charlie pulled up a chair in the room closer to the bed.

"So. The main reason for my visit is to see how you're doing," Charlie spoke. The Slayer continued to clean his armor but Charlie knew he was listening to what she was saying. "And I know you are not one to say how you are really feeling but I can't just pretend what happened didn't happen. Yesterday you collapsed and we're out for a whole day and then not even a half hour later you were fighting deadly, and I mean deadly, Exterminators for hours. That seems excruciating on one's body, and I'm very aware that you are extremely physically fit, but I still don't know how you or anyone could handle that all at once."

The Slayer stopped cleaning his armor and rested his arm on his leg as he began to stare at the floor. The action by the Slayer really made Charlie believe that he was listening and was starting to think about what she was saying.

"I also am aware that you are considered to be...very different from humans that you are a lot stronger than they are and what you have done in hell as a human shouldn't be possible but you've done them. I don't know what you normally do but," Charlie bit her tongue a bit as she was really questioning if she should say this but she felt like she needed to say it. "I feel like whatever has happened in your past has not been pleasant. I can't ignore all the scars I have seen on your body. I've never seen someone with so many."

The Slayer shifted his body and then turned his head towards her as he started to look at her dead in the eyes. He only turned his head to where half of his face was visible to Charlie. Charlie could see that he still had that usual serious look on his face so she really couldn't tell if what she said upset him.

"Sorry if any of that made you feel upset. I didn't want to try and open old scars, no pun intended. It is just a big thing for me to not notice," Charlie said to try and ease the tension if she unknowingly created any. She then decided to give him a reminder of what she was trying to do. "With all of this, if you ever feel like sharing what has happened to you in the past or whatever issue you're having right now. I would be glad to help. I have been told to be a good listener," Charlie said trying not to toot her own horn.

The Slayer slowly looked away from her and looked down at his chest and then at both of his arms. He did look over the scarring on his body and it did bring on a short burst of anger as he clenched both of his fists tight together for a few seconds. He then released the pressure he was creating in his fists and moved his eyesight upwards. That also continued to tell Charlie that there was a lot going on with the Slayer.

"Well, I hope you keep what I said in mind. I'll leave you to that armor of yours," Charlie said as she stood up and moved the chair back to its original position. "I would greatly encourage you to take it easy and get some rest, you probably need it. And if you're hungry, we have prepared some food in the dining room. It's pretty much on the completely opposite side of your room. distribute" She said as she opened the door and was about to close it, but thought of one more thing to say. "If you didn't know this, where we are right now, the pride ring, is filled with mostly sinner demons. People who once were human like you. Even in death, they still keep the same emotions they had when they were alive. Everyone goes through things here and there. Whatever you are going through, you don't have to do it on your own." She said. That was the last thing she had to say before giving him a smile and then closing the door.

The Slayer looked away from where Charlie was and back to his armor. He then began to think to himself about what Charlie said before muttering an angry phrase loud enough for only him to hear it. "I have to."

From outside the room. Charlie had begun her short walk over to the dining room where she assumed everyone else would be. She found out that once she turned the corner and walked in that she was absolutely right.

"There you are, Charlie. I was wondering where you went," Vaggie said.

"Yeah, sorry if I disappeared there. I was checking on him," Charlie responded. She didn't even have to refer to him as "the human" as everyone knew what she meant.

"He is a grown-ass man after all," Husk said as he was already settled with some liquor to down his food with.

"Obviously I know that. But passing out just to fight for your life for a few hours straight might put a strain on someone," Charlie said.

"Hmph. Guess so," Husk said, but just left his train of thought at that.

"What was he up to? Something cool?" Niffty asked as she was collecting plates and silverware.

"He was still in the process of cleaning himself and his armor off. Oh, and do you remember all the scars we saw on his face before?" Charlie asked as she felt like she needed to bring that up.

"You mean when Angel took off his helmet while he was unconscious?" Vaggie said.

"Okay fuck you, stop trying to make me seem like the fucking scapegoat here. I know you bitches were just as curious as I was and you were probably happy I did," Angel said taking offense to that statement.

"Whatever. But yes, I do remember," Vaggie said going back to the question.

"Well, they don't stop there. He has them all over his body too," Charlie said.

"WOAH, WOAH, WOAH. Back that right the fuck up Charlie. You saw his body?" Angel said as he was definitely the person to notice what Charlie said.

"I mean...yes? When I went to talk with him he wasn't wearing the top half of his armor 'cause he was cleaning it," Charlie responded. She used her hands to motion from her waist to her head to show what part of the armor the Slayer wasn't wearing.

"Wait? Really?" Niffty asked as she was really interested in that information as well.

"You are the first person to see that fella's bod and you didn't want to start the conversation with that?" Angel asked.

"I'd greatly prefer if you didn't," Alastor said. "And who should start a conversation like that? It isn't a very appropriate piece of table talk."

"Oh yer just letting your deer, virgin instincts take over," Angel said as he basically shoosh off what Alastor said.

"Well no. I mean I didn't think it would matter," Charlie said with a shrug.

"Girl we are curious to what remains under that armor. Did ya at least take pictures or something?" Angel asked.

"WHAT? No. That was definitely not a thought that crossed my mind when I saw him," Charlie said as she was a little offended that Angel would think of her that way.

"Lame," Niffty said.

"I agree Niffty, it is very lame. Could ya like give us a little insight then? Does he have the perfect, toned body that we all think he does~?" Angel asked trying to draw a mental picture.

"Charlie please don't give in to them," Vaggie said as she had no interest in this.

"Um. Well. Yes...I guess?" Charlie responded as she had a feeling what the Slayer's upper body looked like was probably what Angel was referring to. She looked at Vaggie while she said it as she was a bit peer pressured into answering. She also knew that Angel would keep prying her to answer so she would try to drop the conversation as best as she could. "He has broad shoulders, big chest, abs...I guess."

"What do ya mean ya guess? You clearly know," Angel said with a smirk as he wanted more, descriptive details.

"And how big would you say his chest was?" Niffty asked. Charlie looked over to her to see she was standing on the table with a notepad in hand and was doing her best to sketch the Slayer.

"Niffty. What the fuck are you doing?" Husk asked as he knew what she was doing. He was meaning it like she shouldn't be doing it.

"You know I love to make fanfics with illustrations. This is the material I need," Niffty answered.

"You don't understand it Husk. Charlie just got a free look at what I can assume is the best body in this entire underworld," Angel said coming to Niffty's defense.

"And I'm so glad that this dinner session turned into a drool fest over the human," Husk said as he folded his arms and slouched back in his seat.

"Something we can both agree on for once," Alastor said as he and Husk were both on the same page.

"Aw, you don't gotta be jealous. While I would love to get ahold of that hunk of muscle, both of yer bodies are still plenty desirable," Angel said as he winked at them both.

"Well this has been an outstanding time, but I think I will excuse myself to enjoy the Extermination elsewhere before I end up killing Angel," Alastor said as he got up from his seat and proceeded outwards.

"Yeah, I'm out of here. Hanging out with all of you is like drinking rum. Every so often I'll go back to it just to remind myself how much I hate it," Husk said as he followed Alastor.

"Awwww. They are so flustered~" Angel said as he let out a laugh after.

"Well thank you Angel and Niffty for bringing up your sexual thoughts during mealtime," Vaggie said with an annoyed look.

"Look this is some groundbreaking shit. You can't expect us to not talk about it," Angel responded.

"It would be nice if you didn't talk about it right here, right now," Vaggie responded.

"Ya only saying that 'cause yer the only person in here that doesn't like men. I know Charlie had a boyfriend once, clearly, you must have been drooling at the sight of all that muscle," Angel asked Charlie. The main reason he asked that question was to annoy Vaggie further as he knew she wouldn't like it if Charlie said yes.

"Angel! What kind of question is that?" Charlie asked as she didn't want to answer.

"That's not a no," Angel said with a smirk.

"Yeah, it's not a no," Niffty said as she began to furiously write something down.

"Angel can you just shut the fuck up. And Niffty, what are you writing down?" Vaggie said trying to help her girlfriend out.

"I have gotten a ton of new story ideas now. Charlie becomes so interested in the human that it blossoms into something more!" Niffty said illustrating a plot for a new fanfic.

"Hell yeah girl," Angel said showing his support.

"WHAT? NO, Niffty don't do that," Charlie said as this was becoming a really awkward situation.

"Yes, PLEASE, don't," Vaggie said.

Angel starting to be overflown with laughter. "Oh, this is fucking perfect. Who knew being cramped up in a hotel with all y'all would be so entertaining."

"If you want Vaggie, I could include you as well," Niffty said.

"OKAY CAN WE FOCUS ON CLEANING UP THESE PLATES and not on any more of these sexual stories?" Vaggie said as she now wanted the subject to be changed.

"Y-Yes I agree," Charlie said.

"Okay, okay," Niffty said.

When Charlie and Vaggie were away from Niffty, Angel got out of his seat and walked over to her. He leaned in close and spoke in a whisper. "I still didn't hear a no from Charlie."

"Neither did I!" Niffty said in a loud whisper.

"Got a lot of cleanse left, you could probably put in some good work on that story," Angel said as he wanted to encourage her so he could antagonize the girls.

"Good idea," Niffty said. That is exactly what I'll do when I am done cleaning up."

"Heh," Angel muttered as Niffty started to clean up. Angel now had to think of what he wanted to do now to kill time. He could keep on messing with Charlie and Vaggie or try to convince Husk and Alastor for a good time. Hell, maybe he would try to pop in on the human for a peep show. It was a world of possibilities.
