* Three Weeks Later *
Author's Note: I want to say I decided to skip the stay with Layanne's because of Soren joining early and Claudia going through something there was no point but if anyone wants to know they just rested and trained.
Callum sighed as he stood in front of a huge entrance with Soren, Rayla, and Ezran who had Zym the dragon princess in the bag and Bait on his shoulder. Callum sighed then said " Let's hope we can get past the Border." Callum then walked with his bow in his hand with an arrow on it with everyone behind him.
Callum walked through the torched light hall with Everyone behind him when he looked around noticing stuff and after a few more seconds he turned, drawing his bow as the group was surrounded. Callum saw members of the Katolis military and after a few seconds he saw Amaya, his aunt. Callum looked at his aunt and he just smirked seeing the person that translated her. Callum put his arrow away and his hands up when he smirked and grabbed one of the fire crystal arrows and shot it to the wall and said as the arrow went in a lot " That is a fire crystal and I will use it if I have to." Callum saw the orange hair man translate and after a few seconds he saw Amaya raise her hand and lower it then saw the knights surrounding him sheath their weapons. Callum saw Amaya walk to his arrow and pull it out then he saw her walk up to him. Callum took the arrow as his aunt held it out then he saw her say in sign language " I am here to help?" Callum looked at his aunt and after putting his bow on his back said in sign language " Just you have them leave I will be translating."
Callum looked around as the knights left, then after seeing no one he said out loud and in sign language " Talk." Callum saw Amaya nod then translated " Truth I don't trust the elf but when I trust you." Callum nodded then translated " But Ezran needs to return to Katolis as in two days time he will take the through and before you ask he convinced the four other kingdoms for him to take it if Ezran doesn't return in two days." Callum sighed at hearing then said out loud and sign language " Ok but Soren goes and you." Callum saw Amaya shake her head and heard " I can't, sorry but there is someone I trust more than anything. His name is Corvus and before you say anything you know my trust is rare." Callum nodded to that and then said " If Ezran goes he leaves in three hours."
* Three Hours Later *
Callum looked at a man with dark skin and dark brown beard and hair that is into a bun. Callum knows the man as Corvus just being introduced but he looked at Ezran who is on a horse and just smiled sadly so he looked at Soren who was next to Corvus and said " He gets hurt I put an arrow in you guys." Callum saw them both nod so he looked back at Ezran hearing " Take care of Zym." Callum nodded then looked at Rayla who had Zym in a bag on her back. Callum then said " You stay safe yourself." Callum saw his brother nod and he then watched them leave.
Callum sighed as he saw Ezran disappear in the distance and after a few seconds he sighed when he felt a hand on his shoulder so he looked behind him and smiled at Rayla but also saw Amaya behind Rayla with a hand on her sword. Callum sighed again then turned around and nodded then walked up to Amaya and said in sign language " Don't she is someone I trust dearly like you trust Corvus and if you hurt her Aunt Amaya I will hurt you." Callum saw his aunt nod which made him smile because his aunt is one of the best knights and he would be defeated easily by her. Callum just smiled then said out loud and in sign language " Let's go." Callum looked at Rayla seeing her put her cloak on when he looked at Amaya and translated " Callum tell your friend she doesn't need the cloak, the other knights won't do anything unless they want to die." Callum just chuckled and looked at Rayla seeing her confused so he said " She is feared by everyone and if someone tries something they will die by her hand." Callum saw Rayla nod so he smiled then walked to her and whispered into her ear " I will put an arrow in all of them if I have to you won't be hurt." Callum saw Rayla nod again, seeing her a little nervous so he smiled and said " Let's go."
Rayla looked around as she walked through the Katolis part of the border between the Sunfire Elves and Katolis. Rayla looked around a little nervous when she grabbed Callum's hand seeing a man with many scars on his face walking next to them. Rayla wasn't nervous for the humans but the Sunfire Elves if they fight any. Rayla looked at Callum and blushed, releasing her hand and then looked forward when she heard Callum say translating Amaya " Ok we are going to do an attack to destroy the only way the border is connected you are to run through the fight." Rayla nodded then looked behind her looking at Zym who was in a bag with his head sticking out.
Callum nodded and then said " When?" Callum then translated " Ten minutes." Callum nodded then looked at Rayla. Callum smiled then said " So when he got into Xadia I was thinking we could visit your home as you have been down recently." Callum saw Rayla shake her head so he grabbed her hand and said " Rayla I rely on you a lot and you're my friend. I know it's on the way to the storm spire." Callum saw Rayla smile then heard " How can you do that to make someone cheer up?" Callum smiled then said " I got it from my mother, she could cheer anyone up." Callum then moved his hand to Rayla's cheek and said " I also don't like seeing you down." Callum heard a loud fack cough so he moved his hand back to his side fast with a blush then looked at Amaya and translated " It's time." Callum nodded as did Rayla then they followed Amaya.
Callum stood next to his Aunt as he looked at the border seeing Sunfire Elves but he smiled then said in sign language " Aunt Amaya I get you don't like elves but not all are bad not even most so please be careful." Callum then looked at Rayla and nodded as he grabbed his bow then after a few minutes he ran with Rayla as the small army did.
Callum pulled Rayla making a sun sword miss her then he turned and grabbed an arrow then fired it at a Katolis knight sword making it fly out of the knights hand saving the queen of the Sunfire Elves sister which also she was left in shook. Callum just continued running, helping humans and elves not knowing Janai, the Sunfire Elves' queen sister, watched them. Callum turned a corner and ran down a hallway leading to Xadia
Amaya smiled when she stepped to the side dodging a sword that came down and then punched the elf when she looked at the leader of these elves and read her lips saying " That's enough, no more fighting." Amaya looked towards Gren and did sign language the saw him translate " Stand down and Janai I would like to talk." Amaya saw the knights stand down and after seeing the knights start heading back to their side he looked at Gren reading in sign language " She would like to talk right now but no weapons." Amaya nodded then she took off her shield and sword then her and Grin walked up to Janai and then Gren said " I am her translator as she is deaf."
Amaya sighed then said in sign language which Gren translated " Why stop I mean I am thankful but why?" Amaya looked at Gren as she watched Janai talk and after Janai finished she read in sign language " She saw Callum save some Sunfire Elves and Humans which made her confused and decided to stop fighting." Amaya nodded then said " I am thankful and that was my nephew but unless we are coming to some form of agreement Janai we might as well just leave now and prepare for tomorrow's fight against each other." Amaya saw Janai nod then she read from Gren " I would like to talk about peace on the border." Amaya nodded, then got to talking with Janai.
Callum breathed heavily as he leaned against the mountain wall that led to the border between Xadia and Katolis. Callum looked up at Rayla and smiled then said " So that was fun." Callum heard Rayla nod so he looked up with a smile then he looked at Rayla. Callum has noticed details about her as he is flustered around her but he could see they slight pink tint of her skin when he heard " Man." Callum shook his head and saw a huge cut on her side and saw her outfit had a huge cut so he said " I have something to wear instead of that if you want." Callum blushed as did Rayla but he saw her nod so he walked behind her and took his extra shirt out and then handed it to Rayla and turned around closing his eyes and said " I won't speak." Callum's blush got worse as did Rayla's but Ralya just changed.
Callum turned around after Rayla finished just to blush seeing how red looked against her skin and how it matched her eyes perfectly and well it just looked good on her. Callum looked at Rayla and said " You should wear red more, it looks good on you." Callum saw Rayla blink in shock then saw her smile not noticing the blush on her face then he said " Let's go." Callum then walked up to Rayla as she started walking and said " Truly Rayla red looks nice on you." Callum then looked at Rayla and smiled then said " So how is this Ethari you told me about." Callum heard Rayla chuckle then heard " Well let's get started."
* One Day Later *
Soren entered the throne room of Katolis and looked at Viren when he heard " Guards Traitor." Soren looked at his sister really surprised seeing her fine when he smiled hearing " Guards Arrest Viren and Claudia for attempted murder on my life. Soren stopped seeing everyone confused hearing the kid's voice so he said " That is right I forgot I came back with the King of Katolis Ezran." Soren saw Viren and Claudia go wide-eyed as Ezran walked in, then he saw guards restraining them when he heard his sister yell " You were a part of the attack." Soren nodded but heard Ezran say " I know and he betrayed you saving me and my brother's life so he has no charge." Soren smiled then he looked at Ezran as he walked up to the throne and saw him sit on it. Soren smiled and kneeled before his king when he heard " Soren, Corvus stand up. I am king, meaning new rules and one is to stop kneeling to me. I am just human like you." Soren stood up and looked at the ten year old king and said " Wise words for a ten year old." Soren then walked up to Ezran and said with a smile " King Ezran what would you like me to do first?"
