Harry Potter sat at his desk marking third year tests. These reminded him of the fact that the end of the term grew closer but that led to a subject Harry did not wish to think about.

For, after term had finished the holidays would come and the world's top auror would spend his time attempting to keep the casualties to a low by stopping his arch nemesis Voldemort from gaining any more followers. This however was not even the thing the man full of Gryffindor courage was afraid of.

The man that could look the most feared wizard in the world straight in the eye and hex him was petrified of a bunch of first years. This group of first years were unlike any other in Harry's opinion as they, potentially included his child. The child that, fifteen years ago his wife had given up for adoption. The child he was never able to see and very few people knew of its existence. Hell, he didn't even know if it was a girl or a boy he'd be looking for.

His wife Ginny knew, but she wouldn't tell. They had decided, eleven years ago that it just wasn't safe to bring up a child in their situation. Harry had discussed the possibility with his wife, the possibility of claiming their child when they came to Hogwarts, after all the situation was no where near as bad as it used to be. However they had decided, well mainly Ginny, that that was unfair. The child would have its own life by then. In fact Ginny had sworn she wouldn't even tell him which child it was, just in case he was tempted. But not knowing was torturing him even more. Besides he was sure that when the time came he would be able to tell and he would tell them their true history.
