A/N sorry if anyone is getting confused but there's another point of view
again now. Come on we have to see it from the perspective of someone in
every house. Is it really obvious who Harry's child is? It seems so to me
anyway but then I'm writing the story. Besides, obvious is fun!
Disclaimer- I still own nothing, it all belongs to J.K.Rowling. Grrrrr!

Lucious was woken the next morning by his two friends Crabbe and Goyle. He couldn't be bothered with getting up; he had slept terribly last night. He woke up and looked around the first year slytherin dormitory and breathed a sigh of relief. He was here. After everything that had happened yesterday he was a Slytherin. And the sorting hat wanted to put him in Griffindor! He couldn't imagine what his father would have said to that.
His father hated Griffindor. Come to think of it, Draco, Lucious' father hated everyone. But he especially hated the brave, those who stood up for what they believe in. Lucious knew his father was a coward. He could do nothing but grovel before the dark lord, a dark lord that only had half of his powers. In fact, the only power Lucious could see in him was fear. People feared him, he didn't even have to do anything, just threaten.
Lucious saw right through him. He didn't serve him like his father did. In fact he kept well out of the way of the dungeons under the Malfoy mansion where he knew the shadows lurked. There was something strange about Lucious; he was nothing like his father, or his father before him whom he was named after. The sorting hat had seen through his Slytherin pretence. Why did he even bother pretending for his father's sake? He knew his father was evil. He had even been told from an early age how his grandfather Lucious senior died at the hands of Arthur Weasley, whilst wearing a death eater mask. Draco was proud of his father's fate, proving to be loyal to the dark lord. Lucious however was not, he was ashamed.
Crabbe was shaking him,
'Come on, were guna be late for our first lesson'.
Malfoy smirked, there was one good thing about all this family stuff, not only had he inherited the two bodyguards but he also knew of the potions master, Snape and his friendship with his father.
'S'ok, it's just potions, Snape'll never take points of his own house will he now? Especially not off a Malfoy!'
In about half an hours time the three walked slowly along to the dungeons. When they arrived they simply waltzed in the classroom.
'Good Morning Malfoy' Snape bowed his head with a small nod towards the seats, 'Crabbe, Goyle'
Just at that moment, the three Griffindors ran around the corner, bumping into the slytherins.
'Sorry we're late Professor, we got lost', Max panted.
Snape growled at the three students, 'twenty points from Griffindor for being late'
Lucious noticed a girl in the front row who had bushy red hair about to object, when one look at her cousin stopped her. His father had taught him all about people with red hair and tatty robes. Although these students were not actually wearing scruffy robes he still guessed they were Weasleys and smiled. Weasleys and Malfoys had never got on.
The lesson began as expected; Snape clearly favoured his own house and loved taking house points of the others. This year all four houses had to have all their lessons together, as there was too few students. Every year less and less parents let their children attend Hogwarts as they feared for their safety. Then there were the many children of wizards who were brought up as muggles and never knew about magic. This, plus the fact that less children were being born as parents did not wish to bring their children up in such a dark world, meant that there were only half the number of students enrolling as there had been 15 years ago.
Toward the end of the lesson however, Malfoys attention was caught, as were the rest of the classes, by a pretty girl at the front who had begun to shout back at Snape.
Malfoy was amazed. He didn't know how it had started, but no one had ever seen a Hufflepuff answer back so boldly. Silently he admired the girl, she was after all right. The rest of the class, judging by their looks were thinking the same. Who was this girl?
The girls name apparently, was Dursley.
'You can't do that,' the girl yelled, 'it's not fair, Molly did nothing wrong! You asked for the answer and she knew it. You should be proud to have such a clever pupil. All lesson you've been biased towards your own house, you took 20 points off Joe for dropping a bats wing but said nothing when those two (she indicated at Crabbe and Goyle) spilt their entire cauldron onto Rachel's robes. That's unfair!'
The entire class gaped. Snape however smiled.
'I see that the temper must run in the family, Dursley!' he spat out her name like it was some poison, paining him to say it.
The look on the girls face showed clearly her surprise that this man, the Hogwarts potions master knew her family. Lucious had certainly never heard of it and he, being the last in a very distinguished wizarding family, happened to know almost all the others.
He then called the class to order and returned to where he was standing at the blackboard. Lucious was astounded. After all he had heard about the harshness of Snape and the man wasn't even going to take off points, or give a detention.
Just then the entire class jumped as Snape turned around and bellowed,
'DURSLEY, DON'T YOU EVER SPEAK BACK TO ME AGAIN, DETENTION TONIGHT WITH ME, YOU CAN CLEAN ALL THE CAULDRONS BY HAND!' He turned back round and continued writing on the board, giving Malfoy something that could be called a smile when he caught his eye.
'WHY AREN'T YOU COPYING THIS DOWN!' he shouted at the rest of the class.
Malfoy smiled to himself as he heard the quick rush of the entire class begin to pick up their quills and scribble down the notes on potion making. Hogwarts was going to be fun.

A/N I'm not sure if I like Lucious or not, not a Malfoy fan personally, even a one that's not particularly evil. I love Snape though; he's so scary and evil. Go Alan Rickman!
