Note: Since in the Movie, 3 and 4's genders haven't been clarified, I decided to use They/Them pronouns for the both of them.

The library had its fair share for the last 13 years. Some of the books are no longer scattered around the floor. There are stacks of books standing around. It was as if someone had been doing this for a while. The rays of the sun shone through the broken parts of the abandoned building. Pieces of old debris were scattered on the floor. Portraits of old paintings were leaned against the wall.

Not a single sound was heard in the air. Only the sound of silence rang the place. Besides at least a sound or two.

A black figure emerged from a stack of books, followed by a second one behind them. Their eyes flickering as they looked at one another as their own form of communication. They walked away from it as they heard something approaching. They hid themselves among a huge pile of books that had yet to be stacked. They observed the mysterious hooded figure as they looked down in curiosity. Quietly, they followed it to get a bit closer to it.

NightStar walked around as she went deeper into the place. Even if she had only been to the library for a short time before, she was surprised to see how big it actually is. That she remembered. If Marcy was here, she would never want to leave this place for sure. She chuckled at the thought. Rows and rows of books were everywhere. Clearly they seemed to have been stacked by someone. She wondered, could it have been them..?

It was a possibility. Besides the other Stitchpunks, if she remembered, her friends 3 4 loved to read, researching and doing some cataloging. They have been living here since they've left the sanctuary, which was before she came here. They marked every single information in separate sections. You could say they were well organized. Despite neither of them not being able to speak, they somehow found their own way of communicating. Which is by flashing their lights that come from their eyes.

She was abruptly tripped over by an open book which broke her fall. Once recovered, she took a look to see it was a book about plants and remedies. Oddly enough she flipped the pages to take a look at it out of curiosity. She may not have read many books recently, but if something peaks her intress she would get lost into it immediately. Most stories would just get to her, while some would just make her want to toss it away.

Around 10 minutes or so later, forgetting why she was here to begin with. She heard some faint noises in the background. Her ears twitched. But she decided to ignore it. But then it came again, tearing her gaze away from the book. She pulled her hood back up to cover her face. She summoned her sword to prepare to defend herself with it, just in case.

Honestly, she was getting a bit tense, last time she had been here she was petrified at the slightest sounds of steps. It reminded her when she met 2. Shaking her head she resumed slowly walking to track down the sound.

She heard footsteps on her right. She thought. As they were very faint to hear. She looked at her right to see nothing by some stack of books. Then she heard footsteps on her left side. Clearly, she wasn't alone. A nagging feeling tells her it is her friends, while the other part tells her it must be something else. Still she doesn't want to let her guard down in case it is something dangerous.

Slowly, she walks towards where she heard the second pair of footsteps. At the corner she saw a shadowy figure moving. Quietly, she took a few steps to where it was. Ready to strike with her sword. But also being careful cause she might attack someone else than an enemy. With a jump she looked where she saw the figure go, but found nothing. Confused, she looked around. Before she could react, two figures pounced on her. She let out a yelp. Something flicking blinded her eyes as she took one glance at her attackers. Who are now inspecting and cataloging her. In an odd way as she would describe just now.

'Those flickerings... Could it be?' She thought as she took a more clear glance at them. On her right was a Stitchpunk who's inspecting her arm in full curiosity. The other, who is identical to their twin, was inspecting her cape. 'It can't be..!' But it really is.

She struggled with her words for a moment as she was taken aback by those familiar faces. "3..? 4..?"

They stopped and immediately looked up to her. How did the stranger know their names? Uneasy, 4 went to hide behind their twin feeling unsure by the response. 3 shield them, in case the stranger in front of them could be a threat.

NightStar hesitates to say more. 'Of course they wouldn't recognize my voice, I was five when I last saw them…' She felt silly for not thinking through this. "I know it may be confusing for the both of you…" She spoke the best way she could. "But, it's me, NightStar, your old friend?"

NightStar. That name clicked in their minds. They haven't heard that name in a long time. That little girl who came all those years ago at an awful time, when the B.R.A.I.N was awoken by accident. Even though they only met her for a short time they considered her as a friend. The saddest part was to say goodbye to her, as she left for her homeworld, never to return. Until now that is, at least they hope It is really her. They researched through their catalogs for old pictures they took back 13 years ago. There were only of her as a child, makes sense that she looks different now as she isn't a child anymore. But one question burned their minds; Why? Why hadn't she returned after all this time? They decided to ask her later.

The wolf girl slowly takes off her hoodie as she tries to give her best smile as she awkwardly waves at them. She never had revisited old friends before, as she forgot she even had some to begin with. Which she will think about later.

One glance at her was enough for 4 to come out of their hiding and immediately wrapped their arms around her. Despite her being the same height as them she was an inch shorter than them.

3 soon followed and joined in the hug as well. They were very happy to see her again. As well, she has grown into a young woman. Where did all those years go by?

NightStar said nothing as she was in a tight hug by the two Stitchpunks. Holding back some emotional tears she hugged them back as she shut her eyes tight. "Yeah, it's me guys…" Her voice cracked as she tried to hold it all together. "I'm back…"

After a few minutes NightStar pulled away from them. "I know you guys probably have a gazillion questions for me, but I really need to find 9 and 7 first so that I can explain everything to you all and-"

Before she could even finish the sound of a loud yelp rang through the quiet library.

Marcy was seen tumbling down a mountain of books after she lost her balance when she was trying to climb up. She ended up face planting to the hard ground. Breaking her nose in the process. "Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!" She winced in pain as she covered her nose with her hands.

"Marcy!" NightStar ran towards her, leaving the twins baffled, confused, amazed, and concerned.

"Agh, my nose!" The nerdy girl said.

The wolf Princess pulled out of her bag an arepa con queso, made by Julieta and gave it to her. "Here eat this, it was made by Tía Julieta, so it will definitely heal you."

Marcy didn't need to be told twice so she accepted the magical food and took a bite. One bite was enough to heal her nose like it was nothing. "Thanks, glad you had those with you."

NightStar helped her friend back up as she grabbed her hand. Without noticing, 3 and 4 came from both her sides as they looked at Marcy in awe. She saw this and smiled. "It's okay guys, this is Marcy, one of my friends. She is completely harmless, besides the fact she is very clumsy. But she's really nice."

Marcy also had the same thought as the two Stitchpunks. "Oh my gosh! NightStar are these some of the old friends you mentioned?! They are so cute!" She beamed.

"Yep, those are 3 and 4." NightStar replied as she smiled.

Marcy inspected them, but also respected their personal spaces. "Mhm, mechanical hands, functional eyes, not to mention the well made stitching." She then looked at 4's cape. "Whoever made them must have been some kind of genius!"

"Yeah, you could say he was…" The wolf girl mumbled.

3 and 4 tried so hard to hide their excitement as well. It was a human! An actual living human being! In front of them! But as they looked at her a bit more closely, they realized she is different from the ones they've seen in books. It makes them think that she's probably not from their world. Even stranger, she has a dark green scar on her face. Her skin seemed a bit greenish as well as her hair and eyes! Is she even a human at all? Could she be an extraterrestrial?! Then again, she doesn't seem to act like one, as she showed perfectly well described human characteristics. But if she's a human and not from their world, could she be from another world different from NightStar?

The nerdy girl took notes of them as she pulled out her journal. The twins were now intrigued by her book. As they took a look in it as she wrote. "Hm? Do you guys like my journal? You can check it out if you'd like, I don't really mind." She handed it over to them.

3 hesitated but they took and went to the first page. Their twin stood next to them as they began to catalog every single info Marcy has written in it.

The human girl went to NightStar with a small question in her mind since she's interacted with them. "Do they even talk..?"

NightStar shook her head in confirmation. "But at least they seemed content with it…"

"Marcy!" Anne's voice ranged around them. Causing the two girls and Stitchpunks to jump in surprise.

Both girls turned towards the direction of the Thaï girl's yell. The twins, feeling a bit shaken, hid themselves behind them.

Anne came down off the mountain of books followed by the others who followed pursuit. "Did you really have to run off like that?!"

"Sorry! I just got so curious to see all of these old books that I got lost…" Marcy apologetically said as she rubbed her hand with one hand. "But hey, I found NightStar in the process!"

"Good, I was about to go and find her myself..." Isabela spoke up catching her breath from all of that running. "Guess that won't be needed now."

"To think we only took a break for 30 minutes…" Sasha crouched a bit as she gasped for air. Luisa felt the same as she tried to compose herself.

Mirabel collapsed on her knees as she steady with her hands.

"Uh… Am I going crazy, or do I see two identical dolls staring at us at the same time?" Anne asked a bit confused as she pointed 3 and 4 with one finger.

NightStar intervenes. "I'm just gonna keep it simple here; Girls; 3 and 4. 3 and 4; Girls." She gestures to her two groups of friends to one another. "Is everyone happy?"

"Yep." Mirabel said

"Totally." Sasha added.

"Uh, maybe..?" Luisa replied unsure.

The twins immediately went to catalog the girls one by one. The girls were a bit weird out of the little Stitchpunks' curiosity. They inspected them the same way they did with Marcy. They also seemed to notice that there were two different sets of humans. As well, that Luisa's very tall and muscular and her height kind of intimated them somehow. So they didn't bother her that much.

"You weren't joking when you said that you knew these little guys." Mirabel finds their curious nature amusing. She awkwardly waves at 3 as they inspected her dress. Awe of it's stitching.

"Wait till you see 9 and 7. 9 will be friendly if you're nice. 7, uh, I'd say that she will have some suspicions at first glance, but she's very nice once someone she meets is friendly." The wolf girl explained, she turned to the twins. "Speaking of which, where are they anyways? I really want to see them again if you guys don't mind."

3 and 4 looked at each other in realization. That's right, she needs to know. But also wondering how the others would react to her surprising return after over a decade. Including NightStar herself. They weren't preparing for her return at all. Oh well, guess it's time to face it then. Flickering their eyes at each other they went ahead of the girls towards somewhere far in the library. But not before giving Marcy her journal back.

"This way?" NightStar asked. They nodded confirming. "Okay then, lead the way."

Soon all of the girls followed the two Stitchpunks where they assumed it would lead to NightStar's other friends she had mentioned.

Unaware that they will be in for a big surprise.
