Chapter 11
Year: 2001
Location: somewhere outside Rochester MN
He broke out of the escape pod. The pod had created a crater. Midtruck looked down to his stomach; there was a silver patch of metal where he'd been shot. The pod had informed him that it was now the year 2001. He couldn't remember anything that had happened since the battle. His internal read outs informed him that he'd been in stasis the whole time which made sense. He then decided to transform his alt mode looked like it had gone through hell. At this point there were so many scratches on him that what once had been white was barely visible besides that he still looked like a brand new s10 from the 1980s. Every once in a while as he went down the road a human would look at him confused. He knew his holomatter avatar was keeping the humans from finding out he was a cybertronian. He eventually decided he had to scan a new altmode. To many humans we're staring at his alt mode. As soon as he saw a car lot he pulled in. He wasn't worried about being seen as it was currently midnight. He saw a brand new white extended cab s10. He scanned the truck. His white paint was restored before his optics and his kibble also changed. "That feels nice." He said with his normal joking tone. He then noticed the security camera that had been watching. He grabbed it and ripped it off the building it was attached to. The only reason he did that was because he had no idea who had won the battle back in 86. And even if the autobots had won he doubted with how many "trophies" scourge and nemesis had on board their prison ship. He looked at the truck he'd just scanned. He took the license plates he had on himself and swapped dealer plates out. "Hmm now what in the name of Primus am I going to do with you?" He said as he scratched his head. He snapped his fingers. He walked a couple feet into the woods behind the car lot while dragging the truck behind himself. He put the truck down. He estimated he had 4 earth hours until day break. He only needed an hour and a half to dig a hole and bury the truck.
Once finished he walked back to where the truck had once sat. "I sure hope kickscream and Deepdive are still alive." He said. All he knew was that he had to get information on what the outcome of that battle had been. He transformed taking the place of the truck he'd just buried. Day break came and the owner arrived. When the old man arrived he looked up at the security camera that he destroyed. "Damn kids, nothing I can do but send the footage in." The old man said not really caring about the camera. The old man sat down and turned on a radio he was carrying with him. He wasn't really paying attention until they said something about cybertronian news. "Ugh not this crap again!" The old man said annoyed. He had to keep the radio on. "Leave it on!" He ordered. "Who who said that?" The old man asked, fearing for his life. It occurred to him he might learn more from the human than the radio. He transformed revealing himself. The man looked up in awe. "D-decepticon!" The old man said. "No no I'm an autobot my name is Midtruck and I just need some information please?" He begged. The old man seemed to lighten up. "Wait, I've seen you before years ago but I'm sure I've seen you." The man said with confidence in his voice. He watched as the man walked in his store and then quickly returned with a newspaper. He caught a glimpse of what it said. "To the autobots who sacrificed it all published in 1990?" He looked at the man confused. The old man flipped to a page labeled M. "I knew it but how in god's name are you alive?" The man asked. He looked at the paper shocked. "Well that makes me feel less in danger. It also seems like you have a lot to catch up on." The man remarked. And he was right because he heard something on the radio about the titan of autobot city letting new protoforms be mentored by autobots. And when did any titans return
