I regret not helping you. I regret not stopping you. I regret not being a friend when you needed one. I know what you were doing to yourself. I should have stopped you from doing it. I knew something like this would happen if you continued. I would have talked to you. I would have been your friend. I would have done something. I wish you had come to me. I wish you had confided in me. You could have just stopped me, and I would have listened. When did you lose your innocence? You were different before. The past you was a nice guy. You were a person with emotions. Whatever went wrong? You could have talked to me. I would have been there. I would have helped you overcome whatever was wrong. You never came to me, though. You never asked for help. You bore with it, and look where it got you. You're not here anymore. You've left this world. You're never coming back. You body is now cold. We'll never hear your voice again. It's gone forever. I'll never get a chance to help you again. You're gone now. I don't know how it happened. You were the invincible. It wasn't supposed to be this way. You shouldn't have died...
Kawamura Takashi looked around. It was sad. So little people had come to see him off. Even in death, people were scared of him. There were only nine people here, including him. The others were Yuuki-chan and the Yamabuki team. It was sad, how so little people came. Most of the Yamabuki team seemed to have come only because they were obligated to. Either that or they were made to. The Doubles 2 pair was fooling around. The captain, the Doubles 1 person, was not even trying to keep them quiet. The other half of the Doubles 1 pair was just standing there, staring off into space. No tears, No nothing. The guy with the sunglasses actually had the nerve to be sitting down. It was a funeral for Pete's sake! The only two from Yamabuki that truly seemed to be genuine about being sad was Sengoku and that first-year manager. The little one had always followed him around. Anywhere he was, it seemed like the manager was too. Sengoku had been the closest, after the little one, to him. They were legitimately sad about his death.
A small sniffling made Kawamura turn his view from Yamabuki to Yuuki-chan. How could he have left her? She was hurt the most in this event. Kawamura could tell she was trying to hold her tears in. She was failing miserably. He may have been a problem child, but he was also her only child. How could she bear with her loss? It hadn't mattered that it was his fault. It was still a death. Kawamura walked over to Yuuki-chan. He put a hand on her shoulder. She turned her hear around to look at him. "Takashi-kun..." Yuuki-chan turned her whole body towards Kawamura and cried into his shoulder. He was uncomfortable, but he let her. It was a hard time for her. She needed someone in this time of pain. This loss was greater than anyone could ever imagine. Who else to help her other than himself?
Yes, it was Akutsu that had died. "An accident," the police officer had said. A car had come running down the street as Akutsu crossed. The driver was drunk, as was Akutsu. Neither had seen each other. If even one of them had seen the other, both would have survived. Had Akutsu not been drinking, he would have survived. The tabloids had all blamed Akutsu, not the driver. A Teen Turned Delinquent Dies in Crash...
