Wrote this very short thing not long after the episode finished. If I go back to write more, I'll post it as a new story.
I just had to get something out after that episode.
Kathy meets Tia.
"Kath, can you come here. I bought my new partner with me."
Hearing this, she yells back "yeah, be right there", as she walks down the hallway towards the kitchen.
Entering the room, she sees a familiar silhouette, facing away from her.
Seeing this she stares in shock.
Same hair, same height, similar posture.
It was like seeing a ghost.
She thought she left her in New York, with all the other memories that were buried there.
"Ah, here she is."
Elliot's voice jolts her out of her thoughts. Realizing what was going on, she quickly puts on a fake smile as the woman turns around.
"Kath, this is Tia Leonetti. She's going to be my partner for a couple cases."
Kathy barely hears Elliot introduce her. She barely realizes she held out her hand to greet her.
All she can think is 'thats not Olivia'.
