This is something I wrote about Inuyasha's life. Don't know if it's good or not, which is why I'd like you to R&R! :) Oh, and bold is the title.
Even Fate Can't See
The rain beats down
Soaking him through
But cannot reach his tainted soul.
He doesn't know where to turn.
He can't wash the guilt from his hands
Nor quench the flame that longs to burn.
When the flame flares, then dies,
His soul is gradually torn away.
When the spark catches
Will it break?
A treasure seemingly beyond reach
A treasure that he and all others seek.
A treasure to transform his heart and mind forever
And the lives of those around him.
The path of destiny has forked in two
Which way will he choose?
Which way will be chosen?
A spirit, a shadow
Of what he has known
Seeks to tear his heart away
And pull him into the depths of night.
His guard falls down
When the spirit comes 'round
The spirit in itself is the weapon
That seemingly hesitates to strike.
Who will win the half- hearted fight?
A monster of power
Born from a lesser being long ago
Seeks conquest and destruction.
None shall oppose him
But a few of might.
The shadows are his domain
Over tortured souls he shall reign
Unless the battle of the few is won.
The outcome is shrouded in mist
What will be seen
When it disperses at last?
Together they quest
For the same, yet separate, targets.
One stands out in her destiny, her fire.
Something has budded
Will it bloom?
Shall it wither at dusk
Or live to see the dawn?
What will happen when at last,
The quest is ended?
Only time will tell, if even Fate cannot.
Okay, so it's a bit long. Hopefully, you'll know when the next verse is and all that, because it won't let me double enter or anything. But the main thing is that you like it! I'll add more, especially if you R&R. Well, and even if you don't. :)
