Chapter 3: Things set into motion
Previously, Raditz reaches a power level of 4,500 units and was labeled an elite as well as prodigy
Present:
Raditz is walking to meet the prince for their PTO assignment from frieza himself which he thought was odd and had a bad feeling about.
Raditz: I have a bad feeling about this mission and it does not bode well that I have not heard from father since he took that mission for Kanasa. Anyway the sooner the mission is handled the sooner I rid myself of this feeling.
Elsewhere:
A soldier is approaching a floating chair with fear.
Soldier: L-l-lord Frieza sir the saiyan children group you requested to be sent to planet waltel are departing the planet as we speak.
Frieza: Excellent I just can't help myself i have a feeling I'll be missing those monkeys, I thought to myself why not keep a few promising ones around for entertainment purposes and grunt work as well, Why am explain this to you your small brain can not even comprehend the mind of being as powerful as myself now run along.
Soldier: Y-yes sir.
The soldier runs along in fear of being killed as Frieza is most infamous for doing to his soldiers on his whim.
Back on Planet Vegeta
Gine: This is my Raditz's first mission and it's already with royalty. I can tell you're going to be great in the future, Raditz.
Bringing her hands together Gine makes a prayer to whatever deity out there
Gine: I pray to whatever gods are listening please protect my little boys and make sure they thrive in their life.
Gine smiles to herself thinking back to when she gave Raditz the rings for conquest as is traditional for the firstborn among the saiyan culture.
Gine: Raditz No That no matter what happens I will always love you and i am proud of you, I will always be with you my little love.
At the pod docs for offworld travel.
Raditz feels as though he is being enveloped by a strange light and closes his eyes and takes it in and smiles.
General Nappa: Come on Newby we don't have all day get in your pod and lets go
Raditz: Right I was lost for a second sir.
Vegeta: Come Nappa you cannot expect and saiyan of his ilk to be able to process and respond like his betters when he is little more than a glorified peasant.
Raditz does not respond to this and instead ignores vegeta and walks to his pod which enrages vegeta for not getting a rise of the low class born saiyan.
Vegeta: Careful not to be too cocky low born scum, you may be labeled an elite but it still changes nothing
Raditz: With all due respect my prince I care not what your opinion of me is, this mission is merely a stepping stone for me, and concerning my birth please be more creative with the insults because I have heard all of them and I'm afraid they seem to be creative.
Vegeta growls at Raditz
Vegeta: Have care how you speak to me peasant, I care not for your tone.
Raditz turns his back on the prince while rolling his eyes and gets in his pod and before closing it he says-
Raditz:(In a sarcastic tone) Forgive my disrespect my prince.
Vegeta and Nappa follow suit and get in their pods. Before going to cry-sleep Raditz thinks to himself "this going to be quite the mission, dear gods give me patience to not murder this little midget"
On Planet Kanasa
Bardock and his team are relaxing after the extermination of the population of Kanasa, although Bardock hates extermination of species he does understand the need to bid time until the saiyans have the necessary power to rise against Frieza and he would make sure Frieza pays for all the life the took directly and indirectly.
Tora: Hey Bardock isn't that little prodigy of your having his first mission right about now and with a royal no less, as expected from the son of bardock the strongest low class.
Bardock smiling to himself: Yea i just hope him and the prince don't murder each other know Raditz and the stuck up royal.
The group laughs at Bardock's words, when all of a sudden a native of the planets appears and charges at the group and manages to strike a nerve on the neck of Bardock causing him to lose consciousness but luckily his crew is able to quickly regroup and destroy the Kanasain and rush to their leader to check his vitals.
Shugesh: It's fine guys he's still breathing he should get him to the healing tank back on vegeta though.
The group take a sigh of relief and load their leader into his pod as well as their own and set the course to planet vegeta.
Some time later on Planet vegeta.
Bardock is having visions of kakarot growing up on a strange planet and fighting a namekian, then the vision changes to a teenage Raditz facing off against an army of foreign creatures, he then begin to see flashes of both of his sons lives as they grow and they all culminate is both of his sons facing off against Frieza which startles him awake.
Doctor: You're finally awake, let's get you out of the water.
Bardock still stunned about the visions:(thinking) What the hell were those about Kakarot and Raditz fighting Frieza yeah right like I'll let that monster have an affect on the future of my children, make no mistake Frieza I'll be the one killing.
Doctor: Are you listening bardock, anyway I was saying your battle power increased once again now the only one that is truly stronger than you would be the king.
Bardock rolling his eyes: you don't say, don't change jack shit doc now where's my team.
Doctor: Oh when you were out Lord Zarbon ordered your crew on another extermination mission and they wanted to get it done while you were under.
Chuckling to himself bardock: those greedy bastards better not have finished the party before i get there, whats the planet doc.
Doctor: Orion
Bardock rushed out of the med bay but as he did so he was reminded of his vision and went to pay a vision to Kakarot.
Bardock: I wasn't planning to see you until I had some actual free time, but I guess it's better then nothing.
Bardock then checks Kakarot's battle power and sees that it's 2 .
Bardock: One thing is for sure , you're not like your brother that's for I'm not one to get hung up on battle power especially if in my vision you and your brother are fighting Frieza it must mean you're strong in the future.
Bardock starts to leave: Well I'll see you around Kid.
Bardock gets in his pod and shoots off to planet Orion.
Planet Orion.
Bardock get out of his pod and sees the carnage: Well it seems you guys certainly had your fun.
Bardock uses his scouter to locate his crew and immediately his mood sours and he notices their bp are in critical and rushes to their location.
Bardock get to the location: Shugesh, Fasha, borgos tora what the hell happened guys.
Tora, still being barely alive, calls Bardock to him: It was Frieza's men his afraid of your growth and what you represent, he's going to destroy all the saiyans bardock you have to stop him.
Bardock, filled with anger and determination, rushes back to his pod but is ambushed by 4 of Frieza's soldiers. It was a hard fought battle but Bardock manages to win using skill and wits and makes it back to planet vegeta to try and warn the other saiyan.
Planet vegeta
Bardock lands in the docking area and rushes out of the pod with blood still on him and tries to warn as many as he can but they take him as crazy and laugh at him.
Bardock: These dimwits are too stupid to realise that Frieza wants to destroy us or are too afraid to do anything about it, screen I'll do it myself.
As soon as Bardock says this he sees a Frieza ship floating in space and hundreds of thousands of soldiers floating around it.
Bardock Smirks to himself: it seems you've made this easier for me Frieza, today is the day we free ourselves from you or die
Bardock flies directly towards Frieza's ship, all whale punching and kicking and firing ki blasts are any one in his way.
Bardock: FRIEZA FRIEZA COME OUT AND FACE ME THIS IS THE DAY THE FATES OF THE SAIYANS CHANGE MY FATE, GINE'S FATE, RADITZ'S FATE KAKAROT'S FATE AND YES EVEN YOURS FRIEZA.
Bardock charges even more towards the ships and destroys all in his way, then Frieza appears out of his ship in his floating chair.
Frieza: You're quite the feisty little monkey aren't you bardock was it, if nothing else your brave if only a little foolish you cannot hope to beat me monkey,
Bardock: Laugh all you want Frieza it all changes now.
Bardock charges his strongest attack, the riot javelin and throws it at Frieza.
Bardock: Eat this Frieza
Frieza lifts one finger and creates a massive meteor like ki blast that easily swallows up Bardock's riot javelin and lowers his finger sending the ki blast towards the planet destroying everyone in the way including his own men.
Bardock: I-IMPOSSIBLE
The ki blast hits Bardock: No im sorry Gine, ancestors, I have failed you; Raditz, Kakarot i leave the rest to you
The blast hits the planet which starts to crumble and explodes and so planet vegeta is no more, and with it the tale of Bardock the lone rebel.
