–WFI–Chapter 30 Friday, September 3 Part II

Rory and Logan left the Doctor's building. "You know this is not your fault?" Logan said. Rory nodded. They were both silent for the rest of the drive back to the apartment.

Before they got out of the car, Rory spoke. "I think I want Ricky and Karson to come down this weekend. I want to tell her. I want her to have the opportunity to talk to her mom if she wants to."Rory said.

"Okay, but Ace, I want you to relax this weekend. We can talk with Karson and Ricky, but I want it done first. I need you to have fun this weekend." He told her.

Rory laughed. "I will have fun," She said. "We have a VIP table at Phin-O'Licious. We are going to have a blast."

As soon as they get to the penthouse, she pulls her phone out and calls Ricky. "Ricky...Go home, pack a bag. Pick Karson up when school is out, and head for the airport, the jet will be waiting, when you land, hop on the helicopter. We will meet you on the roof." Rory said.

Then she put it on speaker. "I have a meeting at 4:00 with Berney about the Lenquite account," Ricky said.

"Okay, adjust the plan. Go home and pack, I will call Karson. She will pick you up at the office after your meeting." Rory said with a laugh.

"You have to learn to adjust. Do the unexpected." Logan said. He and Rory were laughing. "Seriously, we want you to join us. We are going to Finn's club." Logan said.

"Ricky, we talked with Katie. We have some answers. We would like to talk with the two of you before we go out." Rory said.

"I'll text Karson now," Ricky said.

Rory started pulling off her shoes when Logan stopped her. "Don't." He said. He went to the office and came back with a set of keys. Rory was standing at the door. She was used to this from Logan. "Let's go. I have a surprise for you."

Logan and Rory walked to the parking garage, where one of their cars was parked. He opened the door for her. She knew better than to ask where they were going. After being stuck in traffic for 20 minutes, Logan was thinking they could have walked faster.

Finally Logan pulled into the underground parking at Bergdorf Goodman. "Where are we going?" Rory asked. She was excited. This was the shopping district.

"I thought a little retail therapy is just what the 'looove doctor ordered," Logan said.

"Are you the looove doctor?" She asked.

Logan smiled, "Yes I am."

After several hours of shopping, Logan was beginning to regret the looove doctor's order. They finally pulled into the underground parking for the apartment. "I just got a text from Karson, they are headed to the airport," Rory said.

Logan looked at his watch. "Time got away from me. I had plans for you this afternoon." He said with a smirk.

She looked at her watch. "We have time." Rory grabbed a few bags and ran to the elevator, well she really just walked fast. She pushed the button, turned to a struggling Logan, he was weighed down with shopping bags, "hurry up" She said laughing.

Logan called Finn to tell him that pre-drinks at the apartment would be delayed. He explained that Karson and Ricky would not get in until 5:30 or 6:00. Pre-drinks were rescheduled for 7:15. When Ricky and Karson got to the apartment, Karson wanted to know right then what they found out.

"Babe, let me at least put the bags in our room and pee. I will be right back." Ricky said. Karson sat on the plush sofa. Cynthia, Honor, and Rory decorated the penthouse to their taste.

When Ricky returned, Logan handed him a beer. Karson already had a sidecar Rory gave her earlier.

Rory started, "None of this is your fault" Rory tells Karson. "After you hear what we found out, it will be up to you whether you contact your mom or not. If you want to, I will be glad to go with you."

"Don't make a decision tonight. Listen to what we tell you. You and Ricky can talk it over and decide later." Logan told her.

"If you decide to meet your grandmother, Logan and I will be there if that is what you want." Rory told her. This is something she and Karson had already discussed.

Rory and Logan took turns telling Ricky and Karson what Katie had told them. After all that was said. Ricky went from holding Karson's hand to rubbing her back. When all was told. Karson and Rory both had tears.

Karson stood up. "Well, that explains a lot." She walked to the drink cart and fixed herself another drink. "Rory and Logan thank you for all you do for us. I will talk with Momma. I just don't know when. I will meet Ms. Goodyear, Grandma. I don't know what to call her, but it will be on my own terms." Rory nodded and stood up. She went to hug Karson, whispering in her ear that she loves her.

She walked back to the sofa and stood in front of Ricky. She took his hand and pulled him up. Grabbed his face and kissed him. Stepped back from him and said. "I am going to get ready for tonight. Rory, you want to come see what I brought to wear? Maybe rob your closet?"

Rory jumped up. "Let's go get ready and wow our men," Rory said.

Finn, Collin, Charles, and Steph arrived before Rory and Karson emerged. Ricky and Logan had been banished to one of the other rooms to get dressed. Rory and Karson took over Rory and Logan's room. When Steph walked through the door, she headed straight to Rory and Karson. Logan got everyone a drink while they waited on the girls. Logan knocked on the door after about 15 minutes. "Ladies, come join us for drinks," he said.

"On our way," came from inside the bedroom.

Stephanie steps out of the bedroom and down the stairs. She had on a Valentino Sangallo Embroidered Mini Shift Dress with a pair of Alexandre Birman Alana Flat Point-Toe Sandals. Karson was behind her. She has on Alice + Oliva Clementia Smocked-Waistband Tirered Mini Dress with a pair of Amina Muaddi Jamie Lambskin Ankle-Wrap Flatform Sandals. Rory was the last, She has on Badgley Mischka Collection Silk Flounce-Hem Trapeze Dress with a pair of Christian Louboutin Rosalie Strass Red Sole Stiletto Sandals.*

The men stood watching as they descended the stairs. Collin, Logan, and Ricky were grinning from ear to ear. Finn and Charles stepped up to the bottom of the stairs, taking their hands as they stepped off the last step. "My, my, my," Charles said. "Finn."

"Don't say it. Yes, I would leave you tomorrow if just one of these beautiful ladies would say yes." Finn said.

Charles nodded. "Same here."

When they got to the club, they were escorted to the VIP lounge. This was on the second floor which was open to the bottom floor. You could see the whole club from their viewpoint. The minute they were seated. A waitress was standing waiting for their drink orders. Finn ordered for everyone, including a Charcuterie board.

Before the drinks were even served, the girls were up and dancing. Ricky was a little anxious. Logan assured him they would be okay. The men sat back and watched man after man get rebutted. Finn finally got up and went dancing with them. After several songs, they returned to the table and sat with their men.

Everyone enjoyed themselves.
