Kai looked sadly at the guitar that laid by the bed.

"Play it one more time please." Ray pleaded.

Kai looked to were Ray was standing in the doorway, then back to the guitar.

Slowly Kai picked it up, and softly began to play.

Ray could see that Kai fought back the tears that wanted to stream down his face.


I keep your photograph and I know it serves me well

Ray leaned against the door and softly joined in, not wanting to startle Kai.

Ray couldn't take it anymore, he walked into the room, his eyes fixed on Kai.

Ray sat down next to Kai, his hand brushing away the fresh tears on Kai's cheek.

Ray pulled Kai off the bed and danced around with him, embracing the crimson eyed teen.

Ray gently led Kai back to the bed, and sat him down, gently combing his blue hair with his hands.

Ray made a move to back away, but Kai grabbed Rays hand, sobbing uncontrollably.

Ray walked towards the door, and Kai could clearly see that Ray was leaving him again.

"Don't leave me Ray please!" Kai begged as he ran towards Ray.

Ray just stared at Kai, his hazel orbs looking solemnly at the crimson ones.

"You don't have to go Ray" Kai grabbed Ray's shoulders. "You can't go Ray I'm lost without you!" Kai half choked between sobs.

Ray's hand stroked Kai's cheek as Ray spoke "I will always be by your side Kai, don't ever forget that."

Ray faded away, leaving Kai holding thin air.

Kai sobbed uncontrollably, as he sunk to the floor, were a newspaper clipping lay. He read the headline and burst into a new set of fresh tears. "Ray.." Kai whispered over and over as he read:

Young teenage blader killed in terrorist bomb attack.
