A/N: Let's get a few things out of the way before we can begin.
1. If you don't know by the summary, Part 6 does not exist in this universe, the only original character from Stone Ocean present in this story is Jolyne. So Dio never had a diary and whatnot.
2. I know that there are many returning characters from part 3, especially part 4, but this story isn't really about them. You'll see in future chapters that this story will really be about my own original characters and their own Stands, (I've made 20+ original Stands for this fanfiction).
3. This will be updated every Friday with no exceptions. Doesn't matter if it's a holiday or not. So expect a new chapter every Friday without any breaks until the story is finished. If I don't post on a Friday, then assume I'm dead. Or my internet's down. You choose.
4. Lastly, there is a bit of cursing in this fanfiction, but there will be no slurs or f words. Enough rambling, enjoy and feel free to comment, I will respond to all the comments I can, so feel free to ask questions.

Episode 45: One More Red Nightmare Part 1
By the time Joanne woke up, the sun had long risen. Even though she had slept in so late, she still felt exhausted. She was about to get up when she felt a pair of arms around her stomach. She turned her body around, forgetting that Kenna was there.
"Ken…"
She turned her body around, facing her still-sleeping girlfriend. Had she fallen asleep with Joanne in her arms? That thought sent a flutter in Joanne's chest. She nudged her way closer to Kenna before giving her a hug as well, snuggling into her shoulder. She didn't know why she was so exhausted, everything was perfect, it was just the two of them.
Portobello's dead. June and Ally are dead.
The thoughts found their way into Joanne's mind. Every ounce of happiness and tranquility seeped out of Joanne's body as anguish and despair took their place. For a few seconds, Joanne had forgotten. But now she remembered. She was so exhausted because she had gotten almost no sleep the night before, cuddling Kenna as the two cried over the deaths of their friends. The Wall had attacked the day before. And even though they had all been defeated, Portobello, June, and Ally had lost their lives in the process.
Joanne felt ashamed for having woken up, not remembering that her friends were gone. The feeling of their loss made it feel like someone had been digging a knife into her heart. She remembered the day before, after witnessing the bodies of her friends.
This has gotta be fake! This is some sort of joke! Some sort of dream! There's no way this is reality!
That had been the first thought to cross her mind, but others soon followed.
I can just go back and save them, right?
For the briefest of seconds, she thought that this was some sort of game and that she could just go back and change what happened. Such thoughts had been in her mind to put her at ease, to tell her that there was no way this was an actual thing that was actually happening. To take away the sorrow before it fully kicked in. But her rational thinking stopped this.
This is real life. Of course, I can't go back.
She didn't want to admit it at first, almost as if admitting to it would take away any chances of this being false. But it was useless. What happened, happened. Portobello was dead. There was nothing she could do to change that. June and Ally were dead. She didn't have the power to change that, nobody did. Dead is dead. There's no going back.
"Dead is dead…"
She repeated the words softly to herself as she stopped thinking about what happened the day before and looked at Kenna's sleeping face as she began to quietly cry.
"Ken… You don't have to feel this misery… not yet at least. You're still asleep, the deaths of June, Ally, and Portobello can't harm you right now. I wish I could forget… It would make living so much easier…"
The words she spoke were so soft that nobody standing in the room would be able to hear them. But she spoke the words nonetheless, almost as if there was an audience listening. Almost as if she was narrating to this audience.
The only comfort that could help Joanne's body withstand the pain from the death of her friends was Kenna's embrace. But in the end, it did little as Joanne's tears refused to subside. The pain in her heart doubled, then tripled in potency. Her mind kept repeating the same words.
Portobello's dead. June and Ally are dead. Portobello's dead. June and Ally are dead. Portobello's dead. June and Ally are dead. Portobello's dead. June and Ally are dead. Portobello's dead. June and Ally are dead. Portobello's dead. June and Ally are dead.
She figured that if she repeated the words enough in her head, they'd lose their meaning and they'd stop tearing her heart apart. But the more she thought about these words, the more meaning they seemed to gain. Those three were truly, undeniably, completely, and utterly gone. Dead. Lost forever. Their hopes and dreams unfulfilled.
"Jo, stop… You're really bringing me down, here."
A Stand appeared next to Joanne, voicing her concern in a somber voice.
"Go away, Abstract. As if you'd care. Leave me be."
"Jo, I can feel everything you feel. And this pain in my heart, it's different from injuries you've gotten in the past. Getting stabbed by Khan that one time, hurt way less than this. I don't understand."
"Stop it, Abstract, you're only making me feel worse, just leave me be."
"And let you keep sulking? Not happening."
Joanne sighed, already tired of this conversation, "There's nothing you can do to help. Unless you can turn back the hands of time and prevent them from dying, then you'll only make everything worse. I don't wanna talk. I want to snuggle up to Ken and cry until I lose all sensation in my face."
"And what will that do for you?"
The question surprised Joanne, but she provided a quick, stubborn reply.
"More than anything you could. Now leave me alone."
"Just… don't get too depressed, Jo…"
Abstract listened to her user without complaining, a rare thing for her to do. Once Abstract had left, Joanne held onto the still-sleeping Kenna tighter, and let out the rest of her tears.
...
Joanne and Kenna didn't bother getting out of bed until way past lunchtime. If it wasn't for their rumbling stomachs, they would've stayed in bed, nothing to accompany them except for each other and the despair that coursed through their bodies.
When they stepped out, Jolyne was sitting next to her room, her head in her knees.
"Jolyne..." Joanne walked up to her, worry in her voice, "How long have you been sitting there?"
"I dunno… What time is it?"
"Like, 3:30 or something," Kenna checked her phone to verify the estimation.
Jolyne sighed, "I've only been here for like forty minutes… it feels like forever. Usually, I'd wake up early so I could go eat breakfast with Portobello. He'd always forget so I'd have to bang on his door every morning. My father always got up early so Portobello would be alone in the room. But when he had his Speedwagon Foundation meetings on the weekends, I'd always feel alone. But I would always look forward to seeing him the following week… And now…"
Tears fell down Jolyne's already wet cheeks.
Joanne sat down next to her niece and gave her a hug, "It's okay, Jolyne… He saved us all. If it wasn't for him, The Wall would've won. He's a hero."
"I know… But damn it, that asshole! He didn't have to die for us, did he?! There could've been another way, couldn't there?! Goddam shit!"
Jolyne pounded her fist on the floor with fury as she burst out in anger.
Kenna sighed as she sat down on the other side of Jolyne, "I thought the same thing about June and Ally. When I was taken in by Dianne three years ago, I was only 14. June was 16 and Ally was 17, they were the closest things I ever had to sisters. They told me that they were the first ones to join Dianne outside of Greta, Khan, and The Wall. Although they had only lived in the mansion a year longer than me, they seemed to know everything about it. For the first time in my life, it seemed like I had a family who didn't end up dying on me. But in the end, the curse that seems to fall upon everyone I consider family caught up to me."
Kenna stopped for a second, wiping tears from her eyes, "Sorry, I didn't mean to go off on a tangent… I was mad at them for dying. I've always been mad at my family for dying on me. Even my piece of shit father. What I'm trying to say here, Jolyne, is that you're not alone. If you need to talk about anything or have a good cry, I'm here for you," Kenna looked at Joanne, "The same goes for you, Jojo. If you need anything, absolutely anything, just tell me."
Joanne smiled, "All I need is you, Ken. You're my best medicine."
Kenna smiled as she got up, "Jojo and I were gonna go get some food, have you eaten yet today, Jolyne?"
Jolyne raised her head up at Kenna before shaking it.
"Then why don't you come join us?" Kenna offered her hand.
"No thanks, I don't wanna be the third wheel…" Jolyne gave a dry smile.
Joanne cleared her throat as she rose to her feet as well, "W-well, that would only be the case if Ken and I were going on a date, right? We're just going to get some food so we don't starve to death, all cooped up in our room. Think of it as just lunch with friends."
Jolyne huffed as she too, rose to her feet, "Alright. But if I catch you two smooching, I'm out."
"Don't worry," Kenna laughed, "Jojo and I haven't even kissed yet!"
"What?"
"W-well!" Joanne suddenly blushed, "We've given each other kisses on the cheek and stuff like that before… but we haven't… you know, kissed kissed…"
"Wh-? Why not? Haven't you two been together for like, weeks?"
Now Kenna's face began to redden, "Well yeah… B-but the two of us agreed that we'd save our first kiss for something special right, Jojo?"
"Y-yeah!"
Jolyne shook her head as she looked at the two, "And you guys love each other!" she spoke the words sarcastically, "What kind of couple are you two, anyway?"
"W-well…!" Joanne looked away, too embarrassed to look at Jolyne, "We haven't spoken the 'L' word to each other either…"
"What? 'L' word? Love?! You haven't told each other that you love each other?!"
"This is embarrassing, Jolyne!" Kenna closed her eyes tightly as she looked away, "We also both agreed that we'd save the 'L' word for a special occasion!"
"You two are the oddest couple I've ever seen… Let's just go eat."
..
Tenmei washed his face as he stared at his reflection in the mirror. He was now sharing a room with Hozier, but the kid was still asleep. Tenmei hadn't slept the entire night, his eyes showed just how much exhaustion he had.
He grabbed a glass and filled it with water from the sink. Right as he was bringing the glass to his lips, he thought of Ally's smiling face, and accidentally dropped the glass, cutting his hand open in the process.
"God! Dammit!"
He yelled out in fury, using the blood from his hand to create a small hammer and destroy the sink before shattering the mirror. He looked at his own sorry reflection in the shattered mirror, which was projecting multiple reflections back at him.
"Shit…"
He could see tears roll down his face as he collapsed to the ground.
"Shit… shit… shit… goddamn shit!"
He yelled in fury once more, crying on the floor.
Ten minutes later, Tenmei stepped out of the bathroom, looking completely composed. His hair was combed, his face looked refreshed, and he had a bandage on his hand.
"Mr. Kakyoin?" Hozier raised his head curiously, "I heard a loud noise… are you okay?"
"Oh, I'm fine! I just cut myself a little bit. Don't worry about it, Hozier. Listen, I'm gonna go get some food, do you want anything?"
"A cheeseburger."
"Alright sounds good!"
"A-and some apple juice too!"
"Got it!"
Tenmei grabbed his hotel keys and left the room. As soon as he was out of Hozier's view, he crumpled to the floor, letting the tears that he was keeping locked away, out. He had to appear strong for Hozier, even if it meant bottling up his emotions.
He quickly wiped away his tears and got off the floor. He took several deep breaths before going down the stairs. The elevator was out of order after Tankian had eaten his way through it the day before.
He made his way down to the lobby and into the cafeteria to get some food. He stopped when he spotted three teenage girls, sitting at a table together as they ate.
"How are you guys holding up?"
"Hey, Tenmei!" Joanne waved at him, "We had a rough start to our day… but I think we're doing fine."
Kenna nodded, and after a bit of hesitation, Jolyne nodded as well.
"That's good to hear! I just dropped by to get some food for myself and Hozier."
"Ah, how's the little guy doing?" Kenna tilted her head slightly as she asked this.
"He didn't get much sleep last night, so he's still in bed.
"I don't think any of us got much sleep," Jolyne said, "What about my father? Have you seen him around?"
"I believe he was awake early this morning, but I'm not sure where he is. He's probably with Binns and some other members of the SPW Foundation. Probably doing some cleanup around Morioh after yesterday's events. Especially at the hospital. I'm sure they're going through hell trying to clear everything up with the police and hospital staff."
"I see," Jolyne said, "He's off to work… It's not like he was gonna have any time with me, after all. But I thought that he'd at least ask me how I was doing before he left. He knew how close Portobello and I were… He doesn't care after all."
Tenmei sighed, "Jotaro is an outstanding man. One of the best people I've met in my life. But the reason he's so distant from you is that he loves you, Jolyne. He wants to protect you."
"I've heard this shpeel before… don't bother."
"Jolyne, after what happened yesterday… I'm sure he got a grim reminder that in times like these, people will die. He just doesn't want to have to clean up after your death next, that's all. He probably figures that the less he has to do with you, the safer you'll be."
"I keep hearing these same words from everyone," Jolyne said, "Everyone except for him. Everyone except for the one who should be telling me this."
Tenmei sighed, there was no use now. It was best to just leave it at that.
"Anyway, I'm gonna go get some food and head back upstairs, see you all later!"
Kenna, Joanne, and Jolyne waved goodbye as Tenmei left them.
Jolyne quickly looked back at Joanne and Kenna, wanting to stray from the current topic, "Not a single kiss? Like you guys haven't just kissed at all? Not even out of impulse?"
The two girls' faces reddened, "Wh-why are you going back to that?!" Joanne hid her face in her arms, "We haven't kissed yet!"
"Just wanted to make sure," Jolyne said as she sighed, "Damn it… Everybody's gotta stop giving my father excuses…"
"Have you ever tried talking to him?" Joanne asked.
"That's not the point. I can go talk to him at any time. It's him that's gotta go to me."
"I see…" Kenna perked her head up, "What if he thinks the same thing?"
"What do you mean?"
"What if he's waiting for you to talk to him first?" Kenna asked, "He probably knows how much you hate him, so he doesn't want to rush anything. He's waiting until you're ready to talk."
Jolyne shook his head, "Don't give him excuses!"
She tried denying this, but the more she thought about it, the more it made sense.
"Dammit…"
She got up from the table and walked away. Joanne was about to get up to try and get her back, but Kenna grabbed her hand.
"Let her go, Jojo… She just needs time to think."
...
Over the course of the following two weeks, the wounds from the dead only partially healed. The funeral for the three was held five days after their deaths. They were all three buried in Morioh. Portobello's mother, Shelby, flew to Japan for the funeral.
"My Portobello… I can't believe it!"
Jotaro looked at the crying woman as he put a hand on her shoulder, "Your son was a fine comrade. A lot of people would have died had it not been for him. Remember this, Ms. Belle, your son is a hero."
"Portobello…" Shelby kept crying as she heard Jotaro's words.
Jotaro sighed, "Yare yare daze…" He looked over at Jolyne, who was crying at a distance. Should he talk to her? She would just be angered if he came near her. He decided to leave her be. After he had comforted Shelby, he looked over at another grave, only a couple of months old, "There you are, Polnareff… I haven't come to see you yet. I was hoping to talk to you after all this was over, but Dianne still breathes. Old friend, I promise you, she will die. She needs to die along with Dio's influence in this world. Only then will our job as Crusaders be finally fulfilled. But dammit, I'm the last one, aren't I? It doesn't matter, I will kill Dianne. Then you, the old man, and even Kakyoin, Avdol, and Iggy can rest easy. The next time I come to talk to you, Polnareff, Dianne will be dead. And then our job as Crusaders will be completed." he looked over at Tenmei, "Then perhaps a new generation can take our place."
"I'm sorry Ally," Tenmei lamented as he looked over Ally's grave. She had been buried next to her sister, "I'm sorry your life had to end so short. But I'm glad we at least got to spend the last three weeks together… Say hello to my uncle, Noriaki, up there. Eventually, I'll come to join you. I'll miss you Ally, but I won't let anything you've done go in vain. I promise."
"Ally… June…" Kenna looked at the graves of the two, Joanne holding her hand, "You two were practically my sisters… If only I had been there, I would have been able to heal you two… But I fell victim to the keywords. I'm sorry…"
Joanne hugged her girlfriend, letting her cry in her chest, "It's okay, Ken. You don't need to blame yourself. This wasn't your fault. This was The Wall's fault, we all know that. But Dianne shares the blame as well, I'm going to make it up to them. Hol Horse, Polnareff, Portobello, June, Ally, Josuke, and all the others turned to stone… I'll defeat Dianne and win for their sake. And I want you to help me, Ken, I can't do this without you."
"Jojo…" Kenna looked up at Joanne's face, there was a look in the Joestar girl's eye that sent a shiver down her spine. There was a look of dark determination in her eyes, like a flame ready to burst. The look made Kenna's face blush red.
Jojo… That look in her eye… She's ready to fight Dianne head-on and kill her. This determination… Is she really doing it for June, Ally, and the others? Or is she doing it for… me? Is she doing this so I don't share the same fate? Is she protecting me… That look on her face… It's really cute…
Shelby left to go back to Florida the following week. Gradually, Joanne and Kenna were able to get out of bed earlier. Tenmei seemed to always be as cheerful as always, hiding his pain away from everyone else. To the others, he appeared to have moved on the fastest, but in reality, was the slowest in moving on. Jotaro and Binns were almost nowhere to be seen, apparently off with the remaining SPW forces in Morioh. Hozier, seeing that everyone was much happier, was in a drastically better mood. For the first time since The Wall's attack, things were starting to get less dreary. And fifteen days after The Wall's attack, Jotaro gathered everyone in the Speedwagon Foundation building.
"Bout' damn time you showed your face," Jolyne looked at her father with disgust, "Where have you been these past two weeks, asshole?! I shouldn't have had to rely on Joanne and Kenna so much to not sulk all day. You should've offered at least some words to me, but you just disappeared! You might as well completely stay out of my life. As if I'd care!"
Tenmei put a hand on Jolyne's shoulder, "I don't wish to interfere, this is completely between you and Mr. Kujo, but I think you two should save this for when you're both alone."
"Whatever…" Jolyne muttered as she shook Tenmei's hand off, "As if I'd ever wanna be alone with him."
The room went quiet for a few awkward seconds before Binns broke the silence.
"Jotaro and I have been talking, and we've decided that we're done letting Dianne come to us. We're going to take the fight to her."
Tenmei's eyebrows perked up upon hearing this, "My apologies, I've been neglecting our SPW meetings these past couple of weeks. I've let my emotions after the deaths of our friends overtake me and—"
"Kakyoin." Jotaro's voice was gentle as he spoke, "There is nothing wrong with mourning the loss of a comrade. I know firsthand. I've given you these two weeks off. You don't need to worry."
"Right, my apologies," Tenmei looked down, still feeling guilty, "Please continue, Mr. Kujo."
"Fletcher," Jotaro turned to Kenna, "Now that The Wall is no more, Dianne is depleted of her forces, is that correct?"
"Yes," Kenna said, "Unless she was able to acquire new Stand users after I defected from her, there should be no one left. But I find the probability of her gaining new forces to be extremely unlikely."
"Good," Binns said, "So it's just that bitch, Dianne, and her wife, Greta, then, correct?"
"Yes," Kenna said, "they are the only ones left. Unless Van Fleet is directly above us, Greta shouldn't be able to use it for combat. So the only enemy we have to keep our eyes on is Dianne."
"There is a very simple way to defeat her," Jotaro said, "We all stay together. If I can get close enough, Binns can shut off her Stand ability, and I can stop time and break her neck instantly. The only issue I can see is that I'd have to be relatively close to do that. The thing we need to focus on is getting close to Dianne. If we can manage that, we've won the battle."
"That is one of our plans, anyway," Binns said, "We'll only do that if our Plan A fails."
"Plan A?" Joanne asked, "Wait, Jolyne's dad was talking about a Plan B?"
Jolyne nudged Joanne, "Don't call him my dad!"
"Sorry, my bad!"
"You are precisely right," Jotaro said as he looked at Joanne, "I will only be needed if it's absolutely necessary. It will only be needed if our first plan fails."
"Then what's the first plan?" Kenna asked.
"We'll need you, Fletcher," Binns said, "And Hozier as well."
"Me?" Hozier, who had been quietly listening as he clutched Kenna's leg, spoke for the first time.
"Yes," Jotaro said, "Your Stand will be extremely useful in this final confrontation."
"First thing's first," Binns looked at Kenna, "Can you transfer oxygen using your Stand?"
"Oxygen? What do you mean?"
"Say I was holding my breath, could you keep fresh oxygen in my lungs without needing me to breathe out?"
"I've never tried that, but I'm sure it's possible."
"Good," Binns clapped his hands, "So then Dianne won't be able to use her Stand indefinitely. Jotaro and Kakyoin will protect Fletcher and her Redbone in case Dianne does something. Jones, you and Jotaro's daughter will stay with Hozier."
"Don't call me his daughter!"
"Right, my apologies. Just make sure no attacks land on Hozier. That's yours and Jones' jobs."
"Then what do you need me for?" Hozier asked.
"We'll need you to deliver the finishing blow," Jotaro said, "Simply put, you'll use your mirror to attack Dianne. In theory, she shouldn't be able to use her Stand to protect herself. Even if she tries to attack, we'll have two people protecting Binns and Fletcher, and two people protecting Hozier. If Dianne has nothing more to pull up her sleeve, it should be an easy victory."
"Easy victory?" the words didn't sit well in Joanne's stomach, "Aren't we being a little bit overconfident? Dianne has managed to slip away every time, what makes this any different?"
"We have an organized plan and backup plan," Tenmei said, "We almost got her last time. She just barely managed to escape. And that was just us attacking without thinking too much. With an organized operation, we could pull this off."
"Alright then," Jolyne said, "But how do we find Dianne?"
Binns looked back at Kenna, "Fletcher, you know Dianne better than any of us. Where would she retreat to?"
Kenna knew the answer, it would be unlike Dianne to go anywhere else, "She'd go back to her mansion. To a gift given to her from a dead friend. That's how Greta described the mansion when I first arrived."
"Then we'll head there," Binns said, "It's a three-day trip, is it not?"
"And this time she has no idea we're coming!" Tenmei said, "She'll have no time to prepare! The place where we first met her… That's where we'll end this."
Jotaro nodded, "We leave tomorrow morning. Get ready, this will be our final battle."
...
Three days later
The trip had gone on without any issues. On their way, Kenna, Joanne, and Tenmei passed through several familiar places. On the first day, was the run-down building that June had disguised as a restaurant. On the second day, there was the bustling city where they had first encountered Loni. And on the morning of the third day, there was the grassy field near the road where they had fought against Khan for the first time. Then, on the afternoon of the third day, they came across a forest with a mansion hidden in the middle.
Tenmei, who had been driving, parked the car far out of the forest. They had already planned to infiltrate the forest by foot, in case anyone was nearby. They trekked through the trees until the mansion was in sight.
"This is it," Tenmei said, "I'll never forget the sight of this mansion."
"Yeah," Joanne agreed, "This place still gives me the chills."
"I'm scared to go back in there, Kenna…" Hozier hid behind Kenna as he grabbed onto her pant leg.
"Don't worry," Kenna said, "We'll all protect you, The only one who should be sacred is Dianne."
"You lived here, Kenna?" Jolyne asked, "Talk about creepy!"
"Enough talk," Binns said, "Let's get this over with. I don't wanna waste time standing here and risk being spotted by the enemy."
"Binns is right," Jotaro said, "Hozier, break the mansion down."
Hozier nodded as he called out his Stand, "Take me to Church!" The mirror appeared, reflecting the entirety of the mansion before it. With a deep breath, Hozier let the mirror crack, destroying the mansion.
...
Dianne was lounging on the couch as Greta entered the room.
"Is everything ready?" Dianne asked.
"Yes," Greta said, "I think we can depart as early as tomorrow. All we have to do is separate Fletcher and Joanne, then we can end the Joestar bloodline while saving the life of my last daughter."
Dianne sighed, "After everything, I can't believe it's finally almost over. Joanne Jones, Jolyne Cujoh, and Jotaro Kujo will die in our next attack. Then I'll only have to destroy Josuke's statue. I could even set everyone else free afterward, it won't matter. Once my duties are fulfilled, nothing will matter anymore. I'm prepared to die if it's with you, Greta."
Greta hugged her wife, "And I'm only willing to die if it's with you, Dianne."
Dianne broke free of the hug, "Since this might be our last day together, we might as well make use of it…" she looked at Greta with a devilish smirk.
Greta laughed, "I like the way you think."
Dianne picked Greta up as she began walking toward their bedroom. Right as she opened the door, a cracking sound was heard as the mansion was split open and began to cave in on itself.
"What the hell?!" Dianne barely had any time to react, "Pink Floyd!"
The two disappeared into a picture in an album in Dianne's room as the entire mansion fell apart, falling on top of itself.
"Greta, are you okay?" Dianne asked as she looked at which photo she had sent them into. She had used great haste in activating the ability and had selected a random photo. The two appeared in a photo of the mansion's basement.
"I'm fine, how about you?"
"Yeah, I'm good," she took a quick sigh of relief, "We're under attack? The mansion was crumbling apart. If I hadn't activated Pink Floyd, we would've both been killed. Jotaro! Did he and the others choose to attack us first?! Dammit! They caught us off guard! Greta, stay here, this is going to be dangerous."
"No, I'm going with. I can help. I can use Van Fleet's Heat Above. But I'm not sitting here alone while you go out there and fight them one on one."
"Fine, just don't get yourself killed, do you hear me?!"
Greta laughed, "I'm too stubborn to die."
Dianne unactivated Pink Floyd's ability and the two were brought out of the photo album's pocket dimension and on top of the ruins of their bedroom. The entire second and third floors had been destroyed, and most of the first floor had caved in. Dianne and Greta stood above the rubble of their home, looking forward as they looked at their enemies.
"Dianne!" Joanne yelled when she saw Dianne and Greta appear, "We're going to end this, bitch!"
Tenmei took out several blood capsules he had saved up from The Wall's attacks as he created blood armor and weapons for Ruby Tuesday. A sword in one hand, a scythe in the other, and throwing knives pinned to its chest.
Everyone had their Stands out, ready to attack. Dianne looked at her enemies, they were more than ready to fight with everything they had.
She couldn't help but smile.
"Alright then! Let's end this! Right here, right now!"
...
A/N: And that's chapter 45! The final battle begins! Let me real quick get the musical reference out of the way. This chapter, One More Red Nightmare, is a reference to the King Crimson song of the same name, it's also the same musical reference for Dianne's Stand, Red Nightmare. This is also the final battle, so One More Red Nightmare also refers to one last battle with Dianne. I wanted to spend a lot of time focusing on how the characters are affected by the deaths at the end of The Wall arc. I really wanted to give the group a lot of time to interact with how they're dealing with the situation, and just hang out and talk about other stuff. Since this final battle is going to take us pretty much all the way to the end of the story, I felt like this chapter needed the calm before the storm. We've only got three chapters left, and they will be jam-packed with this final battle. We are nearing the end, but still have a bit of road to go through. But see you all next week for episode 46: One More Red Nightmare Part 2!
