Later that day, Danny, Tucker and Sabrina were walking back over to Danny's house from Nasty Burger. "You know what I find ironic?" Sabrina asked. "What?" Danny asked. "The name of the restaurant is Nasty Burger, yet their food is delicious." Sabrina said. "Well, nasty is one letter away from tasty." Tucker said. "That is true." Sabrina said. "But you're right, it is ironic. It would've made way more sense to call it Tasty Burger. Amity Park is a weird town." Tucker said. "It sure is. I mean, how many other towns have ghost activity and ghost hunters?" Sabrina asked. "It is a weird town. But hopefully a good one." Danny said. "Yeah, definitely a good one. Sure beats Greendale by a mile." Sabrina smiled. Danny smiled back at her.

"That's the thirtieth time you two have smiled at each other." Tucker said, looking at his PDA. "You're keeping count?" Sabrina asked. "That's just a bit strange, dude." Danny said. "I got bored and couldn't think of anything else to do." Tucker said as if it was normal. Danny and Sabrina exchanged looks. "Anyway, I think I'm gonna go home, install some more software onto my PDA. See you guys later." Tucker said. "See ya." The two replied in unison. "He sure loves technology." Sabrina said. "That's an understatement. He pretty much lives and breathes technology!" Danny agreed.

Soon they got to the door and Maddie answered. "Hi, sweetie! Hi, Sabrina! So good to see you guys." She greeted. "Hey, mom." Danny said. "Hi, Mrs. Fenton. Thanks for having me over." Sabrina smiled. "You're welcome over anytime, Sabrina. I made some chocolate chip cookies for you guys, and there's plenty of chips and soda." Maddie told her. "Thanks, Mrs. Fenton! Sabrina said.

"So Tucker couldn't make it?" Maddie asked. "Nah, he had to go install some software onto his PDA." Danny said, taking his jacket off. He went into the kitchen to grab some snacks. In the kitchen was a plate full of chocolate chip cookies, as well as a family size bag of Ruffles and in the fridge were cans of Pepsi. There was also a stack of plates. Danny grabbed a Pepsi out of his fridge while Sabrina ate one of the cookies. Maddie walked in to geab something out of the cupboard.

"Thank you for the cookies, Mrs. Fenton. These are really good!" Sabrina said. "It's no problem at all, Sabrina. Take as many as you like." Maddie said. "Hey Danny, could you grab me one, too?" Sabrina asked. "Sure thing." Danny said, grabbing her a Pepsi as well. "Thanks. So what's all this for?" She asked. "I think my mom did this since it's your first time coming over to our house, and the first time I came to yours after you moved in your aunt's took us to dinner." Danny said, getting a couple cookies and some ruffles onto a plate for himself.

"That makes sense. Tucker sure is missing out." Sabrina said. "Yeah, well, you know technology - never gives you a moment's rest. It certainly never gives Tucker a moment's rest, anyway." Danny said. Sabrina laughed. "You know, I think I still have yet to figure him out, at least completely. But overall he seems like a nice guy." she said. "Yeah, Tucker's a character. He's very into technology, especially his PDA, and he's a bit too confident for his own good, but all in all he's a solid guy." Danny said. Sabrina knew a few guys like that back at Greendale, Pi for example, while not overconfident like Tucker, was similarly immersed with hunting the supernatural - it was a miracle he didn't figure out her secret!

"Hey Danny, uh, is it okay if I use your bathroom?" Sabrina asked. "Sure, we have two, one down the hall to your right and another one in the basement next to the guest room." He told her. "Thanks." She walked over to the hallway bathroom and knocked on the door to make sure no one was in there. "Occupied, sorry." Maddie's voice said from inside. She went to use the other one.

She walked downstairs and quickly figured out which room was the bathroom, because the guest room door was wide open, revealing that it only had an empty mattress inside of it with no blankets or sheets. "Huh, that's odd." Sabrina thought to herself. A couple moments later, she came out and right across from her was Danny's parents' lab and the ghost portal. "Whoa." she said to herself in astonishment at all of the various ecto-guns, rays and ghost portals. "Hey, Danny!" she called.

Danny ran downstairs. "What is it, Sabrina?" he asked. "Is this your parents' lab?" she asked. "Yep." he told her. "Sorry, I don't mean to snoop down here, I'm just surprised, I've never seen a lab like this." She said. "Don't worry about it." he told her. She caught sight of the ecto-skeleton, a battle suit that seemed to be in development. "What's that thing?" she pointed at it. "My mom and dad call it the ecto-skeleton, it's an armored suit that's supposed to help you fight even the toughest of ghosts, it's not finished yet though." he explained.

She then caught glimpse of the Fenton Thermos. "Hey, I think I saw Danny Phantom use that same thermos when he saved my Aunt Hilda the other day!" she said. Danny didn't know whether or not this was a good time to tell her, but since his parents were around and could come down at any moment, it probably wasn't. "Yeah, this is the Fenton Thermos, we're not entirely sure how he keeps getting ahold of it but this is one of the few inventions of my parents' that actually works. You take the cap off, point it at the ghost and it gets sucked right in." he explained.

"Oh, okay. Cool! And where does it take them?" She asked. Danny pointed at the ghost portal. "In there. That's the Ghost Portal, it leads to the Ghost Zone." he explained. "Have you been in the ghost zone before?" she asked. "Once, and it wasn't exactly cherry land, so I don't plan on going back." he said. She looked at it for a moment. "So, how do you turn it on?" she asked. "The on switch is inside the portal." he said. "Wait, really? That sounds dangerous! I mean, what if someone was inside of it when the portal activates?" Sabrina asked.

Danny unfortunately knew the answer to that question far too well. It's exactly how he ended up as a halfa in the first place. "Let's not find out." he said. "You're probably right. I think we should head back upstairs so that we don't accidentally touch anything we shouldn't and cause a freak accident." She decided. "Good call." he said. "If only that occurred to me Sam and Tucker!" he thought to himself. As the two headed back up, Sabrina stepped on a piece of paper. She picked it up and noticed it was the same wedding invitation that Vlad had of Jack and Maddie. "What's that?" Danny asked. "I found an invitation from your parents' wedding. Your dad had a mullet?" Sabrina asked. "Yeah, as if he couldn't be any dorkier." Danny said, the two laughing. "He wants to grow it back out but my mom won't let him." he said. "Your mom's smart." she said.

The two laughed some more. "So, uh, where do I put this?" she asked. "I think it fell off of this." he said, putting it back on a shelf above the fireplace. The two went back upstairs. "So Danny, uh, what's the guest bedroom for? If you don't mind my asking. I just noticed there was a bed down there and nothing else." she said. "My dad built it in case he had any inventions that he'd be up most of the night working on. He'd take blankets and sheets down there if that was the case." Danny explained.

Soon, the two went back to snacking and then played video games. They played Halo Reach for a couple hours until the doorbell rang. Maddie answered it to find Zelda at the door. "Hi, Zelda." she greeted with a smile. "Hi, Maddie. I'm here to pick up Sabrina. Dinner's almost ready." Zelda smiled back. "I've been here that long?" Sabrina asked. "Right? It didn't feel like it was that long." Danny said. "Well, I had fun. Thank you guys for having me." Sabrina said to Maddie. "It was a pleasure having you over, Sabrina. Like I said, you're welcome any time." Maddie said.

She and Zelda begun to chat for a second, leaving her and Danny to talk to one another some more. "I had a lot of fun with you today." she smiled. "Thanks, I had fun with you, too." he smiled back. He then hugged her, which made the both of them smile and blush like crazy. Maddie and Zelda each caught glimpse of it and both said "aww" in unison. "Thanks. Uh, what was that for?" she asked. "For what you said earlier at Nasty Burger. I was pretty upset and you really cheered me up." he said. "Well, I meant it, and I'm glad I did. I'll see you tomorrow, Danny." she smiled. "See you tomorrow, Sabrina." he smiled back.

And with that, she and Zelda left. "We just hugged!" Danny thought to himself happily, his heart fluttering.
