"Today we have a test to perform transformation jutsu that we have been practising this week. Since the Uzumaki twins are new, they will watch all of you do it and then attempt to perform it at the end" Iruka sensei explained.
"This is bothersome" Shikamaru groaned. Standing lazily with his hands in his pockets. After the groaning and whining, we got in a queue.
"Mimi-chan, I have a great idea" Rin whisper shouted with her mischievous, foxy grin. I quirked my eyebrow and leaned toward her, I'm bored at this point so any fun idea will do.
My eyes widened as I listened to Rin's idea. Screaming and squeals erupted in class making me and Rin clamp our ears in annoyance. Our eyes went in front of us to see Sasuke with girls fangirling all around with hearts in their eyes and oddly wiggling their bodies.
Rin growled as she watched the emo ignore everyone, acting all mighty and transforming into a perfect copy of Iruka sensei. Iruka nodded happily, scribbling in his mark papers.
"Uzumaki Mito and Rin. Did you get the hand signs?" Iruka sensei asked. Rin and I nodded before doing a high-five.
"Let's show that jerk who's the strongest" Rin exclaimed, I smirked when the fangirls glared at us. "Hmph, I bet they Will fail," one said.
"transformation jutsu!"
Everyone gasped when I turned to a perfect copy of the legendary toad sage Jiraiya while Rin turned to Tsunade Senju. We had seen their photos in a book.
I did my introduction of jiraiya, waving my white hair around and doing his funny moves. Tsunade acted angry and punched me in the head yelling for me to shut my mouth.
"Release".
We turned to Iruka with innocent smiles, "How did we do Sensei".
"P-perfect. That was well done" he whispered.
The academy soon finished and my twin and I parted ways to practice while she went to prank everyone per usual. Silly girl, but she makes me so happy every day, ill let her have a childhood for the coming years.
I strapped my weights on and slowly added chakra to them till they reached a good weight and began jogging. I've been wanting to clear my mind after the atrocity I saw. Cough fangirling cough...
The academy wasn't what I expected it to be. It was boring and useless. Yes, useless. All we learn is just a bunch of history lessons, low-rank ninjutsu that nobody probably uses anymore and academy-style taijutsu which anyone can predict.
only clan heirs with living families get benefits from whatever they got taught while civilians and orphans like us have to grow 100 brains to be able to discover ways to get stronger.
The learning system is flawed. I noticed since I watched team 7 being created from the top student, smartest student, and lowest scoring student. Really, it was unbalanced and team 7 is the biggest reason. I disliked their whole forced teamwork where Sasuke only wants to work alone and is pampered by Kakashi 24/7, Naruto being ignored and neglected, and Sakura being useless and not working on herself till wayyy too late in the series.
Seeing I was sweating bullets, I stopped. The sun had gone down, I realised. I was thinking so hard I didn't notice the time. Time to go home and prepare dinner then give this academy another try.
I did try to attend the academy this whole week but it just wasn't right that I ended up quitting on day 4 along with Rin. So, I talked with my sister who shared the same feelings and we created shadow clones that took our place in the academy and return the information while we focus on new training by ourselves away from the academy.
The only times we went down to the academy is when there was a taijutsu class or test. if our clone were to get hit multiple times it would disappear.
And so we continued 2 years on that way. A clone went to the academy, and our real selves went to the training ground and practised ninjutsu. We eventually popped off and went to the Hokage demanding to give us the genin test to graduate early to which he agreed after seeing how angry we were.
Really, the only people I managed to bear with and like in our class were Hinata, Shino, Shikamaru, and Choji. They seemed the heirs with brains and didn't avoid us for no reason.
I will change this failure of a system when Rin becomes Hokage. She will be the best Hokage and make Konoha great again.
my sister and I created 5 shadow clones, then did transformation jutsu, and finally finished with the body replacement jutsu. It was such a piece of cake I shook my head.

Yes, we graduated academy 2 years early and became genin now at 10 years old.
Pretty good considering we have 2 years before Naruto's plot starts, where everyone becomes genin at 12.
We are currently sitting in the waiting room with the Hokage to see who's our sensei.
"Hokage Sama" a man greeted behind us appearing in swirling leaves. I grinned seeing non-other than, Yamato sensei! This. Is. Excellent.
Considering he has the wood release and control over the beasts we could benefit from it and have him train us to use Kurama's chakra.
I can't wait to see how powerful we will be by the end of the 2 next year.
