AN- I might be killed for not working on the stories I already have posted, but when something wants to come out of you, well, it's best just to let it. I was reading some poetry and found these two poems, the first 'The Passionate Shepard to His Love', by Christopher Marlowe, and the second, well, that's the next chapter. I thought it would be cute to rewrite it as a love letter from Remus Lupin. This has exactly the same number of lines as the original poem, and I kept the last word of each line as the same in the original, so it also has exactly the same rhyming scheme. Cool! Paraphrasing is fun.

The Passionate Werewolf to His Love-

For my darling, for my love

This is for you for me to prove

For all of England's craggy fields

And across all borders this feeling yields

Like the sea crashing upon stormy rocks

Like birds flying free in flocks

It was so natural for me to fall

Now I sing this madrigal

And for you, so many roses

A dozen or more coloured posies

Could decorate your wedding kirtle

If you say no I'll feel like Myrtle

I may be part wolf but with no wool

That over your eyes I could pull

Darling, don't leave me out in the cold

Take me in your heart of gold

Sweeter than the reddest buds

Stronger than the strongest studs

Into the future we always move

And now I can say it's you I love

Aloud and noble I can sing

Will you marry me one spring morning?

Than together we can move

And forever be my love
