Once again brought to you by me and SuperSentai199, we bring you a follow up to our retelling of the OG Star Wars trilogy, by doing the sequels! Some big changes will pop up in this story, as we follow Sam and Alastor's son, Anakin Junior, as he joins Rey and Finn on their journey to find his uncle Luke.

13. Chapter 13

Volume 5:

Chapter 13: Star Destroyer

Collin said, "four parsecs to go."

Rose said, "I just hope we're on time."

Collin held her shoulder with a kind look as he said, "we'll get this done. I promise."

Rose gave a grateful smile, and as their faces got closer, they heard a grunt, knocking them out of their trance.

They looked towards Polly, whom they had picked up for this mission along with Poe.

Rose asked, "uh, you can actually do this, right?"

"Yeah, about that…. Guys, I can do it", Polly said.

Padme asked, "why did you phrase it like that?"

Polly said, "even with that equipment you bought, this is gonna be a tough mission."

"But we can't lose hope yet", Poe said.

HK-50 said, "query: shall any of us stay on the ship after we land?"

"Maybe you and Polly should stay on the ship, just incase", Collin said.

Polly said, "um, hello, you need me on this mission: REMEMBER!?"

"Ooops, sorry", Collin said.

Padme said, "let's have HK and BB-4 stay on the ship."

BB-4 beeped as she rolled around.

HK-50 said, "statement: we will come to the rescue if you meatbags need us."

"Thanks, you two", Padme said.

HK-50 said, "genuine statement: you're welcome."

BB-4 beeped in joy.

"Droids are so cute", Polly said.

The others all nodded.

….

Meanwhile with the Resistance….

Ackbar said, "we need that team to accomplish their mission. If they do, the First Order won't be able to catch us on their scanners."

Sam said, "they'll manage. We aren't going to take such a major gamble with so many people on board."

"We just to need to trust in the force, that everything goes according to plan", Ahsoka said

The others all nodded in agreement.

"Commander Skywalker, I'm getting a transmission", a soldier said.

Sam asked, "from who?"

"It's from one of your children", the soldier said.

Sam quickly said, "send it through!"

The soldier nods his head.

A hologram of Padme appears.

She said, "hey dad. And dad. And dad. Heh."

Sam asked, "Padme, where are you?"

Padme said, "me and Collin's team are about to board the Star Destroyer."

"Please be very careful sweetie", Alastor said.

Padme said, "we will. We promise. May the force be with you."

"May the force be with you too", Prime said.

The call ended.

Angela whined a little and Prime comforted his daughter.

He whispered, "they'll be fine. I promise."

Prime kissed his daughter's forehead.

She snuggled close to her father's chest.

Alastor and Sam pat Angela's head.

….

We then see Ani and his group.

They were aboard the Millennium Falcon, flying at lightspeed.

Rey, Finn and Ani are getting into three rectangular pods.

Breha, King and Chewie stand nearby.

Even several Porgs were huddled in various areas of the ship.

Rey said, "as soon as we launch, you jump back out of range. Stay there until you get our signal for where to rendezvous."

Ani said, "if you see any of the others before we do, tell them…."

Chewie groaned what he should say.

Finn said, "yeah, perfect. Tell them that."

King said, "I don't like us sending you three there. We should be going with you!"

Ani said, "sorry King. But if he gets his hands on all of us, things should get bad."

Finn said, "we can't risk it."

Breha sighed before she kissed Finn!

He was shocked for a moment.

The kiss ended as Breha said, "you better come back to me!"

Finn gave a small nod as Chewie and King gave Rey and Ani one last hug before they sent them off.

Lola had flown into Ani's pocket before the pods were launched.

The three pods rocketed towards the hangar of the Star Destroyer.

With Kylo Ren waiting with several troopers.

The three pods then land in the hangar.

The three Jedi learners looked up at Kylo as he stood there.

….

Meanwhile, with Poe and the group….

Polly said, "I'm cloaking our approach. We should be off their scopes. Then we slice a slit in their shield. Bippity boppity boop, and slip right through."

The ship goes through the shields unseen.

….

Eda said, "the team have made it on. Now we have to give them time."

Jesse said, "have all transports on standby for deployment. We'll give them as much time as we can."

Ackbar said, "may the Force be with us all."

….

We see Collin, Rose, Padme and Poe all disguised as First Order officers, with BB-8 having a can over him to disguise his appearance. Polly was stuffed into Collin's coat.

They slowly made their way towards their destination.

"It's hot in here", Polly whispered.

Collin whispered, "be quiet."

Polly grumbled under her breath.

Poe whispered, "c'mon. Let's go."

As the group were walking, an elevator was going up and inside were Rey, Ani, Finn and Kylo Ren.

Kylo had all of their sabers clipped to his belt.

Rey said, "you don't have to do this. We feel the conflict in you."

Ani said, "it's tearing you apart. Ben, when we all touched hands, we saw your future. Just the shape of it, but solid and clear. As clear as we see you now."

Finn said, "you will not bow before Snoke. You will turn. We'll help you. We saw it."

Kylo said, "I saw something, too. Because of what I saw, I know when the moment comes, you'll be the ones to turn. You'll stand with me. Rey…. I saw who your parents are."

All three Jedi went wide-eyed as the doors before them opened, revealing Malakis and his guards there.

Malakis smirked and said, "well done, my good and faithful apprentice. My faith in you is restored. Young Rey. Young Skywalker. Young Finn. Welcome…."

….

Collin asked, "so this is it? The tracker's right behind this door."

Polly peaked from Collin's jacket and said, "yes."

Collin whispered, "get to work."

Polly pocket out and asked Rose, "hand me your necklace for a second."

Rose asked, "why?"

Polly said, "just give it to me!"

Rose handed Polly her necklace, which she used to open the doors!

She handed it back to Rose, who looked grateful for the act.

Polly said, "Haysian smelt. Best conductor. Thanks."

Rose said, "you're welcome", she turned to Poe and said, "good time to figure out how to get back to the fleet?"

Poe said, "Finn told me where the nearest escape pods are."

"Well then let's get going", Padme said.

Eda then called, "tell me something good."

Poe said, "Poe here, we're almost there. Have the transports prepared for escape."

….

Eda said, "got it", she then addressed Ackbar, "Admiral, they made it. Get everyone ready to head to the base."

Ackbar gave a nod as everyone got ready.

C3-P0 rushed over to Sam and said, "Master Sam, I must inform you-"

Sam said, "hold on a sec Threepio!"

….

Rose said, "we're running out of time."

Collin said, "come on, how's it going?"

Polly said, "almost there."

"Well hurry", Poe said.

….

C3-P0 said, "Sir's, we cannot keep the ship steady if someone doesn't stay behind!"

Ackbar gave a grim look and said, "I'll do it…."….

Collin said, "now or never."

Polly said, "now."

Padme said, "you're up."

They opened the doors, but found themselves surrounded by Scouts led by Phasma.

They all yelled;

"You there, hands up!"

"Watch 'em, watch 'em."

"Drop your weapons, now!"

"Hands up, Rebel scum."

"Get down! I said, 'down!'"

Phasma approached, sounding smug, "well…. Look what the scum dragged in…."

….

Everyone of the Resistance ship are rushing towards the transport ships.

A rebel announced, "please board the transports according to your evacuation designation. All transports must be cleared…."

What C3-P0 had been trying to tell the others was that Leia was awake.

She stood by Ackbar as they watched the evacuation.

Leia said, "now, time to board your transport."

Ackbar said, "for the transports to escape, someone needs to stay behind and pilot the cruiser. Since the team was taken captive, the only way to keep them off of the transports is to distract them."

Leia said, "too many losses. I can't take anymore."

Ackbar, "I've already fought in two wars General. I don't think I can last another."

Leia smiled sadly.

Leia and Ackbar both said, "May the Force be..."

Leia chuckled, "you go on. I've said it enough."

Ackbar said, "May the Force be with you always."

Leia gave Ackbar a hug.

Then she walked towards the ship.

Her brother and their family followed her into the ship.

….

A pilot said, "we were able to get the cloaking device activated. We should be off their scopes long enough. It's a pity we had to use these as a last resort, given how faulty they are."

D'acy said, "let's just hope this works."

….

Malakis said, "come closer, children."

He used the Force to bring Rey, Finn and Ani closer to him.

Rey, Ani and Finn were scared but they kept a strong look on their faces.

Malakis said, "so much strength. Darkness rises, and light to meet it. I warned my young apprentice that as he grew stronger, his equal in the light would rise. Luke Skywalker…. I assumed. Wrongly. Instead, it's a Scout, a Scavenger, and Sam Skywalker's son. Closer, I said."

The three are brought closer against their will.

"You underestimate Skywalker…. And Ben Solo…. Ani…. Finn…. And me", Rey said bravely.

Ani growled, "none of our fates are set in stone!"

Malakis said, "oh…. Have you seen something? A weakness in my apprentice. Is that why you came?"

Malakis then began to laugh.

Malakis called the sabers to him and said, "young fools. It was I who bridged your minds. I stoked Ren's conflicted soul. I knew he was not strong enough to hide it from you. And you were not wise enough to resist the bait. To see your past, and your future. And now, you will give me Luke Skywalker. Then I will kill you all with the cruelest stroke."

Rey hissed, "no."

Malakis cackled, "yes. Give me everything."

Finn growled, "No! No! No!"

Ani yelled, "you cruel bastard!"

All three of them screamed in pure pain and agony as they were held in the air.

Kylo Ren turned his gaze away.

….

Back on the ship….

Sam froze as he felt something through the force.

As did Ahsoka.

In fact, every Jedi on the cruisers and smaller ships felt it.

Sam then whispered, "Ani…. Rey…. Finn."

Ahsoka whispered, "by the Force…."

….

"The pain….", Plo Koon said.

Raine said, "by the force…."

….

Sam whispered, "nononononono…."

D'acy, unaware of what the Jedi were feeling, said, "we're approaching the mineral planet, Crait. An uncharted hideout from the days of the Rebellion. It's abandoned, but heavily armored and powered."

Leia steeled herself and said, "Ackbar knew the First Order was tracking our big ship. They told everyone so no-one would freak out. They're not monitoring for little transports. But that mission we sent the others on will have stopped any chance of them figuring out our plan."

Alastor said, "so we could slip down to the surface and board smaller ships onto the star cruisers in order to escape back to the New Republic. That could work. I just hope Padme and the others will be okay."

Leia said, "I'm sure they'll be fine."

Eda asked, "but what about Ackbar?"

Leia sajd, "Akbar is more interested in protecting the light than they were seeming like a hero."

...

We see Ackbar on the bridge.

Prepared to give their life to save their cause.

Ackbar said, "Godspeed, Rebels."

….

Poe's group were all being held captive.

"I cannot believe this all went wrong so fast", Polly muttered.

Hux said, "well done, Phasma."

Hux then walked over to Padme, Collin and Polly.

He smirked and said, "I'm going to take great pleasure in killing your father…."

Polly retaliated by flicking his eye with her tongue!

"Ow, my eye", Hux exclaimed.

One Scout let out a chuckle.

Hux turned to them with a harsh glare and growled, "is something funny?!"

The scout then quickly shut up.

Hux growled, "step forward, Scout…."

The Scout walked forward.

He growled, "what is your name, Scout?"

The Scout said, "J-Jaina-"

Hux reprimanded, "your serial number, fool."

The female scout said, "FN-T-Two One Seven Three…."

The group began to feel really bad for the female scout.

Hux growled, "I'll have Phasma deal with you later…."

The female scout trembled in fear.

Hux growled, "now get back into formation…."

The female scout then got back into formation.

Hux turned back towards Phasma.

An officer then said, "sir, we ran a decloaking scan, and we've discovered that thirty Resistance transports have just launched from the cruiser."

Hux chuckled darkly.

"This can't be good", Polly whispered.

Padme whispered, "no it can't."

Hux asked, "are our weapons ready?"

The officer said, "ready and aimed, sir."

"Fire at will", Hux said.

Collin said, "wait. No, no. No, you can't!"

Padme yelled, "you bastards!"

Rose begged, "no!"

….

A pilot messaged Ackbar, "Admiral, we're taking fire! Do we turn around?"

Ackbar yelled, "no, you're too far out. Full speed to planetfall. Full speed! Go as fast as you can!"

….

Rey, Finn and Ani crash to the floor.

Malakis was laughing as he said " Well, well…. I did not expect Skywalker to be so wise. We will give him and the Jedi Order…. The death he desires."

Finn groaned, "no!"

Malakis continued, "after the Resistance is gone…. Once the New Republic is eradicated…. We will go to his planet and obliterate the entire island. And whatever Jedi remain…. They will also fall to the First Order!"

Rey, Ani and Ginn tried to run at Malakis, but are sent over to the windows, to see the First Order attacking the transports.

"Such spunk. Look here now. The entire Resistance on those transports. Soon they will all be gone…. For you, all is lost", Malakis said.

Ani turned to glare at Malakis.

"As for you Anakin Jr Skywalker…. You will lose your fathers as well…. Leaving the Jedi without a leader", Malakis said in malice.

Ani growled and raced at Malakis, only to get sent back again!

"Ooh. And still that fiery spit of hope. You all have the spirits of true Jedi! And because of that, you must die", Malakis said.

Malakis then used the force to lift the three, and they were in front of Kylo Ren.

Malakis said, "and a pity. I had hoped the girl would be like her ancestor during his…. Earlier years…."

Rey grew a confused expression as Ani and Finn felt dread at the cryptic words.

Malamis said, "my worthy apprentice, son of darkness, heir apparent to Lord Vader. You shall fulfill the will of our Master. Where there was conflict, I now sense resolve. Where there was weakness, strength. Complete your training, and fulfill your destiny."

Kylo Ren then picks up his lightsaber and said, "I know what I have to do."

"Ben", Rey said.

Malakis begins to laugh again.

Ani said, "please, don't!"

Finn said, "please…."

Malakis said, "you think you can turn him? Pathetic children. I cannot be betrayed, I cannot be beaten. Just as my own Master could never truly be beaten…."

Ani felt a dark presence behind those last few words.

'My own Master?'

Malakis said, "I see his mind, I see his every intent. Yes. I see him turning the lightsaber to strike true. And now, foolish children, he ignites it, and kills his true enemy!"

A lightsaber ignites!

But not through any of our heroes.

No.

The shocked look Malakis gives as he looks down makes it clear what's happened!

Ani's sab has ignited and sliced Malakis in two!

It turns out Kylo Ren had used the force to ignite the lightsaber.

Then, all three lightsabers flew into Ani, Finn and Rey's outstretched hands as Malakis' two halves fell to the floor.

Ani, Finn and Rey then stood up.

The red guards then ran towards the group.

All four stood together with their weapons drawn!

The four then began to battle the red guards.

The four force users slowly making work of their foes, all four of them working like a well oiled machine.

….

As this occurred, the Rebels were desperately trying to make their way to safety as the First Order kept firing on them!

….

Soon the battle ended as Rey tossed Kylo Ren the saber, allowing him to kill the final guard.

Rey said, "Ben! The fleet. Order them to stop firing. There's still time to save the fleet. Ben?"

Ani didn't like the look his cousin gave as he stared at the lifeless body of Malakis.

"It's time to let old things die…. Malakis…. Skywalker…. The Sith…. The Jedi, the Rebels…. Let it all die." Kylo Ren said, "Rey, Ani, Finn. I want you to join me. We can rule together and bring a new order to the galaxy."

Ani said, "don't do this, Ben. Please don't go this way."

Finn said, "this isn't a good path to take!"

Kylo said, "no, no. You're still holding on! Let go! Rey, do you wanna know the truth about your parents? Or have you always known? And you've just hidden it away. You know the truth. Say it. Say it."

Rey was shedding tears as they fell down her face. Ani hugged Rey.

Rey cried, "they were nobody."

Kylo said, "indeed. They were filthy junk traders who sold you off for drinking money. They're dead in a paupers' grave in the Jakku desert. You have no place in this story. You come from nothing. You're nothing. But not to me. Join me. Please."

Rey seemed to consider it before Finn suddenly said, "bantha shit."

"You are lying Kylo Ren! There is no way Rey's parents would have left her for that", Ani said.

Finn said, "exactly! What you said makes no sense. If they had a shuttle, why would they sell her for drinking money?"

Ani added, "and if they left the planet, why would they be dead on Jakku? You're lying!"

Rey looked at Kylo, seeing the look on his face.

He had been caught.

Rey growled, "what do you know?"

Kylo said, "Skywalker didn't tell you…. What your bloodline is?"

Ani, Finn and Rey all grew apprehensive of what Kylo said.

Kylo said, "your connection to the Force. It comes from someone powerful…."

Rey asked, "what do you mean? Who are you talking about?"

Kylo realized he had said too much.

"Answer me", Rey shouted.

Kylo closed his eyes.

Ani hugged Rey to comfort her.

Ani glared at Kylo and said, "we'll never join you…."

Kylo Ren glared at the trio.

The trio tried to pull the blue saber towards them, but Kylo began pulling it towards him as well.

As their power met in the middle, trying to take the saber for one another, the saber cracked!

Sending all four of them back as a loud crack was heard throughout the whole room!

….

A First Order officer said, "sir, the Resistance cruiser's preparing to jump to lightspeed."

Hux said, "it's empty. They're just trying to pull our attention away. Pathetic. Keep your fire on the ship was turning right in their direction.

….

Phasma growled, "execution by blaster is too good for them. Let's make this hurt."

Poe and his group were on the ground.

Collin and Rose looked at one another in fear.

Padme did the same with Poe.

Polly said, "I'll see you nerf herding Imperial scum in Hell…."

Phasma said, "on my command."

….

Back on the main Resistance ship.

Ackbar was getting ready to prepare the ship for lightspeed.

He sent a transmission to the Star Destroyer.

….

Connix said, "they're running away."

Jesse said, "no, he isn't."

….

Peavey yelled, "no!"

Hux shouted, "fire on that cruiser!"

Peavey said, "sir, we are receiving a message from the cruiser!"

They answered, hearing Ackbar speak.

Ackbar said, "General Hux? This is Admiral Ackbar of the New Republic!"

Hux asked, "what do you want?"

Ackbar asked, "do you know what this is?"

Hux asked, "what? All I see is your damned cruiser?!"

Ackbar growled, "I'll tell you what this is…. This…. Is…. A…. TRAP!"

….

Phasma said, "execute."

But before the group could have their heads sliced off….

….

The ship had entered lightspeed!

The Star Destroyer was split in two as Ackbar sacrificed their life to destroy the ship, illuminating the space around them, as the crash made absolutely no sound….

….

Back on the Transport ships….

Leia and the others watched as the ship exploded.

Sam said, "may the force be with you, old friend…."

Prime said, "let's not let his sacrifice go to waste…. We must hurry…."

….

Everyone in the hangar was scattered after the Raddus made it's blow.

Rose yelled, "guys! There's a shuttle back that way! We gotta go!"

Before they could run, Phasma and her firing squad all stood before them, ready to shoot them.

Phasma yelled, "rebel scum!"

But before they could shoot the group, blaster bolts started firing at them rapidly.

Phasma yelled, "what?"

An AT-ST started firing at the scouts.

The bolts simply bounced off of Phasma's armor as her forces were shot up!

Poe yelled, "BB-8!"

Padme yelled, "BB-4!"

Collin yelled, "HK-50!"

Polly yelled, "DONKEY!"

The grouo ignored…. THAT, as they saw the droids piloting the AT-ST to shoot at the troopers.

HK-50 yelled, "excited statemenrmt: TAKE THIS YOU IDIOTIC IMPERIAL MEATBAGS!"

The three droids kept on firing at the scouts.

This allowed the group to make a break for the ship.

But as they ran, they were getting shot at by some scouts.

Collin pulled out his saber and began deflecting the bolts!

Rose yelled, "Collin!"

Collin yelled,"go! I'll hold them off!"

"Come on", Poe said.

"You better come back alive or else our fathers are gonna kill us", Polly said.

Collin yelled, "I will! Just got!"

The group then began running towards the shuttles.

Collin kept deflecting the blasts!

Phasma then ran towards Collin.

Collin saw her and prepared himself.

Phasma then clashed her spear against Collin's lightsaber.

She growled, "you're a weak willed worm!"

"Look who's talking", Collin shouted as he quickly tried to kick Phasma in the leg.

Phasma stepped back and said, "foolish oaf!"

Collin quickly tried to strike Phasma with his saber.

She managed to block the attack!

Phasma then quickly trips Collin!

She said, "tell your fellow Jedi that Phasma sent you-", before she was suddenly shot back a few feet by a powerful blaster bolt!

Collin turned to see Rose there, holding a bo-caster and growling, "gst away from my man, you witch!"

Collin was blushing like mad.

Rose helped him up as a fire broke out between them and Phasma.

Phasma hissed, "you're scum…."

Rose nodded and said, "rebel scum."

The two ran off to the ship, where the others were waiting.

They quickly used it to escape the hangar before it was engulfed in flames!

Little did they know, Phasma had escaped in her own shuttle….
