Chapter 1: The Mysterious Gunman Vash
Some people believe that you must sacrifice others to save your loved ones. I am one of those people. I am Vash the Stampede. I believe in peace and love. That's why I must sacrifice. I am a believer.

"He must be around here somewhere," the man said. Five men bounty hunters were looking for the $$60 billion bounty on the fugitives' head. They were looking for Vash the Stampede. They drove their Jeep around the town looking all over.

They spotted the back of someone walking down the dirty and dusty road of the town that was known as 'The Town of Carcasses' long ago. "That must be him! He looks just like the wanted poster," one of the men said. He glanced at the poster in his hand to see if he was correct. "Let's go," the man driving said determinately.

They stopped just behind the clueless man. They jumped out of the vehicle and one of them held a gun up to his back. They noticed that the man had been holding a gun.

"Drop your gun and put your hands behind your head," the hunter holding the gun said. The Typhoon did exactly what he said. "Thank you for your cooperation." They didn't notice the holster on his other hip or the other two on his back under his red coat. He pulled the two guns out and spun around, pointing them at the hunters. The one with the gun fell back to the others.

The most cowardly one said, "You're not the Humanoid Typhoon!" The armed gunman shot four of the five men, leaving the cowardly one standing. "You're mistaken. I am Vash the Stampede," he replied. The man noticed the other holster. "But you have four guns! The Humanoid Typhoon only has one!" he replied shaking. "You are also mistaken," He pulled out two more guns that were hidden under his long red coat that was flowing in the wind. He glared at the hunter with his greenish blue eyes. He held the two guns plus the two he just pulled out, his fingers on the triggers. "I have six."

The gunman paused for a long moment. He watched the man looking at his dying friends that were swimming in pools of blood in grief. "I have decided to let you live. Now go," he finally said, pointing the guns at the dusty ground. "But, y-you're..." "Go before I change my mind!" he interrupted. The hunter left the dead corpses and started to run. "Oh, and tell the rest that the Humanoid Typhoon, Vash the Stampede has come to town," he called after him. He put the guns back into the correct holsters. He picked up the gun and held it in his hand as he walked towards the setting sun.

A/N: This is short because it's just kind of an introduction. If this chapter confused you, I'm just going to say that that's good. Anyway, review me!
