Welcome one and all to this year's Veteran's Day Special! Last time, we got introduced to the Imperial Capitol, Alcamoth. Now it's time for our first member of Xenoblade's cast to enter. And of course, since we're literally in her hometown, it's going to be Melia. So let's not waste a second! Here we go!

Heart to Heart 63: At The Top Of The World

Participants: Spyro and Melia

Location: Sky Terrace

Affinity: Green

Introduction

Spyro: The view from up here is incredible!

Melia: One of the perks of the Imperial City. It's really easy to defend since we have a 360 line of sight.

Spyro: Warfang weirdly felt the same way, though it wasn't floating.

Melia: This Warfang, I assume it was your capital then?

Spyro: At least of the Dragon realms.

Melia: It sounds like you may not have enjoyed your time there.

Pass/Pass

Spyro: Well... I wouldn't say that entirely. To be honest, I never really got to experience the place as it usually is.

Melia: Meaning?

Spyro: Well, when I was there, it was under siege by Malefor's forces. And by the time everything was peaceful, we had the Destroyer to deal with and already left.

Melia: I see.

Spyro: But while I was there, I felt something I never expected.

Melia: That being?

Spyro: Sort of like I was on top of the world. At least my world anyways.

Melia: Returning to a site of one's heritage can tend to do that.

Spyro: I guess so...

Pass/Fail

Spyro: Well... I wouldn't say that entirely. To be honest, I never really got to experience the place as it usually is.

Melia: Meaning?

Spyro: Well, when I was there, it was under siege by Malefor's forces. And by the time everything was peaceful, we had the Destroyer to deal with and already left.

Melia: I see.

Spyro: But while I was there, I felt something I never expected.

Melia: That being?

Spyro: I really don't know how to describe it, honestly. Maybe as an immense sense of pride? Or something like that.

Melia: You were in the crown jewel of your ancestors and their alliances. That may be somewhat ingrained into you.

Spyro: I guess...

Fail/Pass

Spyro: I didn't even get to spend much time there! All we got to do before leaving to stop the Destroyer was fight a giant magma Golem!

Melia: So you never got to experience it?

Spyro: Not as it normally is, considering the city was under siege.

Melia: I guess that would ruin a tourist viewpoint.

Spyro: Yeah, definitely. And it's a real shame, based on how I felt there.

Melia: Meaning what exactly?

Spyro: Not sure how to describe it exactly. It felt weirdly like... pride.

Melia: Perhaps stemming from knowing your ancestors may have built this city? Looking up on their crown jewel?

Spyro: I guess...

Spyro: Yeah, definitely. And it's a real shame, based on how I felt there.

Melia: Meaning what exactly?

Spyro: I have no idea. Aside from feeling disappointed that I couldn't actually see the place as normal.

Melia: I guess, seeing how important it must be to your heritage.

Spyro: And it was very important, or so I'm told.

Melia: Maybe once you get back home, you'll be able to see it as it was meant to be

Spyro: If that happens, I look forward to it.
