Chapter 31: Phase One
Yona held a paper fan over her lips. She had the biggest smile on display and she was really trying to hide it because it would give them away. Yun looked super cute in the pink and cream dress that Captain Gi-gan had found for him. On her other side with his hair brushed and a little bit of make-up Zeno made an adorable young girl in his yellow and blue dress. It was just so funny to see how easily two young men looked like young girls. She really wanted to laugh and giggle but they were on a mission and she really couldn't break character. Still…
Yona's eyes looked Zeno up and down. Even if Yun could easily pass with his clothes and his voice, being the youngest of the group did have its perks; Zeno's voice was very much a man's voice. It had been a challenge to get Zeno to agree not to speak. Not once! They were going to try and pass him/her off as a mute. Hopefully that wouldn't compromise their plans.
The group arrived at a store that was saying it was hiring but was actually a front to Kum-ji's trafficking scheme. The storekeeper's eyes widened at the three beautiful young women that had entered his place. He'd seen many beautiful women over the last several days but none were as exotic looking as these three. One had bright yellow hair, next to a purely red haired girl and the third with strawberry colored hair. They could get a fortune from these three! I bet the red head is quite the vixen, but knowing these country girls she's probably a virgin! His perverted thoughts were interrupted by the strawberry haired girl.
"Excuse me." she said trying to get his attention. "Is this the shop that's hiring young women?"
Oh if only you knew. He thought before putting on his best shopkeep face. "Indeed it is!"
"Oh thank goodness!" she exclaimed excitedly. "We've come a long way looking for a job to help support our families."
"Hmm." he hummed wishing he could really keep them for himself. "You say you want to work here? Then I'd like to welcome you." He motioned for them to follow him. "Right this way."
Yona took the lead. Trying to brave but inside she felt like trembling. He motioned for her to open the door and walk inside. Once I open this door there's absolutely no turning back! Yona smiled friendly at him as the man stood behind them.
"Please wait right here." he grinned greedily at her. "It'll only be a moment." He closed the door and walked away.
Yona felt sick. The man was just like those perverted old men at the palace that had stared at her with lust, all the while having seen her grow from a child to the young woman she was today. Hak had always been there to keep them at bay. I'm all alone now. She thought as she tried to calm her nerves. She felt a hand on her shoulder. Zeno gave her a reassuring smile. Right. I've got both Yun and Zeno with me. I'm not alone! I'm here to protect the women of my country from these men! Suddenly a click was heard and all three vanished into the darkness below them as the floor disappeared beneath their feet.
M-Angel: Sorry for the short chapter. I have some personal problems going on but i really wanted to get this chapter out today. Promise to try and make the next chapter a bit longer.
