Naruto woke up early. He saw that Madara was sleeping in peace. He smiled softly and planted a light kiss on her forehead while he got dressed and prepared to go train. When he was outside, he saw Sasuke working on taijutsu. "You're up early." Naruto said.
"I've been waiting for you." Sasuke said.
"Oh? What's up? Naruto asked.
"I want you to train me." Sasuke said in a stern tone.
"Why? We're just genin, your mom is our sensei." Naruto said as he started stretching.
"Don't bullshit me. You aren't a genin. In fact, you're probably stronger than a chunin, if not jonin. You're the person that can help me gain power to defeat Itachi." Sasuke said.
Naruto sighed. He took a few minutes as he held a stretch. "Alright. I want you to charge at me with everything you've got." Naruto said. This caught Sasuke off guard. "You heard me, charge with everything you've got." Naruto ordered.
Sasuke did just that and charged at the blond and was easily sent flying. "Build up your speed. You move too slow. Even if my reflects are fairly better." Naruto said.
"What do you mean? Increase my speed? Can't you teach me a jutsu that does it?" Sasuke asked.
"Sure, but I'm not. I want you to come at me with a speed that's blind to the naked eye. That's your problem. You're too slow and you get flashy with your moves. A shinobi doesn't get flashy." Naruto explained. Naruto smirked when he saw Sasuke's face. "Back in the day, how do you think Hashirama, Tobriama, your father, your mother, Itachi, Shisui, how do you think they were so strong? They developed and focused on perfecting the basics." Naruto explained.
"How would you recommend that I build up my speed?" Sasuke asked.
Naruto smirked and placed a seal on Sasuke's chest. "This is a chakra weight. Your body will never adjust and you'll need to constantly channel chakra through it. This is how you will get better control along with being able to move faster. When you can meet your original speed with that on, we'll move to the next step. Go ahead and do some laps around the village." Naruto said.
"Alright." Sasuke said as he left.
"Good, now I can do my own training." Naruto said as he began working on perfecting his Scorch Release. Three hours passed before Sasuke returned and when he saw Naruto create a massive black fox, he was in disbelief.
"What was that?" Sasuke asked as he was trying to catch his breath.
"It's called the Scorch Release - Kitsune's Black Rage." Naruto explained.
"Scorch Release? Is that some kind of bloodline?" Sasuke asked.
"Something like that. You see, I'm working on perfecting it for Madara and your mother. I have a theory that if a person trains certain affinities to a high enough level, then it will debunk the entire bloodline and advanced elements." Naruto explained.
"Can we find out my element?" Sasuke asked.
"Nope, not until you've mastered the basics. Go ahead and do another run. Your mother and Madara will be up soon." Naruto said as he kept working out his scorch release. It didn't take long for his wife to walk on the balcony with a cup of coffee and smile at her lover's training.
"He's really getting the Scorch release down pat. Soon, he'll be able to do it in his sleep." Madara said. She continued watching the blond before dropping her cup of coffee. "Naruto!" Madara called out as she jumped off the balcony in her black robe.
"Good morning, Madara. How did you sleep?" Naruto asked. Before she responded, Madara grabbed Naruto's face.
"What the hell happened?" Madara asked.
"What do you mean? I'm confused?" Naruto asked. She then dragged her husband to the bathroom and he was surprised. His once blue eyes, were replaced with purple and rings around them. "What the hell is this? How and why did I awaken the Rinnegan?" Naruto asked.
"I don't know. But, it seems like your body is returning to how it once was." Madara said.
"I never had the Rinnegan before." Naruto said.
Mikoto walked out the bedroom and toward the bathroom as she yawned. "Isn't it kind of early for you guys to get all excited?" asked Mikoto.
"Mikoto, look." Madara said as she pointed at Naruto's Rinnegan.
"How did that happen?" Mikoto asked as she further inspected her surrogate son's eyes.
"I don't know. Maybe from the level of distress I was in. Anyway. What's on today's agenda?" Naruto asked.
"Well, I was think we could do some real training. I doubt you two want to take any D ranks, so it would make more sense to get Sasuke up to a reasonable level." Mikoto said.
Naruto smirked. "I placed a chakra seal on him that's going to help him improve. But I agree. If we can get him to where he needs to be, I'll perform the jutsu on him." Naruto said.
"What jutsu?" Mikoto asked.
"Haven't you noticed? Your reserves, senses, and everything has been enhanced. I've been doing some studying while speaking with the Shinigami along with Kurama. Since we're the Shinigami clan, technically, I can transfer over many of my teachings. However, they will be earned and not given." Naruto said.
"With us three, Sasuke may become a chunin before our next mission." Madara said.
"Let's see. He should be back any moment." Naruto said and like a fortuneteller, Sasuke appeared, nearly out of breath. "Good, it seems the chakra seal is working." Naruto pointed out.
"Alright, Sasuke. We've decided on something. Instead of taking on missions, we're going to dedicate this next month into training you. It'll be hard, but we believe that we can train you to the max. Twenty hours a day, you will train. I will train you on monday's and thursday's, Madara will train you on Tuesday's and Friday's, and finally, Naruto will train you on Wednesday's and Saturdays. We'll take Sunday's off to relax." Mikoto explained.
"Okay, that's fine. When do I start?" Sasuke asked.
Madara smirked and charged with a foot to Sasuke's chest that sent him flying out the backdoor. "Now! One hundred pushups, sit ups, and pull ups!" Madara shouted as she vanished upstairs in a shun shin to get dressed.
Naruto pinched the bridge of his nose. "Damn it, Madara." Naruto thought as he went to the kitchen and started cooking breakfast. Mikoto joined him. "So, what are your plans today, Naruto?" Mikoto asked the blond.
"I was planning to go speak with Hiruzen and take a look at the academy's lesson plan. Once I make chunin, I'll request to replace Iruka. Not that he's a bad teacher, but these brats need more than what they're getting." Naruto explained.
"I see. Do you guys plan on taking the chunin exams this year?" Mikoto asked.
"Yeah. I know we could easily get a field promotion, but something tells me that taking these exams will be fun. Besides, I get the feeling that I need to remind the other villages who is back." Naruto said.
With Madara
"Not bad. Your fire release has gotten much better. You aren't wasting as much chakra." Madara pointed out.
"It's this seal. Unless I channel chakra to it, I can't move." Sasuke said.
"I remember when Naruto made those. It was a breakthrough for our village. Okay, time for agility." Madara said as she drew a few kunai out. "Your job is to dodge these. I won't tell you when I'm going to stop. This will keep alert and force you to push yourself." Madara said.
"Alright." Sasuke said as he quickly avoided a kunai, along with a few more.
"Good, keep it up. As you get better, I'm going to increase the intensity. Are you ready? Of course you are." Madara said.
With Naruto
Naruto arrived inside of Hiruzen's window. He noticed a man with white hair standing in front of him. "Ah, yes. Kakashi, this is Naruto Namikaze." Hiruzen said.
Kakashi's eyes went wide. "Namikaze? Are you related to Minato Namikaze?" asked Kakashi.
Naruto smirked. "It's complicated, but yes. It's nice to meet you." Naruto said as he shook Kakashi's hand.
"Alright, that will be all, Kakashi." Hiruzen said before he turned to great Naruto. "How can I help you?" Hiruzen asked.
"So, Madara and I will take the chunin exams. But also, I need your permission that when I become a chunin, I can start teaching at the ninja academy." Naruto said which shocked the hokage.
"You want to teach at the academy? What for?" asked Hiruzen.
"The cirriculum has gotten too soft over time. Besides, I think Tobriama would be turning in my grave if I didn't take over. Also, I want to lead Anbu and the jonin core." Naruto declared.
"I don't know how the council will take to that. But seeing your reaction, you don't care, do you?" Hiruzen asked with a smirk.
"No, not really. I'm also wish for Madara take charge of the genin and chunin. In other words, I'll have them for the life of a ninja, Madara will deal with them. Anyone that's shown promise, will return to me and learn everything they can to defend the village." Naruto explained.
"What are you planning? Certainly not taking over, right?" the hokage asked with an amused expression.
"No, Hiruzen. I want a strong village because I plan on having everyone reunited as one. It's the only way we can true peace. Will you accept these terms?" Naruto asked.
Hiruzen nodded and then the two began discussing Naruto and Madara's married life.
Namikaze Compound
The day came to an end. Sasuke's body was so broken, that Mikoto ordered her son to go to bed right after dinner. The Uchiha didn't bother fighting, nor did he even grunt. Naruto and Madara were in the kitchen. While Mikoto was the one who mainly cooked, Naruto and Madara would alternate with her so it wasn't all on her.
While Naruto finished up the dishes, Madara was cleaning her fingernails with a kunai. "Naru, come see." Madara called out.
Naruto walked over to his wife as she planted a kiss on his lips. "I'm tired of waiting. We're already married. Why the hell do we have to wait?" asked the female Namikaze.
Naruto sighed. "I told you, not until our bodies mature. When we're fifteen, I'll allow it, not a second sooner." Naruto said with a stern tone.
"Come on, it's been forever!" Madara cried out as she wrapped her arms around the blond. Naruto scooped her up bridal style which made her slightly yelp.
"I promise, the longer we wait, the better it will be. Now, come on. I think you could use a Namikaze massage." Naruto said with a wink as he carried his wife upstairs. Naruto laid his wife on the bed and began massaging her middle back. "I spoke with Hiruzen." Naruto said.
Madara let out a breath of relief from her body being rubbed. "Oh yeah? What did you two talk about?" asked Madara.
"After the chunin exams, I'm going to become an instructor at the ninja academy." Naruto explained.
Madara looked at her husband. "Really? Why would you want to do that?" Madara asked.
"Do you even need to ask? It's a joke. I plan on revising everything and giving you some real shinobi." Naruto said with a smirk as he went down to her feet.
Madara moaned as the tension was being released. "What do you mean, giving me real shinobi?" Madara asked her husband.
"I've recommended you as the leader of the genin and chunin core. You'll be in charge of making sure genin teams are being properly trained along with having the chunin directly under you. This means that our village will become much stronger and prepared for anything." Naruto explained.
"What about the jonin and Anbu?" Madara asked.
"I plan on taking charge of that. While they may take orders from Hiruzen directly, I will be the second in command to keep the chain of power of limited. Also, I will need to keep the council in check." Naruto explained. Suddenly, Naruto was flipped over and thrown on the bed with Madara sitting on top of him.
"Come on, just a little bit?" asked Madara in her innocent voice as she was grinding herself on the blond.
Naruto's face was blushing red. "You're impossilbe." Naruto muttered.
"Can we at least do small things? Like just some hand action?" asked Madara.
Naruto sighed. "Fine, but nothing more!" Naruto declared and his wife came down and pressed her lips against hers while grabbing her lover's magical tool.
