Title: [Unrequited] Sunset.
Author: Glue Project
Rating: G
Pairings: Squint and you may see one or three. I kind of left it open on purpose.
Spoilers: None
Disclaimer: Don't own Yuugiou. Leave me alone.
Summary: Three decide to erase themselves from those they held dear.
Notes: Hm. Very short. (shrug) And certainly not what you expect.
Erasing himself from the other's memory was easier than he expected it to be. In the very least, he thought he would have to completely reconstruct the other's memories in a few places.
Instead, he only had to edit a few of them, and marginally at that.
It made him sad, but also justified him doing this, and then disappearing.
He only caused the other grief.
Too bad that the other didn't know how he actually felt.
Then again, that would complicate things. Even more than they already were.
With a sigh, he flicked the light switch at the door, gazing into the darkness that bore against his eyes.
He never saw his room again.
[The dying light danced off the Rod.]
He sat on the bench in the park. A canvas knapsack was next to him as the dying sunlight glinted off of the golden object thrust into his belt. The tomb robber sat beside him, just as silent as he was, with an identical pack as the other at his feet.
[The dying light danced on the Ring's rim.]
Both looked up as the pharaoh of old walked silently towards them, pausing only for a second for the two to collect their things from around them and then stand.
Both fell into step with the ancient ruler as they walked towards the sunset.
[The dying light danced on the Puzzle's perimeter.]
The wind played with white, brown, and tri-colored hair as all three were swallowed by a spherical vortex before it faded into the red sunset.
[END]
The idea for this popped into my head while I was in the shower. xX; Hm. Theme? Unrequited love.
