Just To Let You Know

Disclaimer: I own nothing I tell you nothing. Wish I had pocket lint.

A/N: Just popped into my head, wasn't doing anything wrong but I got this anyway.

Summary: Set during 'Wrecked' kind of a filler between when she left him in the fallen building and when she woke him up throwing the candle at him. Don't know why, ask them.

Reviews: Yes please. But I don't expect anything good with this one. Just a bit of insanity. Got my marshmallow stick ready. Really expecting flames now.

Buffy answered the ringing phone breathlessly as she had just come home, racing through the house to get it before the answering machine.

"Hello?" She tried to calm her breathing and waited.

"Slayer." The single word was spoken in a deep male voice that she recognized instantly.

"What do YOU want?" She hissed.

"You." It was not the answer she wanted.

"Never." She closed her eyes and wished she'd let the machine get it.

"A little late for that." The voice was now amused.

"Leave me alone." Buffy whispered.

"Can't do that, Luv." Came the answering whisper.

"Why not?" She whined.

"You know why not." He said softly, lovingly.

"Why are you bothering me?" She asked.

"I just called to let you know..." He trailed off.

"To let me know what?" She demanded.

"Just to let you know that everything we did last night we're going to do again." The voice was now a caress against her ear.

"No, we aren't." The protest was weak even to her own ears.

"Yeah, Baby, we are." He insisted.

She hung up on him and stood there trembling.

He hung up the pay phone and rested his forehead against it, trying to control his emotions. He'd just had the best night of his entire existence and couldn't wait to do it all over again. A smile lit his face and he went home to sleep.
