This one is about the many adventures of Brendan and May. So read, laugh, enjoy, whatever. And yes, I do know I am making fun of myself by writing this but I don't care. :3
Hey, my name is May,
And I am new to town.
I'm kinda lost at the moment, so
care to show me around?

I really hate my life right now,
It really is a bother.
All because HE became a gym leader.
My old man, my father.

I do not care for Pokemon,
They sometimes reek of stench.
They also make annoying cries,
It makes my teeth want to clench.

So I walk around with nothing to do,
When I see a house next door.
Maybe they have a cute boy,
Shut up. I am no whore.

So I enter this quiet, little house,
And walk up those long, steep stairs
I see a kid studying out of a book,
His butt planted in a chair.

My heart, it gave a loud thump-thump
as the boy turned around to me.
He smiled, stood up and shook my hand,
I suddenly got weak in the knees.

He said his name was Brendan Birch,
And he was the professor's kid.
I shook his hand and said back,
"I'm May," with a small grin.

He offered me a Pokemon,
But then he looked at the time.
"Damn," he said. "I've gotta go."
And then he left me behind.

Damn, that boy is really cute!
His hair is snowy-white!
His dark-red eyes they sparkle
when he walks into the light.

Wow, I just keep going on
about this guy I just met.
Maybe if I get a Pokemon,
He'll teach me things I bet!

So I walk into the laboratory,
But nobody is there.
Except some puny researcher
with really messed up hair.

"Excuse me, sir, but do you know
where the professor is?"
"The professors' doing field work, miss,"
said the Pokemon researcher wiz.

"Thank you," I said as I left the lab.
My heart, it gave a flutter.
For Brendan just walked down the road,
I felt my legs melt like butter.

"I really need a Pokemon!"
I said to myself out loud,
"So I can be with Brendan,
And make my daddy proud!"

So as I walked into the grass,
A blue-haired kid told me,
"The professor is in trouble!"
So I went down in a hurry.

What I saw was funny.
Some dog was chasing a man.
"Help!" he shouted as he climbed a tree.
I guess I should give him a hand.

"There are Pokeballs inside my backpack!"
the professor shouted in a scurry,
"Pick one up and throw it at this dog!
Sorry to rush you but HURRY!"

A small giggle escaped my lips
as I reached in the bag for a ball.
I threw it into the air and shouted,
"Go, Pokeball!"

Bright, white light exploded,
And a cute red chick came out.
She chirped ever so adorably
as she began to run about.

Clueless about what attacks she had,
I cried out a random move,
"Hurry and use a Scratch attack!"
The chick Pokemon approved.

She ran at the black puppy dog,
And scratched with all her might.
The dog, he howled and then backed down,
And ran away from sight.

"Thank you,"
the professor said.
"Let's go to my lab
and talk there instead."

In a few moments, about a few yards of walking,
We were back at the Professor's Lab.
The professor gave me the Pokemon I used.
In return, I smiled, glad.

He said her name was Torchic
and that she's a fire type.
He said her Ember is quite strong,
Her claws they hurt with one swipe.

He said to test my skills
against his kid today.
I remember that his kid was Brendan ...
I suddenly became afraid.

So I walked right past Oldale Town
and into the grassy land.
Soon enough, I see that Brendan,
A small notebook in hand.

"Hey, I got a Pokemon!"
I said in quite a prattle.
He only smirked back in return and said,
"Then let's have a Pokemon battle!"

"Go, Mudkip!" he bellowed.
"Go, Torchic!" I shout.
In two blazes of white light,
Two Pokemon came out.

In the end I lost,
But I was happy I was here.
Brendan Birch was right next to me,
I started to feel weird.

We were healing our Pokemon
when Brendan began to confess,
"I think I fell in love with you.
You're so pretty, full of zest."

Oh, my god! I cannot believe
what just happened today!
Latios, I must be dreaming.
Am I really May?

Anyway, back to the story,
We walked into the lab.
Soon enough, we saw a man,
Of course, it's Brendan's dad!

The Professor had a smile on,
His eyes sparkled in the sun.
He said, "You two should travel together
and be Hoenn's number one!"

Of course, Brendan and I both agreed.
We got ready with our supplies.
We left the town of Littleroot
after saying our goodbyes.

"Hey, May," the white-haired trainer said
as we were walking along,
"Promise you'll be with me
as the days grow long."
- - -
"Of course I will,"
I said in reply,
"As your girlfriend,
I'll stay by your side."
- - -
"Girlfriend?!"
Brendan tripped over his feet.
"You really mean that?
That's wicked sweet!"

So the two of kissed,
I was walking on air.
Sure, I fell in the mud,
But I didn't care.

So Brendan and I travel,
Day after day.
