Episode 12: United As One
Another beautiful day and the Rangers meet up to enjoy their weekend and show Orion more of their city. They were walking near a church when they saw a couple walking out with family and friends. Emma, touched by the scene, walked closer to see.
-Isn't that beautiful? -asked Emma.
Gia smiled, looking at her best friend. Emma always dreamed about that day and until she found Jake, Gia wondered if she was different for not caring, she still doesn't make a scene like Emma does but she had to recognize, the scene was beautiful and after what she learned on that other universe, where that Gia married her Jake and had a son with him, it made everything more real.
Not for now but still…
Behind the girls, Troy looked sightly nervous while Jake crossed his arms, smiling at the scene. He has been to several Ranger weddings and all of them have been different but to be honest, he can't stop himself from thinking about that day when Gia…
His smile only grew when he noticed Troy nervous, beside them, Noah was explaining to Orion the pros and cons of married life and why this is such a big moment for people on Earth. Orion seemed interested but he still had questions and Noah did his best to answer them.
-Hey, is something bothering you? -asked Jake.
-Uh? No, nothing…-said Troy.
Jake raised his eyebrow and Troy sighed, grabbing Jake, and pushing him far enough so the girls couldn't hear them.
-I'm worried I'm not being a good boyfriend… -confessed Troy, looking at Emma-… I love her but sometimes I feel I come across someone cold even with her and I'm not sure I'm showing her that she is what's keeping me warm.
-Troy, she is happy, can't you see? Emma is a good soul but she is far from dreamy, if she is still with you is because she knows the person in here. -said Jake, putting a hand on Troy's chest, by his heart.
Troy seemed to think about Jake's words, trying to understand the meaning when he heard a noise and look towards the church where he and the Rangers saw a monster appearing and using his powers to take the happiness from the married couple and the family around them.
Troy quickly stood in front of his friends and got his morpher while the others did the same, getting ready to morph.
-Super Megaforce! -screamed the Rangers.
The Rangers morphed into the Super Megaforce Rangers and got ready to fight the monster when they saw he used a part of his body to make himself bigger suddenly, the monster was the size of their Megazord so, without losing time Red Super Megazord and Silver Super Megazord called their Megazords, ready to battle their new foe.
When they got ready, the Rangers approached the monster but they didn't understand that's exactly what the monster wanted as he laughed and make himself smile, flying inside the Super Megazord while the Rangers looked at him without being able to stop him.
-What the hell? -asked Green Super Megaforce.
-We have to look for him. -said Red Super Megaforce-… but be careful.
The Rangers got up from their seat and looked around when they saw something flying outside and getting into the arm of the Megazord, quickly, the Rangers followed him and ended up in the Megazord's arm even with the Silver Ranger that jumped from his Megazord to assist the Rangers.
They were looking around when the monster make himself normal size again and punched Green Super Megaforce, making him stumble while the Rangers used their laser against the monster, unfortunately, the monster flew, making himself small in time for the Rangers to hit the arm of the Megazord, damaging it.
-Now you won't bother me! -said the monster.
The monster flew away while Blue Super Megaforce helped Green Super Megaforce to get up and they all looked at the hole in the Megazord's arm. Red Super Megaforce sighed, this was a disaster.
-What are we going to do now? We have to stop him. -said Silver Super Megaforce.
-Let's see… -said Green Super Megaforce, looking around-… where is it?
-What are you doing? -asked Blue Super Megaforce.
-Rangers always bring tools with them in case the Megazords need repair… I learned a few tricks from Damon Henderson, the Lost Galaxy Green Ranger, Billy, Ethan, Andros… well, the list goes down -said Jake, demorphing while he looked around and came back to his friends with a box-… see? This has everything we need to repair the Megazord.
-But what about the monster? -asked Emma, demorphing.
The Rangers demorphed while Jake thought about it and then he looked over Troy and Emma while a plan started to take form in his mind. He looked over at Gia and she seemed to be thinking something along those lines, so she nodded while Jake looked at Troy and Emma again.
-You and Troy can go and look for the monster while we repair the Megazord -said Jake-. And before you start. I need Noah here because he is the smart one. I worked with Megazord before and I need Gia as an extra hand and Orion… well, is a chance for him to learn about Megazords too.
Troy and Emma looked at Jake while the Green Ranger smiled, of course, his words rule out any chance for them to discuss why they had to go and while Emma had no problem, Troy seemed to be conflicted but Jake knew it was for the best.
Troy needed quality time with his girlfriend and there was no better time than now.
-Ok… let's go? -asked Emma, extending her hand towards Troy so he could take it.
-Of course…-said Troy, taking her hand.
The Rangers left while Jake nodded to himself and Gia touched his arms.
-Very smart, Jake. -said Gia, kissing him on the cheek.
-I learn from the best. -said Jake, smiling then, he looked at Noah and Orion-… ok everyone, time to work!
Church
Troy and Emma went back to the Church, Emma figured that if the monster was stealing happiness they should use that to find him so here they were, Troy in a tuxedo at the altar, waiting for Emma that somehow managed to grab a wedding dress and was changing.
Troy waited, nervous when he heard a voice and turned to see Emma, dressed in white. Troy's mouth fell open as he looked at the most beautiful woman he had ever seen walking towards him, in a beautiful white dress. Emma was smiling and Troy quickly closed his mouth and smiled brightly, looking at her.
She walked towards him and for the first time, Troy knew what Jake meant when he said Emma knew, the way she smiled, how happy she looked just because they were there… she knew she made him happy and Troy smiled, free of his doubts.
When Emma got where he was, Troy opened his hands and Emma put them over him, looking up at him then, they kissed while the monster watched them in the shadows but they didn't care, the peace and the happiness they felt was all they focused on.
That's when the monster opened the door and surprised them or that's what he thought.
-No more happiness! -said the monster.
The monster prepare himself to attack but before he could do something, Troy and Emma grabbed their Super Megaforce lasers and fired at the monster, making him take several steps back and run from the scene while Troy and Emma looked at each other.
-Come on. We have to catch him. -said, Troy.
Emma winked at him, making Troy blush, and ran towards the door, taking off the veil and part of the dress, making it shorter while Troy took off the jacket and ran after her. Outside, they saw the monster run towards the park and followed him.
-Stop following me! -screamed the monster.
-You wanted happiness! -screamed Emma.
The monster ran while Troy and Emma followed him, unfortunately for them, a small zone full of children was on their path and the monster didn't think twice, stealing their happiness to make himself stronger then, he turned towards Troy and Emma and attacked them, sending both to the ground.
Troy and Emma fell to the ground but the monster moved towards Emma, raising his hand to steal her happiness when suddenly, Troy managed to move and grabbed the monster from behind, pushing him off of Emma.
-Troy!
-You are not touching her…-growled Troy.
-Then I will touch you. -said the monster.
The monster moved, grabbing Troy, and stealing his energy. Troy fell to the ground while images of his happiness appeared for Emma to see. He had images of his family and his friends but most of them were hers and Emma feels tears run down her cheeks when she saw that his happiest moments were with her.
She knew but seeing them hits differently, was another proof of his love for her.
Suddenly white energy surrounded Troy, forcing the monster to let him go and at the same time he did that, two things happened: Emma turned to see their friends there, with Jake sparkling white energy to save Troy, and the happiness in Troy, made an explosion that made the civilians recover their happiness, taking the energy from the monster.
Jake knelt, breathing heavily but he smiled when he saw Emma hugging Troy and both of them running toward their friends.
-Jake, are you ok? -asked Troy.
-Yeah… that was a lot of happiness for someone so serious, leader. -said Jake, with Gia hugging him for support.
-It was… I guess I never thought about it. It was just… natural. -said Troy, looking at Emma.
Emma looked at him with a sweet smile when they heard the monster and quickly the team took position while Troy grabbed the Time Force key and looked at his friends.
-Nothing to honor love more than the love story through time, right? -said Troy, smiling-. Time For! Time Force!
-Time For! Time Force! -screamed the Rangers.
-Quantum Power! -screamed Orion.
The Rangers transformed into the Time Force Rangers and ran towards the monster, using their Chrono Sabers, Red, Green, and Pink hit the monster with powerful attacks while Blue and Yellow used the Chrono Blaster to fire at the monster, sending him flying so the Quantum Ranger could use the Quantum Defender in its blade more and hit the monster one more time.
The monster fell to the ground, defeated while the Rangers went back to the Super Megaforce form and turned around, ready to call the Megazords as they knew what would happen next.
A few moments later, the monster grew and the Rangers sighed, jumping on their Megazords when Red Super Megaforce got an idea and make contact with the Silver Super Megaforce's Megazord.
-Hey Silver! Do you think you can join us here? -asked Red Super Megaforce.
-As a matter of fact yes, while you two fought the monster we added a new feature to the zords so we could become one -said Silver Super Megaforce.
When Red Super Megaforce looked at his panel, he saw a key and pressed it down at the same time Silver Super Megaforce did, creating a new Legendary Megazord and allowing Silver Super Megaforce to join them in the Legendary Megazord.
-Ok! Let's finish this! -screamed Red Super Megaforce.
Silver Super Megaforce and Red Super Megaforce prepared the attack while the other Rangers move the Megazord and hit the monster with a powerful attack that didn't give the monster the chance of attacking them as he was defeated instantly.
The Rangers celebrated while Red and Pink Super Megaforce looked at each other. Today, love won.
Park
The Rangers walked around the Park, relaxing after their victory. Noah and Orion were talking about the zords while Troy and Jake stood behind and Emma and Gia were talking and laughing. Troy stopped Jake and looked at him.
-Thank you, Jake. For your words and for saving me when the monster attacked me. -said, Troy.
-No problem, man, all I wanted was for you to see yourself, Troy. You are a good friend, leader, and apparently, boyfriend. -said Jake, looking at the girls.
Troy nodded and both Rangers hug briefly while a little ahead of them, Gia and Emma talked about what happened.
-So… that was a nice declaration of love. -said, Gia.
-Yes, it was. I know he loved me, you know? But seeing that I was a big part of his happiness… I don't know, it hit differently. -said Emma, smiling to herself.
-We are lucky, aren't we? -asked Gia-. We got good guys with us.
-We are, also I have to thank Jake for talking to Troy, don't believe I don't know he has been trying to ease Troy's fears. -said, Emma.
-We are scared too, Emma but Jake only said what was already there. -said Gia, hugging her best friend-.. who knows, maybe someday we will be the ones getting married to our boys in that Church.
Emma laughed and hugged Gia as both friends walked towards the whole team and the Rangers prepared themselves to have a nice day, not the threat was over… for now.
