Beck: Jade Dumps Beck
If anyone would ask Beck if he had purposely not told Jade about Alyssa Vaughn being in his yoga class, he would say no. However he hadn't felt the need to tell her either, knowing how she would react. Sure, sometimes he liked to make her jealous on purpose, but he hadn't planned on doing that today. It was just his luck that some paparazzi had taken a photo of him and Alyssa Vaughn and she chose today to text him about the new movie she was shooting. Considering the photo this morning and the texts she kept sending him, Jade's reaction was calm, knowing how she could have reacted. What Beck didn't expect however was that Jade would break up with him over this, but there was one thing that he had learned since he had started to date Jade and that was that she was not predictable.
The next day he let Alyssa Vaughn drive him to school, this time to make Jade jealous and come back to him. Even from so far away he could see Jade angrily stand up and leave, so it had worked. After he refused to just get back together with her like nothing had happened, he was already curious what Jade's next move would be and he wasn't disappoint when later that day Tori visited him. Knowing Jade for so long she must have tricked Tori into helping her and at the same time testing her loyalty to her. This was just the way his girlfriend worked and yes he still called her that. He hadn't even bothered to change his relationship status on The Slap because he knew they would be back together in no time.
Remembering that Jade had made it so difficult for him after his stage kiss with Tori, which he still felt guilty about, he wouldn't make it so easy for her now. Knowing that Tori would report to Jade what he had said, he told her that Jade didn't often do something nice for him. It wasn't entirely true, she did things for him that told him that she cared, just in her own way, but after the few rocky weeks they had, he wanted her to do something nice for him.
Little did he know that Jade doing something nice would end up with his father injured, but maybe he should have expected something like this to happen. When the first shock about his father being attacked by a dog lessened and he knew that his father was in good hands, even if that girl had been flirting with him instead of helping his father, he concentrated back on Jade. She had really remembered that he had always wanted a dog. They had been a couple for only four months when he had told her that. He had just gotten his RV and had talked to her about that maybe now he could get a dog. After he had come to the conclusion that the RV was too small and he didn't have time for a pet, they had never talked about it again. That was a year and a half ago and she still remembered it and that made his heart melt.
On the outside Jade seemed often mean and didn't seem to care much about other people's feelings, but Beck knew better. Jade cared deeply for the people who she loved and she always remembered the things that were important to them. This was just another proof for it. He could already imagine the speech that his dad would give him the next day about dating a girl that injured him with a huge dangerous dog, but he didn't care. His parents couldn't see Jade the way he saw her.
When Jade tried to explain why she got him a dog and apologized for hurting his father, he couldn't hold back anymore and kissed her. How he had missed the feeling of her lips on his and her so close to him. If he was honest with himself he missed everything about her. They had only been broken up for two days, but it had been enough for him to already miss being so close to her. With the reassurance that she loved him just as much as he loved her, he kissed her passionately. When Tori spoke up and Jade broke their kiss he really hoped she wouldn't leave to drive Tori home. For once he was glad that his girlfriend had no problem with denying someone something and was more than happy when she turned back to him and their lips met a third time that day. This night he would finally have her back in his arms again and he couldn't be happier about it.
Jade: Jade Dumps Beck
Until this morning Jade had never anything against Beck going to yoga class two times a week, but since she had seen the photo of him and Alyssa Vaughn a few minutes ago she changed her mind. It was only lunch time and that rich girl had already sent her boyfriend six texts. When he received another one from her, Jade had finally enough. Maybe she was overreacting, but right now she didn't care. It was their first fight that ended in a break up and it wasn't until she was home that she really realized what she had done. However they could never be apart for long, so she didn't worry too much about it. That Beck hadn't changed his relationship status on The Slap was another sign that they would undoubtedly get back together in no time.
The next day when Beck arrived with Alyssa Vaughn, Jade felt her anger rise. Beck loved to make her jealous and this was definitely one of his plans to do so and the worst thing was that it was working. Seeing them together made her blood boil with anger and jealousy and she had to get away.
Later that day she went over to Beck's RV and after she kicked the door open she confronted him. Beck's reaction, he was only listening calmly to her screaming, angered her even further. In the end she demanded that they should get back together. She was surprised and a little hurt when he rejected her and just said maybe some time apart would do them good if she kept getting so jealous. Angrily Jade left Beck's home, he was the one who triggered her jealousy in the first place so it was his fault.
After she drove around for a few minutes aimlessly she realized what Beck was trying to do. She knew that she was never one to tell people outright that she cared about them, so Beck always tried to make her jealous to see how much she loved him. Maybe that wasn't enough proof for him anymore after the last couple of weeks had been a little rocky in their relationship. As much as she hated to admit it, she needed advice from someone who every boy probably would consider the perfect girlfriend. Immediately Tori Vega came to mind and she found herself driving over to her house. It wasn't too hard to get Tori to help her with a little bit of acting, because there was no way Jade West would really cry in front of Tori Vega.
A dangerous huge dog might not have been her best idea, but in her defense, Beck had told her in the beginning of their relationship that he had always wanted a Rottweiler so that kind of dog was obviously a good gift. She almost felt sorry for Beck's father, but when her boyfriend told her that he never stopped loving her and kissed her that thought left her mind immediately. His parents were never really fond of her anyway and the most important thing was that she had Beck back.
They spend the rest of the night in his RV and when in the morning he woke her up with a cup of coffee and kissed her lovingly on the forehead, the world was alright again. The whole day they were glued to each others side even more than they normally were and she enjoyed every minute of it. After school Beck wanted to see how his father was doing and Jade offered to come with him to formally apologize to his father. When they entered Beck's house together Jade saw Mr. Oliver sitting on the couch, still with bandages. The older man immediately looked angrily at her and after she apologize he told her that she should just leave. She only rolled her eyes and told Beck that she would wait in his RV for him. Maybe Mr. Oliver had a right to be angry at her, but just ignoring her apology was rude, especially because she almost never apologized to anyone. However before she could walk away she heard loud voices from inside the room and couldn't help but listen.
"How can you be with a girl like her? She is not right for you Beck. You should break up with her for good." That was undoubtedly Mr. Oliver's voice.
"I won't break up with her. I love her. She only tried to do something nice for me, because she knew I always wanted a dog." Her boyfriend's voice was calm but she could hear the suppressed anger in it.
Beck's parents had never been happy that Beck chose her as his girlfriend and they had told him that often enough even when she stood right beside him, but he always defended her. Jade knew that one of the main reasons he got the RV had been that his parents couldn't bother them there and he could be with Jade without the Olivers judging her. Hearing him say, after they had been broken up for a few days, that he loved her in front of his father and still defending her, let her smile despite the situation.
She was so deep in thoughts that she didn't realized that the voices from inside had stopped and Beck was now coming out of the room. He didn't look surprised to see her still standing there and just smiled lightly and hold his hand out for her. Together they walked to his RV in comfortable silence and then snuggled up on his bed to watch a movie.
"I really didn't mean for this to happen. I'm really sorry, you know that right?" She felt the need to tell him that again.
"I know." He said and leaned down to kiss her softly. When they finally pulled away after a few minutes she smiled at him.
"I love you."
She rarely said it, not because she was not feeling that way, but because she didn't felt comfortable talking about her feelings. However after what he had said to his dad about her, made her wanted to tell him again. Beck smiled lovingly at her and hearing him say he loved her too was the best reward she could ask for and of course the passionate kiss that he placed on her lips afterwards.
