On the bay at Marineford you can see how the citizens were being evacuated towards the archipelago Sabaody.

At the bay stood a boy with bright orange hair and equally bright eyes saying his goodbyes to his father. Pride shone in the father's eyes as he looked at his son, knowing that he would make him proud.

The man's heart ached as he watched his son walk away, knowing that it would be a long time before he saw him again. But he knew that his son was strong, and that he would survive whatever the war threw at him. The man turned away and got on the evacuating boats. It was going to be a long wait...

Said boy never returned to his father's arms. But he did made him proud until the very last second.

Sengoku was preparing everything for Ace's arrival at Marineford. It was chaotic but worth it, if it meant ending once and for all, this ridiculous pirate era that Roger started. And what better way to end it that with his own son?.

When Ace declared his blood relation to the pirate king, Sengoku didn't belive it.Baltiria "accident" didn't fit with Ace's age. He assumed he was you's another pirate trying to get power our something.

He would have keep that mind set if it weren't for a man know as Marshall D. Teach. Said man came asking for a seat on the Warlord's of the sea with Ace capture. He claimed that Ace was indeed Roger's son with the argument that when their pirate crews used to meet long ago, Roger would proudly show off his son's. This made him look up the birth certificates of Baltiria were he found put that Blackbeard was indeed correct. Ace was truly Gold Roger's son. He was Portugas D. Rouge woman that they later found out was seen with Roger, but couldn't do anything about it cause she died. Never did that much of a search until now and oh boy does Sengoku regrets it? he feels like a idiot.

But he wasn't gonna act like one.

He wasn't going to waist such golden opportunity!.

Luffy entered Impeldown the most secure prison in the whole world with the help of Boa Hancock. He was making his way towards the lowest level where his brother Ace was being kept in.

As Luffy was making his way down, he ran into some of the most dangerous criminals in the world and made them his allies. He finally made it to the level where Ace was being kept on but didn't find him on it. Apparently he was already taken early towards Marineford, place were his execution was being plan to being take at.

They decided that it was time to escape the prison. They had their losses and their victories, but in the end they made it to freedom.

"This is Navy Hq".

The Denden Mushi of the Marine boat they stole ringed and as always Luffy did his think and responded.

"Hi this is Luffy" Luffy answer as everyone said how he shouldn't do that "We received word from the Impel Down convoy that this ship has been taken over by the escapees. Judging from the information we received before we lost contact with Impel Down, we've determined that there are two men responsible of this break-out."

Everyone's attention was immediately caught.

"The pirate Straw hat Luffy and his fellow pirate Buggy the clown" Buggy seemed surprised at this "They think Captain Buggy is more important than the Schibukai?!" The prisoners of Impeldown that were following Buggy all around said surprise "Who are you?!!!!".

"We'd underestimated you, thinking you were just some no-name pirate. Buggy the Clown, we never would have thought..that you were a former crewmate of the Pirate King, Gold Roger" Every escaped prisoner screamed so hard that it rocked up the ship "A-A star! He's a pirate star!" someone exclaimed "We've also received word that you are like a brother to Red Hair Shanks of the Emperor's" everyone stared at Buggy as if they couldn't believe what they were hearing. "I'm impressed that a man such as you would just lie low underwater until this incident came along. But since you've come here you've revealed your true strength" Buggy felt like drowning right now "We've yet to find any connections between you and Fire Fist Ace...but I'm sure your objective is the same as Straw Hat Luffy's, to save Ace." All his year's living peacefully without having the world tracking him up slipped away so fast- "We've also confirmed that Jinbei, Crocodile, Ivankov, well as over 200 other escapees, are on board the ship. I'm warning you now...unless we open the Gates of Justice,you will not be able to reach Marineford," Is not like Buggy wanted to go there! He didn't escape from prison to go to war! Luffy took the Denden Mushi closer "Hey, wait, Navy!" Luffy took a deep breath " I'm definitely going to save Ace! So just wash your potatoes and wait!" Potatoes? was all the Marines though " The phrase doesn't go like that!!!" everyone screamed "Leaving that out of the way. Captain Buggy where are you really part of that legendary crew?!".

"And Shank's is like your brother?!"

"Captain Buggy is a legendary pirate!"

Buggy didn't like this attention at all. Meanwhile Crocodile, Ivankove, Jimbe and company were assuming he was the black sheep of the crew.

"Now that i think about it-" Luffy remembered Rayleigh's words back at Sabaody.

—Did you know of an East blue pirate by the name of Buggy the clown? —.

"aunt Rayleigh mentioned you. Are you like Shanks? Are you my brother?"

Everyone was starting back and forward from Luffy to Buggy.

"You meet the vice captain Rayleigh?! He was so cool- WAIT! What do you mean by brother?!!!!!"

"Gold Roger adopted Shanks right? That makes him my brother! Did he adopt you?"

Buggy didn't know this!

Oh fuck...

He almost killed his brother back at Logue town-

"Strawhat is Gold Roger son?!!!!"

"It makes sense you prisoners don't know. The paper doesn't arrive for everyone at prison. But it made the news that straw hat was Roger's son" Jimbe explained.

Buggy thinks about it now. He was arrested not that long after the whole capture of the Strawhat disaster. So he clearly didn't get the paper!.

And maybe he didn't put that much attention to Luffy's full name-

Shanks hat was Roger's, he wouldn't give it to you's anyone. Everything about Strawhat was starting to make sense.

"Yeah i am-" Buggy felt that he was about to collapse "Wait! Buggy is the pirate king adopted son?!!!!"

"He's way more legendary!!!!"

"Buggy we will follow you to the end!"

He kinda loves the praise.

But I still Hate it.

"You really want to save Ace don't you?"

Buggy didn't really care about Ace, but maybe that's what he wanted to believe.

Cause at the end he knew that there wasn't that much he could do. And he would end up getting too much attention. Attention that he tried so hard to avoid.

But if Luffy was able to escape the strongest prison-

"OF COURSE!!!"

Buggy can deal with his annoying ass a little longer...

"Then count me in!"

Ace was brought to the execution platform were he saw Marineford repleted of Marines like if they were sardines.

"He should be coming at any moment

Some moments later Whitebeards boat's floated out of the water.

"Po-ps"

Whitebeard made his way towards the front of the deck.

"You better tell me that my precious son is fine" Sengoku froze. How could they let him get so close as to appear at the bay?!.

"It's been a while, doesn't it Sengoku?"

The war began not long after Whitebeard's arrival. Things got messy really fast. Oars jr. died in order to help ace, and now they were using him to get to the other side. They weren't letting their brother sacrifice be in vain.

Suddenly something was falling off the sky

"AHHHHHH!!!"

"WHY DID I AGREE TO THIS?!"

"ACEEEEEE!!!!"

Why were Straw hat and the escapists falling from the sky?

Their warship had been tossed around by the force of Whitebeard's seaquake. Somehow they manage to get on the enormous wave. The same enormous wave was frozen by admiral Aokiji and as such the pirates thought of sliding the ship back to the water. It was a plan that would have worked if they broke the wrong part and broke the ice where they stood.

That brings us back to the present, where Luffy and the others are falling.

"Look! A warship just fell into the hole left by the iceblock Jozu threw!"

Luffy made his big entrance at the war like a magnet of chaos. He screamed with all his lungs that he would save Ace.

Then Marco's Denden mushi ringed and the secret plan got into motion. Strawhat my not now but his older brother yous added him to his plan. Marco couldn't do more than smile seeing how the world was about to put upside down.

Everything went too fast for Sengoku. He didn't notice the moment that the executers banished with Ace. Because in their place there were some rocks.

"Luffy help us get to the moby dick!" In front of Luffy were his two older brothers and another man that seemed quite familiar " Gomu Gomu no Rocket!!!" They were flying right to the Moby dick but-

"Where's Luffy?!!!"

Luffy didn't get to the Moby dick.

"You are not escaping this place!".

Admiral Akainu made his entrance.

He grabbed Luffy and trew him to the ground "Roger's son..." Akainu knew what he was doing. He knew that by getting one of the brothers the others will come back on their own "Luffy!!!!" Ace couldn't let Luffy die.

— Ace protect your Mom and brothers for me —

Sabo had already took his shackles away.

"LET HIM ALONE!!!" Ace trew himself blindly like a ranging inferno. But he wasn't fast enough-

Akainu punch hited Luffy.

"LUUUUUUUUFFY!!!!!"

Ace stopped breathing.

— Have you ever thought that you don't need the whole world to care if you have a family that does? —

And at the end why did it matter if he couldn't even keep them safe.

"It's that...A MARINE?!!!!!"

Instead of Luffy stood a young marine with bright orange hair. Said marine took Akainu attack and saved Luffy's life.

"Why did you interfere?!"

"My name is Zadock"

Zadock entered the marines for doing what was right. But killing someone for their father's crimes was something that he didn't agree on.

— I'm sorry dad but I have to fight for my own justice —

He knew his dad was waiting for his return. But he wouldn't let someone be kill for their father, not when said father would have done everything for him.

"Did your father wanted you to live?"

He asked the brothers that were listening.

"THEN LIVE YOU STUPID PIRATE'S!!!!"

If his gonna die in war better do it on his own justice.

Zadock stood for what was right and he was going to honor that name.

The Marines words flowed through Ace's head.

All his life trying to prove something and make the world care. Then he was happy with his family caring for his life, but did Ace truly care enough about himself?

He would give his life for any of his brothers.

He didn't care if he lived our not.

But Zodock word's make him realize something.

His family wanted Ace to live with them. There was no meaning if they survive but Ace didn't. They wanted him to live as much as he wanted.

So Ace took his little brother and ran towards the Moby dick as fast as he could. He wasn't gonna be the man that die...

He may not knew him but Ace was going to make sure he gets a proper burial.

The Whitebeards escaped Marineford and got into hiding. There was a clear winner on this war and all thanks to a young boy with orange hair.

The main title of the paper was:

— ACE THE MAN WHO LIVED!!!! —

Ace was finally happy with his life and wouldn't change anything except -

"We lived and now the world now's it! So let's promise to never let them forget it!"

The brothers shared a brotherly hug as the rest of their crew looked on with joy.

"To the New World!" They all cheered.

The three brothers took their own path.

Sabo went back to fighting against the world.

Luffy went with Rayleigh who offer to train him.

And Ace? He continued sailing with his family.

Ace was finally living yous for the sake of it.

Somewhere up the clouds tree people that gave their lives for him smiled happily at the sight.

The brothers made sure to turn this world upsidedown with the opportunity that they got at living.

Living for living that's what pirate's do.
