When we got there we saw a vast expanse of sand, before we headed out, to the Mirror of Twilight, and to reclaim my cousins home. Looking across the desert we saw the arbiters grounds in the distance, by the tall pillars sticking out the ground in the distance, but we also saw a something familiar,

"Is that the piece of the bridge that disappeared during one of our battles against the shadow beasts?" I asked, pointing to where we could see it sticking up.

"Looks like it," Saria said.

"Should we return it while we are here?" Linkette asked, getting shrugs.

"May as well," I said as we headed to it.

Along the way, we got two Poe souls, one right next to it, two golden dayfly's, and a trio of shadow beasts, and after warping it back we noticed a cave underneath it that we entered. It was called the Cave of Ordeals, and so it was. Especially since it has far more enemies, the more people with you. It even had three Poes And you needed items we did not have to pass some areas. Luckily, my levitation magic(first, and fourth), and cannon(second) got past some while Linkette's shrinking magic got us past the last(third). Our reward was Great Fairy's Tears, and fairies at the various springs. Though other then that I don't want to think about it. So many enemies...we barely made it out alive.

We then continued on to the north section of the desert where we got four more Poe souls before discovering a Bulbin Camp blocking the way to the Arbiters Grounds.

We slowly made our way through the camp, using the bow and arrows we got from the Goron Mine to snipe them from afar, before they could see us, and raise the alarm. Eventually we had to open a lock, and enter a closed room trying to find a way through the wooden barriers protecting the entrance to the Arbiters grounds. Inside we approached a boar mount used by Bulbins when King Bulbin, appeared and first knocked the boar away before attacking us. I used the Darklight mirror to block his attacks, while Saria, and Linkette attacked with arrows, before I managed to get enough time to summon the cannon, hurting him enough to cause him to limp away. Unfortunately he decided to lock us in, and set the room on fire.

"Now what do we do?" Saria asked. "None of our magic can help."

She was right. Forest magic is harder in the desert, especially when surrounded by fire. Shrinking magic would just mean there is less of us, so we would burn quicker, and the light from the fire would destroy the shadows before we could leave.

"There!" Ember said, pointing to the Boar as it recovered from the damage earlier. "Use him to smash through the gate."

"Right!" we agreed as we hopped on, then held on for dear life as he crashed through not only the locked door, but the barriers stopping us from entering the Arbiters Grounds as well.

Outside the Arbiter's Grounds we found a Poe, and seeing how late it was we decided to camp out for the night and enter in the morning when we are rested. We went back to the Bulbins camp, to raid for supplies, and destroying the poe in the ruins of the room we fought in. Before setting up. Of course the nights in a desert are far colder then the days, and Me, Saria, and Linkette ended up sleeping in a pile in our animal forms for warmth, before waking in the morning to Navi telling us it was Dawn, and to hurry up and enter the Arbiters Grounds.

Luckily Ember was there to order her to leave us be. It was good to know one of the fairies were on our side. But we were already up, so we got ready and entered the Arbiters Grounds.
