Chapter : 5.
Odd opened his eyes and sat up in bed. Sweat poured down his head. He looked over to his left and saw Yumi sleeping next to him. He shook her.
"Yumi , wake up."
Yumi stirred and opened her eyes.
"What is it ? ," she asked.
"Where are we ? ," Odd asked.
"At my house ," Yumi said , "I called you over here last night."
"You did ? ," he asked.
"Are you okay ? ," Yumi asked.
"I. . . ," Odd trailed off.
The door opened and Ulrich walked in. He glared at them.
"Oh , I see how it is ," Ulrich growled , "We get in to one little fight and you go and sleep with Odd. Well fuck you too."
"Oh , fuck you , Ulrich ," she said , "We broke up. Get over it."
"I came back to apologize ! ," Ulrich yelled.
"I don't care ! ," Yumi shouted , "I'm in love with Odd now !"
"Maybe I should I leave ," Odd said.
"No , Odd ," she said , "Ulrich , you leave ! I'm done with you !"
"What ? ," Ulrich replied.
"You heard me ! Get out ! ," Yumi shouted.
Ulrich ran over to her and grabbed her arms.
"Look , bitch ," Ulrich said , "I'm trying to apologize here !"
Yumi slapped him. Ulrich punched her.
"Hey ! ," Odd shouted.
Odd punched Ulrich. Yumi grabbed a gun , aimed it at Ulrich and pulled back the hammer. Odd looked at her. "Yumi , put the gun down !"
"No ," she stated , "If I don't kill him it will never be over. He'll keep stalking me forever. I can't take it anymore. I want him out of my life for good."
"Yumi , give me the gun ," Odd said.
"You couldn't do it even if - ," Ulrich started to say.
Yumi pulled the trigger. The bullet flew out of the gun and hit Ulrich in the head. He fell to the ground.
"SON OF A BITCH ! ," Yumi shouted. She spit on his dead body. "GOOD RIDDANCE !"
Odd got out of bed and put on his pants. He ran to the phone and dialed 911. Yumi walked up behind him and hung the phone up. "What are you doing ?"
"Calling the police ," he said.
"They don't need to know ," Yumi said.
"What ? ," Odd asked.
"Now that Ulrich's dead he won't bother us anymore ," she replied , "We can bury him in the ground and be done with him. We can be free."
"Are you insane ? ," he asked , "You just killed someone."
"I did it for us , Odd ," Yumi stated , "I love you."
She hugged him. Odd wrenched out of her grasp. "What is it ?"
"I'm calling the police ," Odd said.
He pulled out his cell phone. Yumi grabbed his hand. Odd looked up at her.
"Don't call them , Odd ," she said , "Please. It's the only way we can be together."
Odd got out of her grasp and dialed 911. He waited. Suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his back. Then he felt blood ooze down his back. He coughed and blood came out of his mouth. Odd fell to the floor. "I'm sorry." Yumi kissed him on the lips and Odd blacked out.
