Tears are pricking at my eyes

One big breath, I let out a sigh

Endured too much pain

For a lifetime

Embarrassed- I've been shamed

For a lifetime.

Looking at you, I know you've changed.

Some years- we've become estranged

Loved one for too long

For a lifetime

Tried to be strong

For a lifetime

Why, damn it, why- Why aren't you here? [with me]

Just look at me- look at my tears. [please see]

Too many memories

For a lifetime

Too many tragedies

For a lifetime
